Werewolf
Sold by my Alpha, bought by my Mate Chapter 86: Only the strongest wolf survives
Ava
There was a war, an approaching war, specifically led by my brothers. And when the door to the wretched tent opened, I knew my nightmares were just beginning.
"Rise demoness, your masters await you," a rogue appeared and lifted me up, and no matter how hard I fought, he dragged me away like I was nothing. My hands were still tied, and little by little, the chances of me getting out of this were slipping away.
And my situation got worse when I saw who was in front of me.
Randall.
It was all this bastard's fault. If his little brain had thought things through, he wouldn't have dared to ask my brothers for help. But if it hadn't been him, maybe it would have been someone else.
Maybe humans really were destined to make every mistake, to want more than their means, no matter what the cost.
"So she's going to help us?" he said, apparently convinced that I was the solution to all his problems.
It seemed that part of it was because they wanted to use me as a peon on their war. But my brothers turned out to be more evil than I remembered.
Randall was petrified when he saw his father and was told that he had to kill him to take the Alpha's power. Sadly, it was true.
He had never been titled Alpha, the family legacy was in his blood, but the real title was not unimportant.
"But... How can you ask such a thing of me?" he asked, finally seeming to come to his senses.
"It's the only way, Alpha. The only way to have your mate," I heard my brothers manipulating him.
"Son, you couldn't... you wouldn't think of that," the father said, and it didn't help the situation.
"You really are an abomination," I yell at them and take another big hit and bleed again.
"And you really don't learn! do you, demoness? or do you just like to be hit? Do you like to suffer like you do at home?" they whisper to me, and I didn't know how this was going to end. Randall slowly approached his father and the old man started to scream.
"Son, you can't do this, I'm your father, who's always been there for you!" the man said, and I didn't know if he would listen to him or what the relationship was between them, but I know my brothers...no one would get in their way.
"Alpha, your father only ever wanted you to be a backup Alpha. You were never a real son to him, just a simple mistake. A just in case son, he really didn't want you. Remember everything he has done to you...." my brothers whisper and I see Randall's eyes flash. He suddenly takes off his shirt and stands in front of his father, who is being held by the rogues.
"Only a strong man survives, right? Then fight me, prove that you really are an Alpha who can defeat me," he says.
"Randy..."
"Let him go! Fight!" Randall shouts, and the old Alpha is released, leaving him no choice but to face his son.
The old man seems to hesitate, but at the first chance, he lunges at Randall, who quickly defends himself. When he attacks again, Randall hits him in the stomach and falls with a hard blow to the ribs.
"Get up, Father, fight! You love to beat me... don't you? You enjoyed seeing me bleed... Now, fight!" Randall yells him viciously, and the old man attacks again, but within minutes the fight is easily settled.
With a final lunge, the old Alpha falls heavily to the ground so he can't get up, and Randall prepares to finish him off as my brothers look on in satisfaction.
"Come on! Get up! Fight like a fucking Alpha!" Randall yells.
"Randy, don't do it...son," the man says.
Randall came closer to him with hate in his eyes and finishes him off, breaking his neck. His father is dead… and now he is the Alpha.
"A quiet death, Father...you can't complain," he whispers to him, and the power of the father passes to the son, and I am terrified of what is to come.
"Very well done, Randall. You've proven that you have everything we need to win," one of my brothers says.
"Now what's the next step?" he asks, wiping his hands with his father's blood, not caring at all, and that worries me even more, as if something inside him has completely shut down.
"Now we must go to the castle so you can take your mate. The eclipse is approaching and by this time tomorrow she'll be yours," they say.
"She will be in one of the king's secure rooms. I have seen her... painting. Her scent is all over the corridor because she's afraid to choose...she dreams of both alphas. The eclipse will make that choice easier...and we will only have one chance," they whisper.
"All the alpha has to do is go back to the castle, wait for our signal and come back here...we've already prepared your place...where he can finally have her and mark her," another says, and I see the excitement in Randall's eyes.
I can almost see him imagining himself having Little Thing... using her. That bastard!
"How am I going to get her out?" asks Randall.
"Wait... you'll get news..."
"But how? The castle is secured and..."
"There is someone who can get in...and out" they whisper, looking at me and I panic.
"No! No way, I won't!" I scream, flailing, but now the pressure of the talisman in Randall's hands, plus the power of my brothers... I feel it crushing me.
"No... you won't make me do it..." I say, but my brother takes the talisman between his fingers and I scream in pain. I feel my insides explode little by little.
"Oh yes you will, Avalon, what are you afraid of? That your master and friends will see you as a traitor?" he asks, and another one crouches next to me and takes my cheek between his dirty fingers.
"They didn't come looking for you...they don't care about you..." another says, and they finally drop the talisman and Randall puts it back on.
"You want some brotherly advice? Forget about them. You no longer have friends or your king. But you will always have your family... and a new master who will rise as the most powerful in the world” and another adds.
“Kneel Avalon! Kneel to your new master and king!"
