"You're from Red Moon, and from the smell you bring, it's obvious you've been with him, with Randall, and our enemies…" I confirm.

"Yes, at first I desired to be the Luna of Red Moon, and I approached Randall and also his brother to achieve it. But later I realized it was a big mistake," she said with a sigh.

"How do you explain how you got here and what you're saying about Ava?" I ask her.

The woman named Jessica had come to our doors, and although she seemed very suspicious to me, we had given her shelter, food, and care. She seems week and tired.

Luna Mildred stayed by her side, holding her hand. I think she identified with the woman because of all the things she had been through.

"It was thanks to Ava," she says, and then begins to tell about our enemy's camp, about the demons and Randall, about her friend Jenny, who we believe was the girl we found dead in the attack, about our enemy's allies, and much more.

"You smell like her too..." Duncan says hopefully, thinking about Ava.

I pull everyone aside to hear their opinions on this strange occurrence, our very convenient key informant who seems to have fallen from the sky and gives us information almost as good as Miss Luna's visions.

"I don't trust her," Constantine says.

"I have to agree with the counselor. She's from Red Moon pack, and who's to say she's not here to spy on us and gather information?" I say agitated.

"I think she's a victim. Her testimony matches much of what we know, and I firmly believe that Ava sent her to warn us, it's an unexpected strategy" Mildred says, and the king grumbles.

"I have to agree with my Luna. She helped us, I am convinced. Ava send her to us to help, she almost sacrifices herself" Duncan said.

But I knew he would do anything to agree with the demoness. To be honest, I also trusted her to help us, but this story seemed too perfect.

"Let me talk to her, maybe I can see something, about her past" Mildred said, and we left her alone for a while we watched her from a short distance.

Obviously, the woman is very happy to be with Mildred, and the Luna quickly gains her trust, telling her about the events at the castle and her relationship with Randall.

Apparently, they had never seen each other in the pack before, although that was not surprising considering that Luna had practically lived hidden among the pack.

Mildred is completely hopeful, and when she takes the woman's hand, it's obvious that she's seen something, but she doesn't tell the girl. Finally, she comes back to us.

"What she says is true. Ava did everything she could to come here and bring us information about the demons, their camp, their intentions. Ava... is in trouble," Mildred said worriedly, and provide more information about our enemies.

We have no choice but to take advantage of this opportunity the demoness has given us, which, if true, would be crucial to winning the war.

"So they're preparing and moving, considering different scenarios so we don't know where they're coming from," I say.

"It's a good plan, attacking from all sides and having a plan that can easily mutate. It would make it difficult for Miss to see anything," Constantine says.

"But how do we fight a plan that is not rigid but more flexible and changes like the air?"

"We must be vigilant, placing warriors in all directions, not just where we think they might attack. Expect the unexpected," Duncan says, and that seems like the best idea to me.

"I can concentrate on creating different visions so we can all be alert and stay in touch, paint everything I see" Miss says, and for the first time since we arrived at the castle, she seems really hopeful.

"Luna, you cannot go out... for any reason. You are their goal, you are in absolutely danger, Duncan says, positioning himself protectively.

"The Allies are getting closer. We must also tell them to be vigilant," Constantine said. Jessica was working with us, and it was almost night when Mildred suddenly became agitated.

"What is it, Luna?" Duncan asks worriedly.

"Something is approaching," she says, but instead of being nervous or worried, she is anxious and very excited.

We couldn't control her when she started running towards the door of one of the side gardens.

"Luna!"

We all feared it was the enemy or an improvised attack, even though our sentries told us there was a small approach, but it was still no risk.

My dark and dead heart almost skipped a beat when I saw who appeared. The great Alpha is battered and limping in his wolf form, collapsing to the ground as he enters the gardens. He transforms into a man, holding his ribs, and I see a large wound.

"Mate! Mate!" she runs to meet him and bursts into tears over him, who seems to revive almost immediately.

"Millie... oh mate..." he says, raising his hand and wiping away her tears.

"Urgent medical attention!" I yell as I approach, and together with Duncan we carry him into the castle, the Luna not leaving his side.

"The enemies... are close, the demons..." he tries to explain, but we manage to stun him so that his wolf can heal him.

"My precious and brave Alpha... you're with me at last," she says, snuggling into his arms, and even as he sleeps, he holds her close to his body, and I know they are relieved now, finally complete.

"Sir..." one of the warriors draws my attention.

"A strange fog is approaching. We don't know what it is, but we can't see anything either," the man says, and I immediately call Constantine and Duncan.

Some of the allied Alphas have already arrived, others are on their way with their warriors, and now I fear for everyone's safety.

"What the hell is that?" Alpha Nathaniel appears by my side. Thank goddess he is here.

"I really don't know alpha..." I say as I see a gray fog approaching from the top of the castle, and not even I with my vampire vision can see anything.

"It also seems to cover the scents. I can't hear anything either," Nathaniel says desperately.

"I'll go protect the king and give the order to be on high alert," Constantine says, hurrying away as I feel the castle watching, breathing, waiting.

"Unfortunately, we need to see what the hell this is. Duncan, ask our prisoner and don't let him escape for anything in the world," I say, giving orders.

The demon was still alive and cooperating. But I was afraid he might feel the closeness of his siblings and change his perspective.

Now I approached to the main door, once again facing an enemy, though now it seemed to do so with ignorance.

"May the goddess help me..." I sighed, preparing my weapon, a knife in my other hand, and praying that wisdom and strength would not fail me.
