Mated to alpha triplets at all-boys school Chapter 113
Kaiden pov
Humiliated, completely fucking stripped of pride and ego, that’s what I am. Those fucking assholes did everything in their power to make me feel weak, small and unimportant.
But not for long. Mark my words, not for long.
As I sprint back home, I shift into my wolf to avoid any embarrassment from being seen naked by the whole pack. Yes, wolves don’t have problems being seen naked, but we don’t jog around with our dicks out for everyone to see, there are boundaries we don’t overstep.
Glancing over my shoulder, I realize my eyes are glued to the mate who’s getting away from me all over again. As if she doesn’t know there’s no escaping from me.
As soon as I get back home, I enter in my wolf form to let everyone know I’ll need something I can cover myself with. No way am I going to let my dirty wolf into the bedroom.
Father rushes to me, Gio hot on his heels. Both of them spend an unnecessary amount of time to check if I have any injuries other than the small cut on my neck.
And while these two act like an old pair of chicken, I growl at them. Gio’s eyes meet mine right when I open the mind-link. “Get me something to cover myself with first, and after I shift, we’ll have a serious conversation. You, me and father. Got it?”
Gio nods and steps away to scream at one of the servants. Father, in the meantime, tries to comfort me like I’m a fucking child who needs his support. The fuck, I don’t. I needed it when I was growing up, but he was never there, so I won’t be needing it now either. A little too late for that.
While the whole place turns into pure chaos, I think about my damned mate. The fucking nerve she has to disobey me like that.
For now, I don’t care if they think they have won, because fuck it, they haven’t. This is just a mere battle in a war neither of them could ever win. And I, for one, don’t mind losing a battle if that means I’m winning a war.
And besides, I’m no fool. I have an approx idea where those bears are gathering, I know the territories they roam, like the old fucks they are, they don’t change their ways at all, so following them won’t be hard at all.
Finally, one of the maids rushes in with a big blanket in her hands and offers it to Gio. Ever the bloody gentleman, Gio opens the blanket and shields me from everyone as I shift back and finally, tosses the blanket on my shoulders.
“Let’s sit down in the library,” I offer while eyeing my father and Gio, seriously struggling to keep my temper at bay.
They start walking first, ordering the guards and staff to get back to their responsibilities, including removing the decorations until no one could suspect the ceremony was about to happen at all.
Good, the last thing I need is another reminder that I was so close to my goddamn goal and didn’t get to reach it because a bunch of fucking bears decided to insert themselves where they clearly don’t belong at all. Pisses me the fuck off, seriously.
As soon as we enter the library and Gio locks the door, I drop on the massive couch and let out the growl I’ve been holding for what feels to be hours. “I can’t believe you let them go,” I hiss, aiming all of my anger towards my father.
A fucking coward, that’s what he is. If it were me who stood in his place, I’d let those fuckers butcher him to tiny pieces if needed. I don’t give a shit about anyone who dies, even if it has to be me. That whore had to stay here, no questions asked, no sacrifices too grand.
“I had no other choice. I couldn’t let them kill my only child for some girl. We have all the chances to save your mate from their clutches, but not at the expense of your life,” father argues, adding extra emphasis on his accusatory words.
I roll my eyes. “Great show, father, now all of a fucking sudden, you care about my well-being. You are such a kind and noble man, it makes me sick to think that you’re the idiot who raised me,” I spit back in such a calm and even tone, I know my words won’t piss him off even as much as the tone I’m using will.
He has forgotten that I am his son, I know him better than anyone else does, and therefore, I’m a master at getting under his skin, no matter the situation.
“Kaiden,” he growls and shoots to his feet. “I am your father, not one of your good for nothing friends. Keep that in mind before you decide to disrespect me like that ever again. Have some bloody sense before you go off at me because I won’t tolerate disrespect like this, son or not, you will behave yourself around me.”
As a response, I roll my eyes again. I won’t behave myself for shit until he realizes just how much he has fucked up with me. There’s no way I must tolerate his bullshit if he can’t tolerate mine.
“Yeah, go on, puff out your chest and go all strict daddy on me, father, why don’t you? But no, wait, why don’t you get your shit together and instead of acting like an incompetent fool, you could do something of use and figure out how we are getting my runaway mate back now that you let her escape again.”
This time, my words hit the mark. My father grabs the chair he was sitting on and throws it against the wall. Unusually enough, Gio stands aside and watches, not offering his opinion like he always does.
“I couldn’t let them fucking kill you, Kaiden,” father roars. “I lost your mother, I refuse to lose the last reminder of her that I still have. You hear me, I refuse to let anyone take you from me!”
