Werewolf
Sold by my Alpha, bought by my Mate Chapter 83: Taking the power

"You must tell me what she said. You're my wolf, you're supposed to be on my side!" I yelled at Balo, but the stupid wolf continued to ignore me.
"Mate wanted to talk to me, not you. You already hurt her many times and besides you beat her, you endangered her life..."
"If you don't want anything to happen to her, you have to tell me what she said," I kept telling him, but there was no way.
My wolf had completely shut me down and locked me out of the conversation he had with my mate before we went back to the castle. I knew that Mildred was a key part of our plans, not only as my mate, and I desperately needed to know what she had said.
But that stupid, stubborn wolf wouldn't tell me anything, and I couldn't make him, because he was inside me and I had no way to force him.
The return to the castle had gone as badly as I thought it would, since she didn't want to see me at all, no matter how many times beg her.
And I didn't know what to do.
The meetings with the Alphas were endless as I tried to get information to talk to my allies. Most of all, I needed them to confirm how the hell we were going to get my mate. The eclipse was approaching, and with it, my hopes were fading.
The castle was under maximum protection, but with all that, there were so many meetings and private gatherings that it was easy to go unnoticed. I managed to sneak out, although the vampire used to follow me.
Our mate was supposed to be alone during the eclipse, but I knew Asher'd take every opportunity to get into her bed, I'm sure he'd force things on her, fool around with her.
That bastard... he smelled like her. I kept thinking about how far he had come, how much he had touched intimately, and I... had accomplished nothing.
To reunite with my allies, I had to go further. I just wanted to get out of here, have the demons tell me what to do, have my mate, and if possible, kill Maximus as soon as possible. But I ran into another scenario.
Waiting for me were Balthazar and the whisperers, who now looked bigger and stronger. I could smell an unpleasant odor coming from them and also silver teeth in their lipless mouths and on their faces that still didn't seem to be fully defined.
Sometimes I wondered if what I had done was right and if I shouldn't have fought for Mildred in a clean game.
"Alright Alpha, tell us what you got out of this council, we need it to plan the next steps," they say and I face them.
"I'm not going to tell you anything," I answered, and I heard small grunts coming from far away, I imagined they were the rogues behind them.
"Alpha, may I remind you that you not only have a deal with us, but you also stand to gain from the defeat of King Maximus.... unfortunately, we cannot move forward without the information you have for us," they whispered to me.
"Well, I am tired of helping and stealing information, risking my life while I see no progress with my mate."
"Alpha, you are the one who made the situation with your mate worse," another whispered to me and I growled. I saw rogues appear at their side with red eyes and despicable appearances.
"Quiet," whispered the taller creature, who now looked like the leader.
"We will help you with your mate..."
"But how? She hates me. How can I make her choose me in so few days ?" I asked. I confess that I was full of doubts and worries.
"She will not choose you," another told me very bluntly.
"What?" I asked in amazement.
"The possibility of the human choosing you as a mate has drastically disappeared. The bond with her ended the moment you marked the she-wolf. The bond was already weak, but now it is simply impossible," they told me and I stuttered.
"So...what am I supposed to keep fighting for?" I ask.
"I said she wouldn't choose you, not that she wouldn't be your Luna. The eclipse is a very powerful moment. And we have until that date for you to mark her and mate her," they say, and even though I am confused, some hope is reborn.
"But how do I do that?"
"We have to take her by force, get her out of the castle, we have to use everything we have in our favor to get her on our side. She will give us the power we need to triumph and confirm the destruction of the king," said one.
Of course, I wanted all of that. But what I wanted most was to mark her and mate with her, just thinking about it could fool even my wolf.
"What do I have to do?"
"We need to create a subtle breach in the castle's security."
"And how the hell are you going to do that? Do you have any idea how much security there is in the castle? Of everything I had to do to get out at all?"
"We know Alpha and for that we need the information from the council. And also... we will have help...," they whispered, and I was shocked when I suddenly saw someone being dragged and thrown to the ground, and it was Ava.
"Demoness..."
"I have to say, I don't appreciate seeing any of these losers here, but least of all you," she said, still haughty and took a punch right in the face that made her bleed. I hadn't even imagined she could bleed.
"So she's going to help us..." I said, finally understanding.
"Only part of it, for the rest we need you to do some things," they said, and it already seemed strange to me that I wasn't the one who had to do everything.
"Why don't you just help me? You're supposed to be demons, right, the most powerful kind! Why the hell do I have to do everything? Can't you just snap your fingers, and we'll get what we need?" I asked, fed up.
"We earned our power. And you have to earn your power t" they said, and I swear they're already getting on my nerves. And I'm amazed to see them bring another person in, and this time it's....
"Dad... What's he doing here? Did you come to support us?"
"Actually, he should have supported you from the beginning, he should have officially given you the Alpha position and since he didn't, you have to take it..." they whisper to me.
"Take it?"
"That's right... you have to kill him, and only then you can become Alpha and have true power. "
