The Inescapable Celibate Heir Chapter 61: Quarrel, Kicked Off the Car

Ella quickly covered the corner of her skirt, her voice breaking with tears, "Victoria, if you didn't want the milk, that's fine. But why did you have to pour it on me? I was just trying to make sure everyone had a good time. What did I do wrong?"

Everyone on the bus turned to look, and the cheerleading captain rushed over, yelling at Victoria. "Ella is always looking out for everyone. How dare you treat her like this!"

Ella, looking hurt, said, "Don't scold Victoria; maybe it was an accident!"

The dance club members also stepped forward to scold Victoria.

"If it was an accident, why didn't she spill it on herself?"

"Right! The snooker club people are so rude! We're here to cheer for them, and they still bully people. How dare they!"

"If it weren't for Ella convincing me, I wouldn't even want to come and cheer for them. What is the snooker club anyway!"

What started as a conflict between Victoria and Ella quickly escalated as the dance club members began to berate the snooker club, with whom they had longstanding issues.

The snooker club members weren't having it.

Someone stood up to retort, "Are you done yet? It's just a bit of spilled milk. It'll dry in no time. Is it worth all this fuss?"

"Yeah, we didn't ask you to come. Winning the league brings glory to the school. You're just there to boost the atmosphere. Do you really think you're that important?"

The argument grew more heated, and the conflict shifted away from Victoria. This wasn't Ella's intention; if things got too bad, Dennis would be unhappy too.

So Ella quickly tried to mediate, "Everyone, stop arguing. I'm fine. The match is about to start, let's not hurt our camaraderie."

But the cheerleading captain was relentless, "No way, she has to apologize, or we refuse to perform!"

Victoria took off her earbuds, sneered, and spoke loudly enough for everyone on the bus to hear, "Ella, I'm warning you, I have no interest in playing the sisterly act with you. If you come near me again, I'll pour it on you again."

"Awesome!"

Many snooker club members thought Victoria was straightforward and cool, and they applauded her.

The dance club members were even angrier.

"Guess who it is, it's Victoria, the second place in the Campus Queen ranking. She lost to Ella, so she bullies her and manipulates guys to speak for her. Feeling proud?"

They attacked Victoria, accusing her of being jealous and unable to tolerate someone prettier than her.

Mira couldn't stand it anymore, "Ella suddenly handed it over with the cap off. If Victoria hadn't reacted quickly, she would have been the one soaked!"

"Do you have proof?"

"I do! I had my camera on and recorded everything!"

Mira had been silent, checking the video to see if it captured the incident. She showed the video to everyone.

After watching, many people looked at Ella with suspicion.

Ella immediately explained, her voice still tearful, "Maybe I didn't hold it steady, but I didn't do it on purpose. Maybe my hands were tired from carrying things. Please believe me!"

Most of the snooker club members knew about the grudge between Victoria and Ella, so they stayed silent.

The dance club members had a good impression of Ella because she always brought gifts and was generous.

Even after seeing the video, they still didn't believe it and insisted that Victoria was scheming and jealous.

Mira was furious, "Don't you know Ella cheated? She gained two thousand votes overnight, and the organizers are investigating!"

This enraged the dance club members.

"What did you say? Can't win the vote, so you accuse us of cheating?"

"The Campus Queen contest has always been dominated by our dance club. I say your snooker club is the one cheating!"

Other snooker club members jumped into the argument, and things got heated real quick.

"What's so great about the dance club? You're just not as pretty as Victoria!"

"If you keep defending Victoria, don't expect us to cheer for you."

"That's hilarious. We don't need your cheers to win!"

"Yeah, it's Victoria's fault. She should get off the bus!"

"Stop!" Dennis, the team leader, finally stepped in as the argument spiraled out of control.

He was sitting in the front passenger seat and turned around, giving everyone a cold stare, finally locking eyes with Ella.

Ella felt a chill run down her spine; it was the first time she'd seen Dennis this mad.

She just wanted everyone to blame Victoria and didn't expect it to blow up like this.

She hadn't realized the two clubs had old grudges that couldn't handle this kind of drama, which only made things worse.

"Dennis..." Ella tried to explain.

But Dennis cut her off and directly told the cheerleading captain, "Please get off the bus."

"Dennis, are you kidding?" the cheerleading captain's eyes widened in surprise.

Dennis had the driver pull over, and everyone realized he wasn't joking.

The dance club members were shocked. Dennis was usually the peacemaker, always smoothing things over between the two clubs. This was the first time he was putting his foot down.

Dennis's gaze darkened as he stared at her, "Since you don't want to, I won't force you."

The cheerleading captain bit her lip and glared at him in disbelief, "Dennis, are you serious? You're kicking all of us off the bus for her?"

Dennis's tone was impatient, "Victoria is our snooker club's competitor. If you want her off the bus, then I'll have to ask you to leave. The important ones in the competition are the players, not the cheerleaders."

With Dennis leading, other club members joined in the chant. "Get off!"

The dance club members felt deeply humiliated as they were kicked off the bus.

"Fine, don't ask us to cheer for you again!" The cheerleading captain threw out a harsh remark and turned to leave.

However, Ella refused to get off, "Dennis, I'm sorry, but I'm not just a cheerleader. I'm also in charge of logistics."

She blinked her eyes, tears welling up, "I promise I won't cause any more trouble!"

Dennis remembered that she was indeed responsible for logistics and might be overwhelmed alone, so he didn't insist on kicking her out.

Ella obediently sat down, but inside, she was full of hatred for Victoria. It was all Victoria's fault for taking her spot in the club. Otherwise, she would be the one being defended today.

She touched her small bag, thinking, 'Just wait, Victoria. I'll make you suffer during the competition. When you lose, let's see if these people will still defend you!'

Victoria pulled down her eye mask, closed her eyes, and smirked.

She thought, 'Ella, are you disappointed? Did you think I would still be eager to prove myself like before? Now I don't need to prove anything. I'm strong enough not to care about irrelevant people.'

As the saying goes, "When you have strength, you don't need to prove yourself; others will defend you."

As the league started, many students were looking forward to Nexus College's cheerleaders because they usually had beautiful girls from the dance club who could perform high-difficulty moves, making it very entertaining.

But there was something peculiar about today. Even as the competition began, Nexus College's cheerleaders were nowhere to be seen.

Brightlight University's players mocked them, "Is Nexus College planning to forfeit this year? Not even sending cheerleaders?"

Brightlight University was renowned for its strong athletic programs and was also their fiercest competitor in snooker matches.
