Mated to alpha triplets at all-boys school Chapter 194
Everett pov
I look between my brothers and realize that both of them are dead serious. If this were a joke, both Elias and Ethan would have bursted out in laughter by now already.
But, there's nothing. Neither looks amused and both have this weird look of determination in their eyes.
“You got to be shitting me,” I grumble and enter Ethan's bedroom, closing the door behind me.
As I take a seat next to Elias, I still keep an eye on both of their reactions and see no change, which seriously creeps me out.
Ethan is known for being reckless and most times, a little stupid. But Elias? Yeah, this idea is so out of character for him that I'm starting to get worried about his mental health.
“We're not joking,” Ethan finally perks up, realizing the silence has been dragging out for a little too long.
“Yeah,” Elias joins in and clears his throat. “Ethan is telling the truth. We're here to discuss our options and plans about getting Ash here. Wherever she is, we need to find her before the Council does.”
Ethan nods in agreement and I'm left completely lost, trying to pick up the pieces of their stupid ideas.
“Okay, let's start from the beginning then. Why are the two of you thinking about how to ensure the Council won't get to Ash before you do? Call me an idiot, I don't care, but I seriously don't see a reason for those old fools to want to get her. Why would they?”
My brothers roll their eyes at me, acting like I am, in fact, the idiot of the bunch.
Elias slaps a hand on my shoulder, squeezes it and shakes me a little. “Think, Everett, think carefully. If the Council has to choose between what we want and what the king wants, how do you think where their loyalty would remain?”
“I mean you have a point, sure, but after the meeting we had with them just now, I doubt they'll take a risk as grand as this. They understand that touching Ash is basically a death sentence for them.”
Now, Elias and Ethan glare at me like my place is inside a mental asylum. What is wrong with them?
“You can't be fucking serious. I can't believe we're related,” Ethan exclaims.
“Yeah, I wonder how that happens because I find myself struggling to believe we are sharing parents too,” I snap back at him, earning a wide grin from the fucker.
“Enough about bullshit arguments,” Elias jumps in, pinning us both with his serious glance.
Once he makes sure we won't act up, Elias returns his full attention to me and tries to smile. “Partially, you're right. By going against us, they're taking a massive risk. However, there are a few things that we can't control at all. One of them being their ability to hide her. They have all the power in the world to take her and hide her away from us. How could we possibly claim they're committing a crime if we have no proof?”
“Wait,” I furrow my brows. “How can they have her if Ash supposedly is with the bears? Make this make sense, please. Admittedly, I'm completely lost with your logic.”
“How about we come up with a solid plan of action rather than focus on the details that can be explained when we leave the territory, hmm?” Elias offers.
Since I'm not in the position to demand more answers, I take the best I can get and agree. Later, both of them can explain the stuff they agreed upon, but now, I want to know what they have already planned.
Also, I'll have to figure out which is a good moment to bring up Ethan's statement. I still don't understand why he is the one who can share his bed with Ash, not Elias or I.
If it were up to me, I would definitely volunteer my space to her. I'd even change it completely to ensure maximum comfort for her. But those thoughts are what I keep to myself, seeing how Ethan is nearly bouncing on his heels, excitedly imagining the sick scenarios in his head.
“We're getting her out. No matter where she is.” Elias announces, grinning from ear to ear.
I throw him a skeptical look and raise an eyebrow. “And how exactly do we know where she is? At this point, she could be anywhere. In the mountains or even overseas. We don't know.”
Clearly, while coming up with their absolute madness of a plan, both of my brothers forgot to discuss important details because as soon as I bring up her possible whereabouts, they pale.
But of course, in true fashion of my brothers, both recover rather quickly and wave off my worries for good.
“No problem,” Ethan perks up first. “Yeah, as soon as we leave the territory, we'll follow the gossip mill and find her in no time. It'll be easy, trust us.”
I'm not too sure about their idea, for obvious reasons, but since we're talking about Ash and her safety, I give in. Last call for the wagon of crazies, I suppose.
As both of them indulge in passionate discussion about our next step, I just sit aside and listen. Each idea that is tossed out sounds crazier than the previous one, but I don't mind it. It only shows how much they truly care about Ash.
After a couple of minutes, I realize Ethan has started getting dressed as he speaks, finally covering himself up. The last thing I want to experience is a flashback from our childhood, when Ethan insisted clothes were poisonous and kept running around naked, showing off the magic tricks he could do with his dick.
Before my mind can pull me into the void of those emotions, my attention is caught by his statement. “I'm telling you, I like her the most. Otherwise, if you two dicks liked her as much as I do, you'd jerk off with thoughts of her in your mind too.”
