Mated to alpha triplets at all-boys school Chapter 255
Kaiden pov
The night air is sharp and cold, biting at my skin as I move through the shadows. The moon is high, its light casting an eerie glow over the pack’s territory. Every step I take is deliberate, quiet, my ears straining for the faintest sound. I know my father too well. If he hasn’t already sent someone after me, he will soon. He won’t let me slip away unnoticed - not after everything I did.
But I don’t care. I can’t stay here, caged like an animal. If the barrier keeps me locked in, I’ll find another way. I always do.
The thought makes me smirk, though it doesn’t last long. The tension in my chest is too tight. My plan is risky - hell, it’s downright insane - but it’s the only chance I have. Sitting around, waiting for someone else to fix this, isn’t an option anymore. If I can’t leave the territory myself, I’ll find someone who can help me. Someone who has no loyalty to my father, no stake in this kingdom.
The hunters.
They’re ruthless, unpredictable, and dangerous. Everything my father despises. But they’re also efficient, and they hate wolves as much as I hate the people who’ve betrayed me. If I can offer them something they want, something they can’t refuse, they’ll help me. They’ll do what I can’t.
My steps quicken as the plan takes shape in my mind. I know where to find them, or at least where they’ve been spotted recently. It’s risky, venturing so close to the edges of the territory, but I don’t have time to waste.
My father’s warriors will notice my absence soon. They will come and try to drag me back to father’s side, and pretend everything can be fixed. He doesn’t understand. None of them do.
The forest grows darker as I move deeper into the trees, the familiar scents of the pack fade into the crisp, wild air of the outskirts. My magic hums beneath my skin, restless and hungry, a constant reminder of what I am. What I can do. It’s not just a weapon. I am the weapon.
And tonight, I’m going to use it to my advantage. The hunters won’t be able to resist. I’ll offer them something no one else can. Me. Not as an ally. Not as a friend. But as a weapon.
They can use my magic to tear down their enemies, to destroy the wolves they hate so much. I’ll give them everything they need to win their little war, as long as they follow one simple condition.
I want the girl. And I want the Sorrentino triplets’ heads on a plate.
The thought makes my chest tighten with satisfaction, a smile pulling at my lips. Ashley. The girl who’s caused all this chaos. The one who’s turned my father against me, who’s made the triplets think they can stand against me. She’s at the center of it all, whether she knows it or not. And I’m going to make her pay.
My footsteps falter as I reach the edge of the woods, the faint scent of humans cuts through the air, making me sick to my stomach. I pause and scan the darkness for any sign of movement. The hunters are careful, always watching, always waiting. But I know they’re here. They’re always here.
“Come out,” I call, my voice low but firm. “I know you’re watching.”
For a moment, there’s nothing but silence. Then, a figure steps out of the shadows, followed by another. They move like ghosts, their faces hidden beneath dark hoods, their weapons gleaming in the moonlight.
“What do you want, wolf?” One of them asks, his voice sharp, almost like I’m not welcome to their little party over here. Ha.
I let out a slow breath, my hands at my sides. I can feel the weight of their stares. They’re waiting for me to make a mistake, to give them a reason to attack. But I’m not here to fight. “I want to make a deal,” I say, meeting the hunter’s gaze head-on. “Something that benefits us both.”
The second hunter steps closer, his grip tightening on the blade at his side. “And why would we make a deal with you?”
“Because I’m offering you something no one else can,” I reply, my voice steady. “Something you won’t be able to resist.”
The first hunter laughs, mocking me. “And what could a wolf possibly offer us?”
“Me,” I say simply. “My magic. My power. Use me as your weapon. I’ll help you destroy your enemies, tear down every wolf who stands in your way.”
The hunters exchange a glance, their skepticism clear. But I can see the flicker of interest in their eyes, the temptation. They know what I am. They’ve heard the stories, the rumors. They know the kind of destruction I’m capable of.
“And what do you want in return?” The second hunter asks, his voice cautious.
I smile, though it doesn’t reach my eyes. “It’s simple. I want the girl. Ashley Kingston. And I want the Sorrentino triplets dead.”
The hunters fall silent, their expressions unreadable. For a moment, I wonder if I’ve miscalculated, if they’ll turn on me instead. But then, the first hunter steps closer. “You’d betray your own kind?” He asks, his tone laced with disbelief.
“They betrayed me first,” I snap in anger. “My father, the triplets, that girl - they all turned their backs on me. They deserve what’s coming to them.”
The hunter studies me for a long moment, his eyes narrowing. Then, he nods slowly. “We’ll consider your offer.”
I clench my fists, forcing myself to stay calm. “You don’t have much time to consider. My father will send his men after me soon. If you want my help, you need to decide now.”
The second hunter steps forward. “And how do we know you won’t turn on us?”
“Because I don’t care about you,” I reply bluntly. “I don’t care about your war or your hatred for wolves. I care about revenge. And right now, you’re my best chance at getting it.”
The hunters exchange another glance. “Fine,” the first hunter says finally. “We’ll help you. But if you cross us-”
“I won’t,” I cut him off. “As long as you hold up your end of the deal, I’ll hold up mine.”
The hunter nods, a sinister smile tugging at his lips. “Then we have an agreement.”
Relief washes over me, though it’s tinged with the dark satisfaction of knowing what’s to come. The hunters will get what they want. And so will I. Ashley. The triplets. My father. They’ll all pay for what they’ve done, and I’ll make sure of it.
