"Get the human down! Don't let her climb!" the demons kept shouting as I clung to the wall with all my strength.

I couldn't tell if this was really my body or just a vision, but I had more strength than usual. I was convinced that my human form down in the dungeons, where the king held my hands, couldn't do any of this.

Suddenly, a spear pierced my clothes, tearing them without hurting me. I looked in horror at the winged demon beside me. His eyes were reddish and he resembled a dragon. Something told me that he was extremely ancient and powerful.

"But look at you, human. You're as small as a mosquito! You're no one to defeat us, much less the Whisperers," the demon said, clearly knowing what he was talking about.

I saw his eyes scan the names I now had in front of me. There was no doubt that he knew what I was doing, that I needed those names to defeat the Whisperers. I thought about touching him like I had the other demon, but fear kept me from moving.

"You know them? You know who they are?"

"Of course, they fought against our Lord and were banished for it. But they're not alone; they're not the only ones who think hell needs a change."

Exiled... for treason, they have their own plans, their own agenda.

"A change for you, I suppose?" I asked and he laughed.

"We want more, little one. We want to go to the human world like other demons, but we are not allowed. Why can some demons enjoy the benefits of the human world and we cannot?" he asked, and now I understood that the situation was even worse.

They want to reach the human world, not just The Whisperers, but who knows how many other demons as well. Goddess help me!

"The Whisperers said they would find a way, that there was a prophecy of a Luna of great power, and we all waited for our moment. And now you have arrived, little one," the demon said, and I was horrified.

"I..." I said and he smiled wickedly.

"Yes, you... we weren't expecting you here, but since you're so close, we have to take advantage," the demon said, approaching me and grabbing my arm. I struggled against him, then suddenly struck him with my hand, causing him to scream.

"Maximus! Maximus!" I shouted, hoping the king could hear me.

"Don't let her say the names!" the demons below shouted as the winged demon beside me screamed.

Suddenly I was surrounded by several demons, and I began to read the words before me, even though they made no sense to me. I didn't know if the king could hear me, but it was the only way I could get the message out.

Someone had to hear and understand this, to know how to defeat them, even if I... even if I didn't make it out of here.

"Get her, get her!" the demons kept shouting.

"Baal, Belial, Biel, Bael..." I said loudly and the demons started screaming.

I didn't know if I was doing the right thing, but I had to keep going. I felt several hands grab me, trying to pull me away from the wall, as I continued to struggle.

"Let me go! Let me go!" I screamed desperately as I tried to see the last name.

"Binah, Blas, Baz...!" I said desperately as I felt myself falling into the void.

The noise of the demons was deafening, and I thought half of Hell was gathered against the wall. As I fell in slow motion, I tried to grab hold of something on the wall while watching the demons fly around me like a swarm.

I closed my eyes, afraid I would fall to the ground or into the mass of angry demons, but just as I was about to hit the bottom, a demon caught me. It flew over the others who were screaming and roaring.

"Don't hurt her, we need her alive!" one of them said as the one carrying me grabbed me by the neck and brought me close to his face. I saw his eyes with their black, dilated pupils.

"Maybe we'll take you in pieces," he said. I raised my hand and brought it down on the demon's scaly face, making him scream.

I saw, as I had with the other, an ancient life full of sin. It screamed desperately, and where I touched it, it seemed to disintegrate. I felt his horror, his despair, and that of his victims.

The other demons began to wonder what was happening, screaming, and as I fell again, I was caught by others below, as if they were a wave. I supported myself with my hands, touching as many as I could, and now they were all screaming and yelling.

Everything was chaos. The atmosphere of hell was suffocating and searing. The landscape was a vast desert of fire and shadow, and the screams of the damned echoed incessantly, as if they too knew that something was happening in Hell.

Now they all surrounded me, still screaming, unsure if they should approach me. I realized that perhaps I had some power now. I was in the circle of hell, a human, and they were afraid of me.

"If you don't want me to hurt you, get me out of here. But don't think for a moment that I will allow you to go to the human world!" I said. They showed me their sharp, black, rotten teeth.

"You're not getting out of here, little one, no way," another demon said.

I approached them, and they backed away. A brave demon stepped forward and took my hand, and I touched his forearm. I touched another's face, approached another who came toward me, and suddenly I was surrounded, touching many, feeling their past, present and future, their visions, the worlds and universes outside.

My back hit the monolith and I held on to the screaming demons. It was as if they melted in my hands, as if their souls couldn't take it anymore and exploded.

"Baal, Belial, Biel, Bael, Baz, Binah, Blas!"

I didn't know if those were the names of those who were left. Jeremiah said there might be fewer now, but I had no idea.

"Baal, Belial, Biel, Bael, Baz, Binah, Blas!"

I didn't know the name of the one with us in the dungeons, or if those were really the names of The Whisperers.

"They are..." I heard a voice and clung to it. I saw the wall shake, pieces falling.

This was the end, I knew it, though I didn't know how. I had been to hell many times; the fire, the visions, everything was for this.

"Baal, Belial, Biel, Bael, Baz, Binah, Blas!"

I kept shouting until I felt a current, and I no longer knew where I was, whose hands I was holding, whether I was in the dungeon or the last circle of hell, surrounded by enemies or friends.

I just repeated those words like a mantra until I was exhausted and fell.
