The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 162: Opportunity in Danger

As the Dawn Cruise Ship approached, Tony and Jasmine were busy explaining to the staff that they had contacted their family elders and someone would soon come to take them to a safe island. 

There had been a minor collapse in the basement, but fortunately, no one was hurt. However, no one dared to go down and retrieve anything.

The staff didn't believe them and were all worried about their safety, arguing and calling their families instead of working. 

Jasmine had to cook dinner herself, but luckily, she had always been interested in cooking and was quite good at it.

When the massive Dawn Cruise Ship sailed towards the island, the staff spotted it from afar. 

Despite the rough seas, the huge cruise ship sailed steadily. They cheered, "Mr. Murphy wasn't lying to us!"

Tony breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Look, everyone, the rescue ship is here. Hurry up and pack your things, take whatever you can carry." 

Although he had some authority, he was young and was struggling to control the staff. 

The house had been renovated at great expense by Jessica, and the furniture couldn't be taken. If the island collapsed, all those things would be wasted.

Jasmine clutched her chest with joy. The luxurious cruise ship she had always dreamed of was here to pick her up. 

With tears in her eyes, she said, "Tony, Samuel really came to save us. He's my hero!" 

Although they had used Richard's connections, Jasmine felt that Samuel might genuinely be interested in her. 

Despite her disheveled appearance when they met last night, perhaps it had left a strong impression on him.

As the staff hurried to pack, Jasmine touched up her makeup in her room. She wanted to look perfect when she saw Samuel. 

When they boarded the cruise ship and found that Samuel wasn't there, Jasmine was a bit disappointed. 

Tony comforted her, "Samuel is very busy. The fact that he sent someone to pick us up is already a favor to Dad." 

Jasmine pouted but soon cheered up, taking selfies all over the cruise ship. She posted many photos, pretending she had been invited to the luxurious cruise for fun. 

Ella was the first to like her post, commenting enviously that she had never seen such a luxurious cruise ship.

Jasmine rolled her eyes. 'Of course, you haven't.' 

If it weren't for the danger of the island collapsing, she wouldn't have had the chance to be on this cruise ship. 

Sometimes, greater opportunities come from danger, and only those with the ability can seize them. Clearly, Jasmine was one of those lucky and capable people. 

After showing off, she spent a lot of time choosing an outfit, unsure of what type Samuel liked. 

She finally chose a black cocktail dress that was modest in the front but had a daring open back, safe yet with a hint of allure.

However, her smile froze when she disembarked. She was greeted by three simple shuttle buses, and Samuel was nowhere to be seen! 

The strong sea breeze made Jasmine sneeze loudly. She covered her nose awkwardly and asked, "Where's Mr. Hamilton? Didn't he come?"

The driver replied, "Mr. Hamilton is at the estate. He wouldn't come out in this weather. Please get on the bus. Mr. Hamilton instructed us to take good care of you."

With so many people, they had to squeeze together. The staff, having worked all day, had a noticeable odor. 

Jasmine, covering her nose in disgust, was reluctant to get on the bus. Shivering, she asked, "Do I have to squeeze in with them dressed like this? Isn't there another bus?"

The driver looked at her, almost speechless at her attitude. "Sorry, but in this weather, there are no extra buses on the island. If you don't want to get on, I can take them first and come back for you." 

How could someone being rescued be so picky?

Of course, Jasmine didn't want that. It was almost dark, and leaving her by the sea was like trying to freeze her to death. 

Tony, feeling helpless, pulled her onto the bus. "Jasmine, just bear with it." 

He protected her by seating her by the window. As a guy, he wasn't as delicate as Jasmine.

As the estate came into view, Jasmine's spirits lifted, eager to see Samuel. She checked her makeup in a mirror, feeling her efforts hadn't been in vain. 

However, the bus suddenly turned, and the estate grew distant. 

Jasmine, realizing this, quickly asked, "Where are you taking us? Aren't we visiting Mr. Hamilton at the estate?"

The driver, not looking back, replied calmly, "Mr. Hamilton has arranged for you to stay in a villa halfway up the mountain. You'll be more comfortable there."

Jasmine quickly said, "It's fine, we can stay with the host. I like being around people."

The driver glanced at her in the rearview mirror, his tone impatient. "Miss, we can only follow Mr. Hamilton's orders." 

Jasmine wanted to throw a fit, but Tony squeezed her hand, signaling her to keep a low profile.

After they settled into the villa, the driver returned to report. Samuel asked, "Do they need anything else? Accommodate reasonable requests." 

Since he had promised Richard to help his children, he wanted to ensure they were satisfied to make the favor worthwhile.

The driver thought for a moment and then said, "Ms. Murphy seemed eager to meet you, Mr. Hamilton. She looked disappointed when she found out they'd be staying in the villa halfway up the mountain alone."

Samuel found it odd. He had never met the Murphy family's illegitimate children, so why was she interested in him? Was it just to express gratitude? 

But he had no interest in associating with illegitimate children, so he waved the driver away.
