Jasmine covered her mouth and laughed, "Alright, I'll be waiting for your good news. But don't think I'm gonna go easy on you in the esports tournament. I'm gunning for that championship."

Ella smiled but kept quiet. Inside, she thought, 'I won't go easy on you either. I'm taking that championship!'

Her family background wasn't as good as Jasmine's, and she usually played along with Jasmine in their interactions. But deep down, she believed she was much smarter than Jasmine.

She knew how to keep her ambitions under wraps, unlike Jasmine, who always blurted out whatever was on her mind.

Jasmine was so blunt with Ella because she looked down on her a bit.

Ella was just the daughter of a wealthy businessman from Silvervale, which was nothing compared to the elite families in Sunhaven.

The Scott family couldn't even hold a candle to Jessica's assets and connections, let alone the Murphy family.

Jasmine and Tony were set to inherit most of the Murphy family's fortune, so there was no need to regard someone like Ella as important.

Ella knew Jasmine looked down on her, but it didn't bother her. She was just using Jasmine's connections to climb the social ladder.

So she smiled and said, "Sure, I'm not really competing with you. I'm just in it for fun."

Ella took a moment to message the hacker she had hired: [How's the investigation going?]

Victoria had just gotten home when she saw Ella's message on her secondary account. She chuckled and closed the app without replying.

Let Ella wait. Diana had bought Victoria a room full of new clothes and was urging her to try them on.

Diana had discovered a new fashion brand called "Moonlight" while traveling in Zantria.

The brand had recently gained a lot of attention online and had even been featured in Milan Fashion Week.

Diana didn't care about the brand's popularity; she just loved the designs.

She had bought every new piece and even had some custom-made because she thought Victoria would look great in anything.

Victoria was stunned by the rows of new clothes in the walk-in closet. "Mom, did you buy too much?"

There were clothes in every color, enough to wear two outfits a day for a month. Diana seemed like a shopaholic.

Diana laughed, "But I think you look beautiful in all of them. Don't worry, we have plenty of space, and money isn't an issue. Go try them on; I can't wait to see."

Having such a beautiful daughter, she always wanted to dress her up like a doll, changing outfits and accessories every day.

She regretted not having Victoria at home when she was younger, missing out on all the cute children's clothes.

She was making up for those eighteen years now and couldn't stop buying.

Victoria reluctantly picked an outfit and headed to the fitting room.

When she came out, Diana beamed, "My daughter is so beautiful, even better than the models."

Diana had a great eye for fashion, and these clothes suited Victoria perfectly.

Victoria looked in the mirror, satisfied. The clothes were comfortable and looked great.

But after trying on ten outfits, she was exhausted and plopped down on the couch, pouting, "Thanks, Mom. But trying on clothes is tiring. Can I wear the rest for you over time?"

Diana hugged her and stroked her hair, "Of course, sweetheart. I don't want my precious daughter to be tired. You don't need to thank me. It's my job to give you the best of everything."

Victoria shyly buried her head in Diana's embrace, mumbling, "You're the best, Mom."

Diana's hug was warm and comforting, like a safe fortress. She regretted not finding her biological parents in her previous life.

Thinking of the cold looks from her adoptive parents, the Scotts, and then seeing Diana's loving eyes, Victoria felt her nose tingle and her eyes well up.

She wanted to cherish this family bond forever.

Seeing the tears in Victoria's eyes, Diana patted her back, "Victoria, why are you crying?"

She was worried that Victoria had been mistreated. But the Scotts had raised her for eighteen years, and Diana had no reason to investigate or trouble them.

Victoria hugged Diana tightly, her voice choked with emotion, "It's nothing. I just feel so loved by you, and I love you so much too."

After dinner with the family, David and Samuel went to work, and Diana headed to the theater.

Victoria, still on vacation, went to a high-end internet café near a dessert shop to investigate Ella.

She found out that Ella had attended Embercrest Riverview High School. The name sounded familiar.

In her previous life, when Ella became famous, someone had exposed that Ella was a bully in high school, even causing a classmate to become disabled.

This didn't match Ella's pure and kind image, causing a stir. But the post was quickly deleted, and Ella's studio issued a legal notice, winning the lawsuit.

The poster publicly apologized with a handwritten letter, admitting their false statements had harmed Ella.
