Werewolf
Sold by my Alpha, bought by my Mate Chapter 115: A very special stone

"No, no, and no. And for no reason will you use your powers to go to hell! To hell, Millie! Do you hear yourself?" I told her as she tried to convince me.
It had been three days since I had arrived. Three days in which my soul had been on edge, completely tormented by the way I had found her.
As far as I could tell, she and the king had been working to further explore their gifts and had seen quite a bit. They kept telling me how successful the process had been. But I was only worried about her.
"Mate, I have seen so many things, things that are going to happen! We know what they are doing. For the first time, we are one step ahead of them. That has to mean something, it can help us all".
Yes, of course, but no one talked about the risks.
"Millie, you bled! You exposed your health. The king himself got sick. But he's an old wolf... you're a human. Powerful, I know. But I can't bear to see you suffer... What if this gets out of hand? If something happens to you, mate...?" I ask, almost pleading, and she approached, standing in front of me.
She was doing everything she could to convince me, of course, because she knew she had me in her hands.
"I promise I'll be careful..."
"No, no, hell no..." I replied.
"Mate..." she said and her eyes were so enchanting that I almost gave in.
"No, Cormac, we have to stay strong," my wolf cried as I held her in my arms.
"I promise you, we'll work something out with the demon... we will obtain the information we need, I'm sure of it. Just give me a chance to do it without exposing you," I said, kissing her. She rested while I went to my, shall we say, newfound favorite activity.
I would love to punch the king in the face, I admit it. He had convinced my mate behind my back, and that was treason to me, though I understood why he did it.
But since I couldn't hurt His Majesty, I use my strength where it was welcome.
"How is our prisoner behaving today? Is he still mute?" I asked Duncan, who had been busy with the damned demon day and night.
It took us a while to figure out what his weakness was, until we accidentally discovered it was something from the cave they came from.
Ava had placed the message next to a rock, and my Beta had kept it with the message. I could almost think that things were beginning to go well... if it weren't for the fact that the damn creature don't speak.
"He's as quiet as a mouse, but you'll see he'll talk soon..." Duncan said, kicking the demon that was tied up or in maximum security, and approached me.
"Constantine, told me it would be ready today. You know... the stone will make a nice and pretty blade," my Beta said with devilish eyes.
Truly, revenge was sweet, and I knew he was doing it for all the harm they had done to us and to the demoness.
"Excellent," I said and approached the creature.
It was, if possible, uglier and more cadaverous. The distance from his brothers and his power sources had really affected him.
"I can't wait to see you sing like a little bird," I said, and soon Constantine appeared victorious.
"You ask for it, gentlemen, and you get what you want," he said, placing a stone knife in my hand. It was small, but immensely valuable.
"Bless your hands and your skills, man"
"It's a strong stone, and special. I have already sent some warriors to the cave to see if they can get something else," he said, and stayed there to watch. Good.
"It will work, I tell you," Duncan said confidently.
"Better... I don't want to see my mate suffer anymore. If anyone has to endure, it's that thing..."
"His Majesty has already asked for your forgiveness in various ways. Neither he nor the Luna wanted to worry you," the advisor said with a sigh.
"Yes, yes," I said with the knife in my fingers and saw the creature tremble.
"That's how I like it... it's in our hands," my satisfied wolf said.
"You won't get anywhere with that," the creature said suddenly, trembling.
"You haven't done anything, and he's already started talking!" Duncan said happily.
"Oh yes... we will achieve many things..." I whispered. I took the demon's hand, and he tried to pull away, but he had nothing else to do.
"Let's see if it's true that you can't feel pain," I said, taking one of his hands.
Slowly, placing the knife in the palm of his hand, he began to squeal. Blood suddenly came out, and I smiled to myself.
"Well, well, and here we doubted you had a rotten heart," Duncan said, and the demon was still screaming.
"Tell us what your plans are..." I said and handed the knife to my friend, who seemed very excited, and he started to tear the weak skin of the screaming creature. A few more times, and he wouldn't say anything until I knew he was on the edge.
"To rule, to take power from everyone..." he muttered when he couldn't stand the pain anymore.
"We know that, worm. What I want to know is how you're going to do it," I said, and Duncan came dangerously close to the demon's eye.
"No, no, please..." he snorted.
"What are your immediate plans?" asked Constantine intently, and as the blood began to flow again, the demon screamed and sweated.
"We want the power of all the Alphas. Only then will we be invincible," he panted.
"And then?"
"Then take the king's power. We will rule the earth and all its creatures. Then even Hell will surrender to us."
"Rule Hell, too?" asked Constantine, surprised.
"Boy, are they ambitious, ambitious worms...tell me why you want my mate?" I asked.
"What mate?" asked the bloody worm.
"Are you serious, demon?" asked Duncan, punching him in the stomach.
"The Luna of the Alpha here. The Luna of River Ash. Small, kind and powerful," Duncan said, punch after punch. The creature snorted.
"The human..."
"Yes, too. My mate... mine!" I screamed, grabbing the demon by the neck.
"She... she's the one with the prophecy... she's the one who will make us win. It's coming for her, they'll always come for her."
"Damn you! You won't get her!" I hit him over and over again, and when he was already weak, the demon said in one of those scary whispers.
"We will get it...and your friend the demoness will help us. She's already helping us...you won't be able to stop us."
