Mildred

I dreamed that I was in a nice place, near the mountains, and someone hugged me... I felt so happy.

"My Luna..." a voice whispered in my ear and I woke up.

Asher had given me space. His scent calmed me down and despite his imposing, hostile appearance, he had been kind to me.

How much I wanted to believe in him, in any wolf. But I had spent my life suffering at their hands. And I couldn't forget that he had bought me.

"Good morning, Millie..." he said with a big smile.

In the bathroom, I found bags with jeans, t-shirts, blouses, and dresses, shoes... even underwear. It was soft like cotton and feminine.

He had bought all these things, he had thought of me. Or was it just to win me over?

No one wanted me, and now they were fighting for me to be their mate.

Randall was terrible... What if Asher really wanted me?

I took a quick shower, terrified that he would walk in the bathroom when I was naked, and put on jeans and an oversized t-shirt.

I looked in the mirror, I was a mess.

"You look... beautiful," he said when I left the bathroom. This man must be blind, wants to deceive me or... he is stunned by the supposed bond.

"Let's have breakfast..." he said and offered me his hand, but I didn't take it. He tried to put on his best face, but no doubt all this had hurt him.

And the worst thing was that it hurt me too, just to see him like this. It seemed that the bond affected me.

"You can count on me for anything, Millie. If Randall tries something..." he gave me a small notebook.

It was beautiful, I had never had anything like it, no clothes, no cute things.

I opened it with trembling hands and found a pen. I inevitably wrote him a simple "thank you" and he smiled.

At breakfast, there was Ava, Randall who didn't take his eyes off of me, and another wolf.

"Luna! Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Duncan, the Beta and best friend of this big Alpha..." he said. I heard Randall growl.

Luna... would I really be a Luna? It's crazy!

"It's okay... it's okay. I just wanted to be polite. You can count on me for whatever you need, Luna," Duncan said. I liked something about him, it was fun to see how he interacted with Ava, flirting with her.

I was amazed at how much food there was and started to take a little bit of everything.

"Don't eat so much..." Randall said, as if he wanted to control me.

"Millie can eat as much as she wants...especially since the doctor said she was not being well-fed in her previous pack," Asher said, bringing me more food.

In the afternoon, I went back to the doctor to get some vitamins, and there I heard some wolves outside talking.

"Red Moon is a despicable pack and their alphas," one said.

""Hell yeah! I also don't like the other guest, Asher...he's a wolf known for his violence and brutality. His wolf loves to tear off the heads of his enemies," I heard them say, sending shivers down my spine.

When the doctor went to another office, I took advantage and checked what she had. I saw that there was some kind of knife and also a small package of wolfsbane. I put the substance on the knife and placed the package in my pocket.

Better to be prepared. Besides, tonight... I was with Randall. I trembled like a leaf just thinking about it.

"You're finally here, little dove.... "he said, and I felt trapped in his room.

"Did Asher give you these clothes? He really has a lousy taste," he said.

Within seconds, he was holding me by the waist and running his fingers inside the collar, trying to touch my neck. I guessed that right now, it wasn't such a bad idea to have the collar.

"I think you have a lot of potential, Mildred...and it was my fault that I didn't see it. I'm sorry, okay?" he said, and his hand went into my shirt as I tried to push it away.

"I, Randall, future Alpha of the Red Moon Pack... I take back my rejection. I accept you, Mildred, daughter of Omegas, as my mate and future Luna of my pack," he said, staring at me.

"Do you love me already? Do you feel the desperate desire to be mine?" he said, but I shook my head.

"I've apologized, and I'll be good to you, Mildred... but you have to do your part," he said. I felt his hands on my ass, squeezing.

"Looks like you got a nice ass... between all those bones," he said as I squirmed. He let go of me, seemingly amused by all of this.

"There's no point in resisting, you're going to fall into my hands. All women need a strong man to protect them. I'll take care of you. You'd rather be with a stranger like Asher? Did you see what he did at the bar? How he killed everyone?" he asked me, and boy, I remembered.

All in all, I wasn't convinced he was any worse than Randall.

"Let's go to sleep... you and me here..." he said, showing me his bed. I grabbed one of the bags of clothes Asher gave me, but he threw it on the floor.

"I bought you something much nicer..." he said, showing me, to my horror, what appeared to be a baby doll.

It was see-through, accompanied by a tiny thong.

There was no power in the world that would make me wear that.

"What, you don't like it? I thought women love this shit! I know Asher slept with you separately. Do you think that's all he wants? Do you think he won't jump on you at any moment and touch your little body?" he said threateningly.

How did he know what Asher did?

"Yeah... we're not supposed to fuck you. But do you think that's the only thing that happens between mates? Oh, my sweet virgin! There are plenty of things that can be done that don't involve... fucking you. At least not in the usual style," he said, biting his lip as he touched his crotch.

He didn't want me, and now I´m his toy.

"He wants to possess you... at least, I didn't hide anything from you," he said, stroking my hair.

"Yeah, he skipped the part where he sold me.

"Your hair looks terrible... I think you should get extensions. Now go... change. I know women take too long, I don't understand what all the nonsense is for. If you're not ready in 10 minutes... I'll come in," he said, like it was a joke.

He slapped my butt, and I didn't expect him to tell me twice when I was already freaking out in the bathroom.

I started to look around anxiously and saw that there was a window. I left the water on at the sink and started climbing.

It was a small window, but I thought I could get through. I saw that it led to a garden. I was on the second floor.

When I got out and felt the cold air outside, I didn't think I'd ever felt so happy. I started to descend, holding onto the blocks with my hands. There was a little ledge where I put my feet, and then I went down a pipe.

"Mildred!" he yelled, and it hadn't even been 5 minutes. I got desperate and fell, rolling on the ground.

"Damn bitch!"

I listened as he smashed the window, and my heart was racing. I didn't see anyone nearby.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps, and I fell.
