The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 201: Restore Surveillance

Dena's smile froze. She couldn't believe it and turned to look at Gerald. 

He seemed so composed and dignified, it didn't look like he was lying. Now, she just hoped the security had deleted the footage completely. 

Paul's face turned even more grim; he had been relieved a moment ago, but now he was scared again. 

The elevator arrived, but no one got on. They all returned to the security room.

Meanwhile, Nick was at Dreamlandia playing video games, staring at his phone with a puzzled expression. 

He muttered to himself, "What's up with Victoria? She called me and then suddenly hung up."

Eric shouted, "Nick, move! Are you just standing there on purpose to lose to them?" 

They were playing a team battle, with Nick and Eric on one team, and Ethan and Roy on the other.

Nick quickly put down his phone and picked up the game controller. "I'm here! Victoria just called me."

Ethan glanced at him and asked, "What's going on with her?"

Nick tried to recall, "I don't know. She called me, and as soon as I answered, she hung up, saying she'd call me back later. I think I heard a woman screaming, but it wasn't Victoria."

"I remember now, she's at the Grand Hotel for a birthday party today," Roy chimed in casually, his eyes focused on the game screen until the words "Congratulations, you win!" appeared. 

He put down his controller, fist-bumped Ethan, and shouted happily, "We won! You guys are paying today."

Eric tossed his controller aside and said, "Boring. It's probably Maggie and Willow causing trouble again. Why don't we go check it out?" 

Eric had heard some of the drama when he was dating Lily, and Maggie had just started seeing Paul. He didn't have much connection with Sophie and Willow, so he felt it wasn't his business, just some entertainment.

Ethan stood up, expressionless, and said, "Let's go." If something serious happened, he could help Victoria out.

Nick grinned mischievously, "Didn't expect Ethan to be the most eager among us. First time seeing that." 

Ethan picked up a stress ball from the table and threw it at him. 

Nick dodged skillfully, caught the ball, and said, "Ethan, I was just joking. Why'd you throw that? Okay, okay, I won't say anything more."

The four of them joked around and drove to the Grand Hotel.

In the security room, the head of security opened the door to find a crowd blocking the entrance. 

Seeing it was the same group of women from earlier, he said impatiently, "Stop causing trouble. If there's really an issue, call the police. We'll cooperate if they ask."

Gerald stepped forward and said, "Is this how you treat your guests? Get Atlas here." 

The assistant quickly called Atlas, who was in charge of rooms and security. The security staff knew him well. 

Gerald, on the other hand, rarely interacted with the frontline staff, so they didn't recognize him as their big boss. 

The security team whispered among themselves, wondering who he was. The head of security, now more serious, asked politely, "Sir, who are you?"

Gerald gave him a cold look and didn't respond. 

Soon, Atlas arrived, bowing respectfully to Gerald and greeting him, "Mr. Nguyen!" 

The assistant had briefed him on the situation, so after greeting Gerald, he immediately told the head of security, "Why are you standing there? Get the footage for the guests."

The head of security nodded and asked quietly, "Atlas, who is Mr. Nguyen? We've never seen him before."

Atlas replied disdainfully, "You don't know? Mr. Nguyen is the CEO of our parent company! No wonder you're just a security guard."

The head of security was shocked and quickly ordered the footage to be retrieved. 

But the footage had already been deleted, showing only Willow entering the garden, and then nothing. 

The security guard said with a troubled expression, "Chief, the rest is really gone. I don't know how to fix the footage."

Atlas glanced at Gerald, unsure, and suggested, "Mr. Nguyen, should I contact the manufacturer to repair it? The footage might not be recoverable, but I can have my team help find what the guests are looking for."

Gerald frowned and didn't respond. This matter concerned Willow's reputation, and he didn't want to explain to Atlas. 

At that moment, Victoria hung up on Nick's call and stepped forward, saying, "Let me try. Maybe I can recover it."

The head of security looked at Gerald, saw him nod, and reluctantly said, "Alright, let this Miss try." 

He didn't believe Victoria could actually do it, but he didn't want his authority questioned. 

Even though he was just the head of security, he had a dozen subordinates and held the highest authority in the security room.

Victoria sat at the computer, entered a series of commands, and quickly recovered the deleted footage. "The video was just deleted. I've restored it." 

She clicked on the video. Everyone could see Paul suddenly grabbing Willow's hand. 

Although they couldn't hear what was being said, it was clear Willow was struggling; then Willow walked away, and Paul suddenly rushed up and hugged her.

"See that? Paul was harassing Willow. With this video, Willow could sue him for sexual harassment," Sophie said, rolling her eyes.
