Werewolf
Sold by my Alpha, bought by my Mate Chapter 46: Among demons
Ava
My time alone had been a complete failure. Not only had I been unable to make any progress in getting my talisman back because I had that stupid little vampire, who was as sexy as he was stubborn, glued to my heels, but the others had returned from Red Moon with too much suspicion.
And now I feared the worst, Randall was taking more and more power and my brothers weren't playing around... they were really putting all their cards on the table.
All against my master? What could I do? I was just a demon, powerful and better than them, that's for sure... but I was just one.
What the hell was I supposed to be? If they continued to the end, if Jeremiah or anyone else found out what was going on... I don't know what I would do. I had to protect my master.
Damn it!
I only had one option left that I hadn't tried for obvious reasons, I had to nip this in the bud.
I should have ended the problem from the beginning...but I was too weak or stupid, who would have thought?
I made my way to the place I had never thought to go. Ever since I left hell, I had not wanted to associate with anyone from my place of origin, yet here I was.
The road was just as I had imagined, getting more and more lonely, rocky, and basically empty the closer I got to it.
But look who's here... I heard the voice like a few whispers.
"Yes, it's me... weren't you expecting me? You know very well that you've messed with me, and you're going to pay," I said with an authoritative voice. But I heard what must have been their laughter coming from their rotting bodies.
"Are you coming to threaten us directly... Avalon?"
"Well, yes, although you do not even have the dignity to show yourselves... " I said, stamping my feet.
When I saw them appear, they were some kind of joke. Although my eyes managed to see part of their bodies and their image from before.
"Well, well... there are people who say that hell is no good for anyone. And you went out and looked worse. You are even uglier than I remembered, " I said, and they didn't seem too happy with my comment.
"What? It's truth..." I said.
"I assume you are here to ask us to cancel the deal we made with the Alpha? " They said seriously now.
"No, you maggots... I have come to tell you about the future... The future that will happen to you if you do not stop the rat Alpha..."
"Dear sister..." they said condescendingly.
"No! You listen to me! You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into. If I don't get my talisman back as soon as possible, not only hell will fall upon you, but the entire power of the king..." I said angrily.
"Does that mean... His Majesty knows you don't have your talisman?" They asked me, and they know they have me trapped.
"Don't say I didn't warn you. .... I know you seem to have nothing to lose. Well, you are already quite broken... but believe me, I can still make them suffer... and I'll do anything to finish you off"
"We're not afraid of you... stupid demoness..."
"I swear I will personally destroy your ugly and deformed little bodies... stay out of the castle! Or I will place a curse!"
“You wouldn't dare! You would be out too!” they scream.
“Of course I do!” I said to them and stomped again, causing rocks to fall and scatter everywhere, burying them… for now.
"Weak little worms..." I said, going home.
I was really discouraged. I was afraid that my little life would go into the pit, and as if that weren't enough, all of this would impact in my master and to the people I cherished.
Yes, a demoness had feelings. Even with all my past... there were people I cared about in the castle.
But as soon as I walked down the hallway to my room, I was greeted with little messages on cut-out paper.
The most beautiful demoness... come here this way.
I haven't stopped seeing you since I arrived... I want to do more than just see you, said another.
There is not a single day that I have not thought of you...
Have you thought about me?
Said the next one, and so on, one after the other, getting cheesier and cheesier... and yet it made the dead butterflies I had in my stomach flutter.
When I got to my room, I found him dressed all in black and with a look darker than all his clothes.
What the hell had that man done to me? Not only had my goals failed in his absence, but... I didn't know how he'd managed to make me think of him like crazy, like I'd never thought of anything or anyone before, and that... it threw me off balance.
Now that I saw him, I had the stupid idea that my memory didn't do him justice. The doggy was fucking beautiful, beyond attractive, he was completely sexy, almost magical, as if he wasn't from this world.
I don't know what he had, he wasn't even an Alpha. I walked up to him and felt the attention, this kind of invisible chain that bound me to him.
Moreover, I hadn't been aware of it, but now there was a strange warmth and this connection... it was unrecognizable to me. I didn't know if I wanted to cut it or pull him, pull him to come to me so I could touch him.
He was right, we had seen each other from a distance and we wanted more and more, and it seemed the time had come to do what our eyes and minds had already imagined.
"Did you miss me? I mean, I wanted to give you something to make you miss me... but I wanted to know if it served its purpose..." he said, and I didn't even answer him, but practically threw myself on top of him.
I took his mouth as if there were no tomorrow, and he held me so that we entered the room.
I wanted to touch him madly, my hands seeming to multiply with the simple aim of caressing him, running through him... while he only pressed me against him.
"Yes... I missed you," I confessed.
