Werewolf
Sold by my Alpha, bought by my Mate Chapter 41: The Luna threat
Mildred
"You're beautiful, my mate... do you have any idea how much I wanted to touch you?" Asher whispered into my ear as he caressed me over my pajamas.
I felt his big, strong hands running all over my body, especially stopping at my breasts, gently massaging and touching my ass and between my legs... and I felt neither fear nor shame, but deep pleasure.
Sometimes he just touched me and other times... I saw him undressing and felt my underwear getting wet, just watching him.
"I want to disappear inside you and lose myself all night long. Only with you... you're perfect," he told me in a hoarse voice.
And then... those strange beings invaded my head. They came like a shadow, swallowing the light and leaving only cold and hopelessness.
"The dreamer sees what is and also what could be," they said, and I woke up.
I was alone in bed and found my T-shirt pulled up even though I was tucked in. I got up and tried to get some fresh air, but I was halfway there when on the balcony of the big room Randall was standing on his back, naked. What the hell was he doing naked? Did he sleep naked with me?
"Yeah, it works great, better than I thought...you were right, fear is a great motivator," he said.
If he was talking to someone, I couldn't see or hear them.
"Yes, I think we can count on them...whatever you say, I'll meet them when the time comes. The age of the true Alphas comes," he said very confidently. I peered a little further and saw nothing, just the darkness of the night.
"The issue of merchandise needs to be resolved, my Beta is looking into it, but it would be very helpful, plus it would buy wills. My father and brother knew about it... a warm body is highly coveted," he said, and I was still lost.
"That went very well too, fortunately no one noticed they were there. I know, I know, I should have controlled them better... but they are the kind of bitches that seem desperate to spread their legs," he said, and I listened in horror.
"Of course..." he said, moving away, and I ran back to the bed and covered myself, not only with the sheets, but with several blankets.
I thought again about the earring Asher had found in my room. What if it belonged to one of the girls here? Not that Randall had ever been a demure, chaste type.
On the contrary, as the Alpha's son, he always did what he wanted. He liked to strut and show off, and girls were dying for him and his brother.
They bragged about sleeping with several of them and treated them disrespectfully.
I didn't blame those girls; for many she-wolves, the best option they had was to curry favor with the Alpha's family, hoping to be their Luna, especially in this oblivious pack.
It was even common for Alphas to have mistresses. All because they didn't have destiny mates; a destiny mate would never do that.
What would become of me then?
But the next morning, preparations were made to leave. The castle had scared me when I arrived, and now I was crazy to go back.
"I want you to have a good memory of the pack... I know unfortunate events have happened...but the past is behind us, and it's the future that counts," Randall said at a small lunch that was supposed to be held in my honor as a farewell.
I just smiled; I couldn't promise anything. I don't know if I could forget those unfortunate events, as he says. Events that traumatized my life.
I had my things all ready to be put in the car when Randall's mother, Luna Brenda, came over to talk to me.
"Mildred... we really did give you special treatment, didn't we? I mean, no human has ever been welcomed like this. You must feel very grateful," she said, looking at me with disgust.
"The King said I had to be here, and I complied," I said.
Grateful? Special treatment?
"Wow... after all we've done for you..." she said indignantly, when the one who should be indignant is me.
"What have you done for me? You have mistreated me, abused me, beaten me, tried to burn me, ruined my home..." I said, holding back my anger.
"You ungrateful child, we saved your life! When your filthy Omega parents died, we didn't know what to do with a human and I myself said you had to stay here!" she said, losing all composure.
"As your servant! As your plaything! And finally, as your slave... you sold me, you delivered me to a bar..." I said angrily, my mouth trembling.
"You think you are so dignified, don't you? But here you are, a poor little human girl between two Alphas? I've never heard such barbarity in my life! You pretend to be innocent, but you're a whore. Surely, you let the killer Alpha fuck you….and he's using you as an object that you don't claim to be. Or do you want to be fucked by both of them? If so... you'll be so used that no one will want to buy you," she said, and I got angry.
"The goddess Luna gave me a mate that was meant for me... for you... just an abusive Alpha with his mistresses..." I said, and she slapped me.
"Listen, scum... I'll tell you the truth, you'd better choose my son, I don't like you at all... but if you don't, shame will fall upon us. The prophecy says that we will be strong! But you have to choose him, is that clear, filth?"
"How dare you?" I said, fighting.
"This Alpha has left our pack without its Alpha? And you support him! You're a degenerate!" she screamed, and I pushed her against the wall.
"Damn you! You'll pay for this with us. You'd better get yourself marked by my son. And pray to the moon goddess that you don't have a weak human bastard... because I swear I'll take care of it with my own hands," she said, and Randall appeared angry.
"Mom, what are you doing?" he said annoyed as I heard growls behind him. Asher, who must be restrained.
"I'm just saying goodbye..." she said, and Randall tried to separate us and make it look like nothing happened.
"This is the last time you speak to me like this, in fact, it's the last time you speak to me. You finished me, you broke my body... but I assure you, you did not break my spirit. And you will not crush me again," I said, pointing my finger at her as she played the victim.
"How dare you talk to me like that?" she replied.
"Enough... let's get out of here," Randall said furiously.
"Something wrong, miss?" asked Constantine.
"This woman is attacking my mate!" shouted Asher in the distance, still roaring.
"I want to go... to the castle, Counselor, I'm ready."
"Of course," Constantine said and led me to the car.
In the distance, I saw a she-wolf, I couldn't remember her name, watching me go and staring at Randall.
I left Red Moon without looking back, praying never to return. But I kept thinking about what she said about the prophecy. What the hell was she talking about?
