The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 151: You Are Not Welcome
Victoria had just finished a round of dancing and was heading to get a drink. Seeing them discussing something, she asked, "Samuel, what's going on?"
Samuel replied, "Not much, just a speedboat asking for help. I sent him to check it out."
Seeing them talking, Ethan gestured for Nick to turn down the music.
Nick, unsure of what was happening, complied immediately. Everyone soon knew that a speedboat had stopped nearby.
Eric nudged Roy with a grin, "Think it's your siblings from the nearby island coming to find you?"
Roy rolled his eyes, "I have no clue what you're talking about."
Eric put an arm around his shoulder, "You don't want to admit it, but they share the same dad as you."
Ethan looked at the sky and said, "Heading out in a speedboat in this weather? Either they're nuts or they've got a plan."
Samuel nodded and instructed the captain, "Give them food and drinks, but don't let anyone we don't know on board."
"Got it," the captain replied and left.
Nick turned the music back up, inviting everyone to continue the party.
Jasmine, hearing the music pause for a moment, jumped up excitedly, "Finally, they've noticed us!"
She checked her makeup in the light of her phone, ensuring it hadn't smudged.
Her waterproof makeup had held up well despite the rain, making her look even more delicate.
She tidied her wet hair and reapplied her lipstick, ready to meet Samuel in her best form.
But after a while, the music resumed. She was momentarily confused but quickly reassured herself that Samuel must have sent someone to fetch her while the others continued to party.
Sure enough, a speedboat was released from the yacht, with two figures on board heading towards Jasmine.
As the boat approached, Jasmine struck her most alluring pose and smiled, "Is that Mr. Hamilton from the neighboring island? I'm your neighbor Jasmine. Thanks so much for helping me today!"
The captain responded, "Do you know Mr. Hamilton?"
He thought to himself, 'This woman has quite the imagination. Samuel would never come down personally to pick her up. Who does she think she is?'
Jasmine then realized it was two men in ordinary sailor uniforms. She frowned slightly and nudged the driver, Tim, to communicate with them.
Tim explained that he had neglected to fill up the tank before heading out. They ran out of fuel halfway, and with the rain starting, they couldn't wait for fuel delivery from the island. Seeing the nearby yacht, they came to ask for help.
Jasmine added sweetly, "This rain is so cold. Could you let us on board to change clothes?" She assumed any gentleman wouldn't refuse a delicate girl's request.
But the captain coldly replied, "Sorry, our boss doesn't like unknown people on his yacht, especially women."
Jasmine pouted, "I'm not just any woman. I'm the youngest daughter of the Murphy family from Sunhaven. My brother Roy knows Mr. Hamilton. You can ask him. If you leave me in the rain, your boss might blame you later."
The captain thought for a moment and agreed to ask Samuel.
When Samuel heard it was indeed Jasmine, he joked, "Roy, it's really your sister. Should we help her?"
Victoria raised an eyebrow. So it was Jasmine. She wondered why Jasmine had come over in the evening.
Was she bored on the island and looking for excitement? She certainly found it with the storm.
Everyone was curious to see Roy's reaction.
Roy waved dismissively, "Whatever, it's her own fault. I don't acknowledge her as my sister. Let her find her real brother to save her."
Samuel chuckled, "Alright, we'll go with Roy's decision."
The captain was about to deliver the unfortunate news to Jasmine.
At that moment, Ethan checked the weather and said, "Samuel, the latest warning says there will be a storm tonight, lasting a week. We should head back to the island."
Samuel sighed, "The storm was supposed to come in three days, but it's arriving early. Although the 'Dawn Cruise Ship' can handle this weather, it's more comfortable on the island."
Victoria added, "Let's go back while the waves aren't too big. Samuel, does your speedboat have a cover? I don't want to get soaked."
Samuel smiled mysteriously. "Of course, my speedboat is fully enclosed, impervious to the weather. It's been modified to have twice the power of a regular speedboat and three times the maximum speed."
Everyone followed Samuel to the speedboat, but Roy paused, repeating, "A storm?"
He thought for a moment. If Jasmine fell into the water or drowned, Marc would be upset knowing Roy didn't help.
So he said to Samuel, "Samuel, maybe give her some fuel, enough to get back."
Samuel was momentarily surprised, then realized Roy was talking about Jasmine. He nodded, "Sure, no problem."
Samuel went to the control room to release the speedboat and instructed the captain to deliver fuel to Jasmine.
Jasmine excitedly asked, "Did Mr. Hamilton invite me on board after knowing my identity?"
She was already imagining taking hundreds of selfies on the luxurious yacht.
In this stormy night, she would be enjoying herself on the yacht, making her classmates envious.
The captain threw over a rope with a fuel canister tied to the end, "Here's some fuel for you. No need to return it."
Tim gratefully pulled the fuel over and filled the tank. Jasmine, however, was displeased, "What does this mean? Not inviting us on board is so rude."
The captain replied, "Sorry, miss. Our boss says he doesn't know you and doesn't welcome you."
Jasmine's rain-soaked face flushed with anger, but luckily it was dark, so no one could see.
The captain turned back to the yacht. Once Samuel and the others left, the yacht would head to the port. Samuel wouldn't leave it drifting in the sea.
Tim ignored Jasmine's tantrum, filled the tank, and started the speedboat to return to the island.
Jasmine, seeing him turn around, stomped her foot, "Why are you heading back? Crash into them! He's just an employee; why speak to me so rudely?"
Tim didn't respond, just made a sharp turn. The speedboat's jolt made Jasmine fall into her seat.
She grabbed the backrest, fuming, "You disobey me again. I'll have my mom fire you!"
