The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 32: The Wealthy Heiress

As soon as class ended, Lila tossed her pencil case to the ground, "Ugh, today sucks!"

Natalia tugged at her sleeve, "Lila, chill out. I swear Skylar did it on purpose. Mira was the one who cursed first, but she acted like she didn't hear it."

Lila shot a glare at Mira and Victoria, but Victoria's icy stare made her back off.

Wendy jumped in, "Lila, don't lower yourself to their level. Ella's the true heiress, and Victoria, the fake heiress, won't be able to keep up her act for long."

Ella smiled as she watched them mock Victoria, but she said kindly, "Alright, don't be mad. We don't have any classes this afternoon, so I'll treat you all to lunch at the Royal Sapphire Bistro. My parents booked a private room for us!"

Lila's face lit up, "Oh my god, the Royal Sapphire Bistro where it costs over two grand per person? Ella, you're loaded!"

Wendy quickly added, "Not just that! I heard the private rooms at the Royal Sapphire Bistro are super hard to book!"

Natalia lifted her chin proudly, as if she were the rich one, "Of course, Ella is generous and kind. We've only known each other for a few days, and she's already treating us to such an expensive meal. Unlike some people who won $130,000 in prizes but don't spend a dime, just showing off!"

It was clear she was talking about Victoria and Mira.

By this time, Victoria had packed her things. She didn't want to bother with them, but couldn't help but sneer, "Even if I burned all my money, I wouldn't give a cent to yellow dogs like you."

Natalia slammed the table in anger, "Victoria, who are you calling names?"

Victoria glanced at her coolly, "Whoever's making all that noise. Oh wait, that's not fair to dogs. At least they're loyal. Comparing you to a dog is an insult to dogs."

In her past life, Victoria had been so good to these classmates, helping them buy meals and snacks. When Natalia asked for help, she did her best to assist.

But what did Natalia do? She was easily bought off by Ella with a little benefit; without a hint of shame, she falsely accused Victoria of theft. For such shameless people, why bother being nice?

Mira clapped her hands, "Victoria, you're right. I shouldn't have compared them to shrews earlier. They're just beggar scum, always begging behind Ella, thinking they're so noble. It's actually laughable how they reek and always have filthy mouths!"

Mira waved her hand in front of her nose with a look of disgust, acting very vividly.

Seeing her followers couldn't out-argue Victoria, Ella quickly tried to mediate, "Everyone, stop arguing. Victoria, if you want to join us for lunch, you're welcome too."

She lowered her head, looking a bit hurt. "Even though Victoria has grievances against me, I don't hate her. As long as everyone enjoys the meal, that's all that matters."

Natalia linked arms with Ella, "Ella, you're so kind and generous. I'm just afraid the more you give in, the more others will take advantage."

Lila added, "No wonder there's so much tension today. They're just jealous that we get to go to the Royal Sapphire Bistro. They can't afford it, so they're envious."

Wendy fawned, "Yeah, such an expensive place. Today, we rely on Ella to broaden our horizons."

Victoria couldn't help but laugh, "Ella, you're still as self-righteous as ever."

She then ignored them, slung her bag over her shoulder, and walked out.

Mira looked disdainful, "What a phony. Acting all sweet and innocent when she's actually scheming."

She had seen through Ella during military training. Ella always spoke nicely but was evil-minded actually. She spread rumors that Victoria was jealous of her and framed her, when in fact, she was the one jealous of Victoria's beauty and excellence, constantly smearing Victoria!

"Victoria, wait up. Where are you having lunch?" Mira called out, catching up to Victoria.

Victoria was about to say the cafeteria when her phone rang.

It was Ethan.

Victoria gestured to Mira and answered the call, "What's up?"

"Giving you a chance to treat me," Ethan's cold voice came through.

"Now?"

"Right now, at the Royal Sapphire Bistro."

Victoria raised an eyebrow. Why the Royal Sapphire Bistro again?

Ethan said, "Is it inconvenient? You don't have classes this afternoon."

"How do you know my schedule?"

"It's easy to find out."

Victoria was speechless. 'I wasn't asking if it was easy, but why did you check.' However, remembering the money transfer on WhatsApp, Victoria, who never liked owing anyone money, decided to go.

"Alright, I'm coming."

She hung up and turned to Mira, "Royal Sapphire Bistro, are you coming? My treat."

Mira asked in surprise, "Why the sudden treat? Victoria, you don't have to mind their jealous words. Earning some prize money isn't easy."

She really thought Victoria's family was ordinary. After all, Victoria's high-end custom clothes didn't have obvious logos, and Mira didn't recognize them. She simply thought Victoria's good taste made everything look expensive.

Victoria said calmly, "There are a few people waiting for me to treat them. One more won't matter. Don't worry."

Mira had been speaking up for her these days, and Victoria could feel her sincerity. So she decided to try making a new friend.

Mira hesitated, "But if you treat me to such an expensive meal, I can't reciprocate."

Victoria smiled faintly, "It's okay. You can treat me to a meal at the cafeteria. A meal is a meal, no matter the cost."

Mira was touched, "Victoria, you're so nice, not at all vain like those people. I'll shamelessly join you for lunch then!"

The two of them reached the school gate together.

Mira looked at the route on her phone, "Victoria, should we take a cab?"

At that moment, a low-key luxurious Rolls-Royce stopped in front of them.

Mira marveled, "What a beautiful car! This car could buy a house in a developed city."

The car door opened automatically, and the driver, wearing sunglasses, got out and walked to Victoria, bowing and gesturing, "Ms. Hamilton, please get in."

Mira turned to Victoria in surprise, "Is this your family's luxury car?"

Victoria tilted her head and winked, "Yes, Ms. Collins, aren't you getting in?"

Mira blushed, "You're teasing me. This is my first time in such a luxurious car."

She shyly got into the back seat.

Victoria followed her in.

In the car, Mira couldn't help but touch the interior, "Victoria, this car's texture is so comfortable, soft, and gentle. And your driver is so cool."

She whispered the last part into Victoria's ear.

Victoria said, "Now you're not worried about me treating you and not having money for food, right?"

Mira quickly shook her head, "I was brainwashed by Ella's words before. I didn't realize you're the real heiress, Victoria. No wonder I always felt you had a more noble aura than her."
