The first part of the day wasn’t that bad after all. Truth be told, I couldn’t get rid of the feeling that something was about to happen, but by the time lunch time arrived, nothing happened so I relaxed.

Elias barks out a laugh while Ethan shoves Everett off and I stand aside, watching them and still not getting the damn joke. What is going on?

As we sit down at our table and start eating, we don’t engage in more conversations. It almost feels like we’re all having too much on our minds to actually pay attention to each other.. By the time all of us are almost done with our meals, Ethan starts telling stories from their childhood, which actually brightens my mood. Not for long, though.

Sadly, Kaiden clearly has a plan to ruin my life. He strolls inside the lunch hall like he owns the place, scans the crowd until his eyes stop on our table, grins, and strides towards us.
