The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 107: Subtle Atmosphere
Ethan drifted off for a moment, reminiscing about the first time he met Victoria. It was her hands that had caught his eye.
Not only was she a whiz with computers, but she also picked up chess like it was nothing. She was a rare genius.
"Should I move this piece to the left, or should I capture?" Victoria asked, placing a chess piece on the board.
When Ethan didn't respond, she called out louder, "Ethan?"
Ethan snapped back to reality, his gaze shifting from her fingers to her crimson lips.
Suddenly, he felt parched. Victoria noticed his Adam's apple bobbing and, curious, reached out to touch it.
She laughed, "I've always found it interesting that guys have Adam's apples. Why don't girls have them?"
Her cool fingertips brushed against his warm skin, feeling the hard bump of his Adam's apple.
Ethan's throat tightened, and his large hand completely enveloped her fingers, slowly moving them away. He stared into her eyes, his gaze dropping to her lips.
He wanted to kiss her, to feel those soft lips against his, to suck and nibble until she squirmed and moaned in his arms.
They were face to face, very close. Ethan's eyes burned with intensity as he spoke, and Victoria suddenly understood what he hadn't said. He wanted to kiss her.
Blushing, she pulled her hand back quickly and turned her face away, trying to hide her embarrassment.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were so sensitive," she said.
She had no experience with relationships. In her past life, she had liked Dennis, but he never reciprocated.
She had never dated anyone, so she didn't know that the Adam's apple was a sensitive spot for men.
Ethan picked up his now-cold tea and drank it in one gulp, trying to calm his racing heart.
"Don't touch other men like that, especially their Adam's apples," he said.
Victoria glanced at him and nodded obediently, not saying a word. After a while, she excused herself to get some fresh air and left the lounge.
That night, after her shower, Victoria changed into her pajamas and gently stroked Flora's soft belly.
She suddenly remembered the scene from earlier. Ethan's Adam's apple was hard and protruding, unlike Flora's soft belly, but it was just as warm.
And the way he looked at her, not with his usual calm demeanor, but with a burning desire, like a fire was raging inside him.
So Ethan wasn't always cold; he could be very warm, even hot. Victoria's mind was in turmoil. She rubbed Flora's belly harder, letting out a strange scream.
The little leopard looked up at her, meowing softly as if to ask, "What's gotten into you?"
Victoria and Flora locked eyes, and seeing Flora's confused expression, she burst out laughing. 'Forget it,' she thought, 'I won't think about him anymore.'
But she realized she had been spending a lot of time alone with Ethan lately. She needed to keep her distance.
After all, she had no plans to date in college. She wanted to act in those classic plays, and she needed to focus.
With her goals clear, Victoria set aside her fluttering feelings and fell asleep peacefully.
Meanwhile, Ethan was tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep. He had liked Victoria for a long time, but he had never felt this restless before.
He kept thinking about her delicate fingers, how soft and smooth they felt. Her cheeks must feel just as good, and her lips looked so sweet and full.
'No!' Ethan repeatedly warned himself in his mind, 'I promised Victoria I would give her time. I shouldn't cross the line like this. What if Victoria gets angry and doesn't want to see me anymore?'
Ethan took a cold shower, even though it was late fall and the water was freezing.
Shivering, he finally calmed down. He lay in bed for a long time, feeling dizzy, and finally fell asleep around 4 a.m.
But while he could control himself when awake, he couldn't in his dreams. He was back in the lounge, holding Victoria's hand and pulling her close.
She fell into his arms, her head resting against his abdomen, looking up at him with clear eyes. "Do you want to kiss me?" she asked.
He didn't hold back his desire, pressing his lips to hers, licking and biting, sucking the sweet juices from her mouth.
He pushed his tongue between her lips, chasing hers, one hand gripping her waist, the other holding the back of her head, not letting her escape.
In the dream, Victoria seemed to want to push him away, but also responded passionately.
She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, hooking her fingers behind his neck, smiling like a seductive siren.
But he was willing to be ensnared, even begging her to choose him as her prey.
They kissed until they were both breathless, their chins wet.
Suddenly, Victoria pushed him away, smiling at him.
He frowned in frustration, his eyes full of accusation, but watched as she slowly unbuttoned her shirt, the straps slipping off her shoulders, revealing her full breasts.
Ethan's breath caught, his hands moving uncontrollably to touch her soft breasts, feeling like clouds, warm and with a hint of sweetness.
The next day, Ethan woke up late, his eyelids heavy. He tried to sit up but felt weak all over.
Zara, the maid, came in with some medicine. Seeing him awake, she quickly set down the tray and helped him sit up, worried.
"You didn't come down for breakfast this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were so worried when they found out you were sick. Here, drink this."
Ethan's voice was hoarse. "What time is it?"
"Ten-thirty in the morning. Don't worry, we've already called the school to let them know you're sick," Zara replied.
Ethan nodded and slowly drank the medicine. After a few sips, his mind cleared a bit.
Suddenly, he remembered the absurd dream from last night and choked. He coughed heavily, his face blushing, spilling some of the medicine.
Zara cleaned up, puzzled, and reached out to feel his forehead. 'Didn't Dr. Langley say it wasn't serious? Why does Ethan look like he has a fever?'
Ethan turned his head away, his voice raspy. "I just choked. It's nothing."
After finishing the medicine, Ethan fell back asleep.
