"The fog has not lifted for hours, not even with the wind, and we have not seen anyone get out" said the king, completely distraught. He was usually a calm man, though visibly bitter, but now he was undoubtedly on edge.

"This is not a normal phenomenon. It was undoubtedly caused by our enemies, but I still don't know how," Duncan said, and the king seemed to have an idea.

"The demons... this must be the work of the demons."

"But how is that possible? We know they have powers, but of this magnitude? Is that possible?" the Beta asked, while I stopped my painting for a moment and watched them.

"They must be getting power from somewhere," Constantine add..

"Exactly... they must be getting it from the Alphas and their allies, that's the only explanation. Those stubborn and foolish Alphas!" said the king, now pacing up and down.

"Is that possible?" I asked, and the king looked at me and then at Jessica.

The she-wolf had been with me, helping me to understand my paintings. Although she and I had our differences, especially over her relationship with Randall and Red Moon, I believed that we needed all the allies we could get in a war.

Besides, she had given us important information and had been very kind to me.

"Ava... always said that a demon on Earth had little power, but it was the alliance with their masters that gave them strength, and in return, she gave me force. In time, they both became very powerful, more powerful than either of them individually," the king explain. I noticed a certain sadness in his tone. Unfortunately, I thought he had not forgiven Ava.

"These bastards must be getting all the power and not giving much in return," Duncan explained, and that seemed to be the case.

"How do we get them to lose their power?" I asked.

"By destroying their allies one by one, although that will be a difficult task as we know they have many," said the king, and suddenly we heard a crash and the floor and walls of the castle shook. Duncan positioned himself protectively next to me.

"What the hell was that?" he asked.

"They're attacking the west side and some of the gates," Constantine said. I didn't know whether to feel safe being here, away from all of this, or worried about being trapped and an easy target if they managed to get into the castle.

"We need to reinforce the entrances," the king said, and Constantine sent more soldiers.

Frankly, they all seemed to be at their limit. I couldn't help thinking that my mate was out there, facing whatever was happening.

"We must clear this fog immediately!" said Constantine, looking out the window, trying to see every detail. Suddenly, we heard screams coming from over there. It was... eerie.

"If a demon is creating it, we need to kill it to end this," the king said, and I saw Duncan getting excited.

"The stone... the stone in the cave that Ava left us! It's an element from hell, and we know it hurts them," he said, happy to finally have the solution.

"But we don't have much left; we used it to make the knife. Maybe we can destroy it," Constantine said.

"Take what you can and try to keep the knife. We may be needing it later. Good idea, Beta," said the king, and now I wondered how we were going to get to the demon. Constantine hurried off to solve that, while the king now concentrated on my paintings.

"Who is that woman?" he asked, pointing to my latest creations, which depicted a woman I had never met. She was small, a little older, and strong.

"I don't know who she is, but from the aura I saw in my visions, she must be a Luna."

"The free wolves," he said, examining the painting. "And these are the remaining of The Renegades" he pointed out.

In the rest of my paintings, there was fire, some kingdom roads being attacked, and also many fire arrows. We heard another crash, and my paintings fell, and I felt like I couldn't breathe.

"Take some water, Luna," Jessica said next to me, and I took it.

"Maybe this woman can help us," I said, because I didn't feel any hostility from her, on the contrary.

"What else do you see, Luna?" the king asked, and I became nervous.

"Here's the bridge that's still standing, and here, I think, is the stone you're talking about," I said, showing a drawing. "I also see a terrible defeat and a woman laughing, and The Renegades burning," I explained, and the king seemed nervous.

I felt like everyone was waiting for me to give them the key to the solution, and I was so nervous and worried that I didn't think I was helping at all.

"Go on, Luna," he said, walking away, and I swallowed hard.

"Don't worry Luna, Ava... always talked about you and trusted you to handle this," Jessica said, taking my hand.

"I don't feel like I'm helping at all..."

"You will, I'm sure. I was locked up in the camp and didn't see much of the allies, only knew their names, and Ava mentioned who could help us. I think that woman must be Luna Simone, she also expects you to help her with her people," the girl said. I didn't understand how I could help her.

"I don't know... if she's allied with those worms, I don't know if we should trust her," Duncan said, and suddenly Jessica looked at him and seemed to remember something.

"It's you... she longed for you, Beta. I didn't understand it, but the few times she slept, I heard her mention 'Duncan, Duncan' in her dreams. She talked about your smile, your face," the wolf said, and the beta smiled ecstatically.

"Is that true?" he asked excitedly.

"Yes, though she never explained who you were, why, and generally denied it," said the girl, but Duncan was still pleased.

And suddenly Constantine appeared.

"Here is the stone..."

"Then let's kill the demon."

Suddenly I felt a scream, although no one seemed to hear anything. And then I felt a terrible pain in my back... I fell to the ground.

"Luna! What's happening?" Duncan shouted.

"She just fell, Luna!" Jessica said stressed, while I crawled from the pain.

"Luna! Luna!"
