Werewolf
Sold by my Alpha, bought by my Mate Chapter 94: Possibilities
Randall
My tent at the camp was tattered and chaotic, and that was how I felt inside.
Failure had not been one of my options, although there was always a chance that things would not go the way I wanted them to, and that had certainly been my mistake.
"It's all your fault!" I yelled at one of those creatures who had come over to my tent to talk to me... or to watch me, since I had certainly lost control.
"You need to calm down, Alpha," he whispered to me.
"You promised me! You swore I would have her!" I scream at them as I threw and kicked everything.
I had killed my own father, I was now an Alpha, but without Luna. I had betrayed my own pack, I had let them kill Jenny. I had done so many things that I didn't know if I could be forgiven.
For what? For nothing.
"Alpha, we said we would help her get her mate."
"And where is she?" I yelled at them. "Tell me where she is!"
Surely she must be in the arms of that brute, miserable Alpha. She has no choice but to choose him, and he must be between her legs right now, fucking her, marking what's mine!
"You had your chances, you had to take her and get out."
"They had us fooled, don't you get it? She was supposed to be in Asher's room, everything pointed to her being there, but in the end she was very well hidden!"
"We lost communication with her the moment you marked the other she-wolf," they would answer me, of course the fault was all mine!
"You have to fix this! You have to find a solution!”
If Asher has at least one neuron in his head, he will fuck her until he gets her pregnant so he can have an heir and secure everything, is what I would do.
"All is not lost" they whisper.
"How?"
"This war is not lost, Alpha and if we win it, you will always have a chance to have her."
" Killing him..." I muttered.
Of course that was the only option, finish him off so she would be mine, his mark would disappear from her neck and she would have no one else...she would accept me with open arms.
Of course, I disliked the idea of him being with her first, of him being inside her first, but she would be mine somehow, it was better than nothing.
"We can't hurt mate," my wolf say, reappearing after a deep mourning.
I was still angry, but I was paying attention.
And soon after I returned from the failed attempt to get my mate at the castle, I saw that they were arguing with the demoness.
"You helped them, didn't you? Balthazar says you didn't kill anyone, and you did your best not to hurt the king's warriors, do you have any idea what your king must be thinking about you right now?" one of the whisperers said, crouching down in front of her.
The demoness was bleeding, her face all red and scarred, sweat running down her body.
"I told you, I would never harm my master," she replied, receiving a sharp punch in the stomach.
"You really don't understand your place, you don't understand that you have no other choice. What do you think the king will do to you when he finds you? You're a traitor, he must have set alarms to warn to kill you on sight."
"I don't care," she replied, receiving another blow to the face and spit blood.
"Stupid woman! Do you want us to use all our power against you? Because believe me, we will need you. You'll get into the mind of our enemy and keep us informed, you'll tell us if the Dreamer finds out about us," they said, seeming to refer to Mildred.
"Can she really see between dreams?" I asked.
"She has the gift to see beyond, but she doesn't know exactly how to do it yet. We need her, she is the key to winning the war," they explain.
At least I understood that they need her. They will fight as hard as I will, and after they have her, she will be all mine, I will take care of her.
When they're tired of mistreating the demoness, I approach her, of course she doesn't greet me with much enthusiasm.
"Your brothers really hate you, don't they?"
"And what do you care?" she replies. I smile.
"As haughty as ever. You know, I understand you, I also had a brother who, honestly, I'm glad he's dead. I took his place and here I am."
"I'll never help you rat...if that's what you intend,"
"Where are your friends that didn't come to save you?" I ask, looking at her with a smile.
"It's better they're not here..."
"I see, you're a very good friend and loyal supporter, but this will cost you your life, and you know it,"
"I don't care about my life, all I care is His Majesty," she says.
"Maximus doesn't care about you either, he only cares about having power and doing nothing because that's what he's been doing for a while now. He waits for everyone to do their job and only when things get really bad does he remember that he's the King," I tell her.
"You don't know anything..."
"And your brothers are right. You really helped them, or at least you didn't want to attack them. And... I clearly saw the puppy dog eyes the Beta gave you. You're interested in him, aren't you? Who knew, a demon with a heart! You let him do a lot of things to you, didn't you?" I said laughing.
"What do you want, Randall? My situation is bad, but believe me, it's even worse listening to you," she tells me.
I'm still amazed that she hasn't given in to the power of the talisman, she should be my little submissive right now, she really has willpower, I'll give her that.
"I say we form an alliance, what do you say?"
"Alliance?"
"That's right, your brothers are useful up to a certain point, after that they seem to be a problem, and I think that we can get rid of them...," I tell her. I need her, and I'm beginning to understand that she needs me too.
"In the end, we each have our own interests, and I don't see why they have to be so different. Your problem is with your brothers, not with me, I can be your teacher, and we can get along very well... "
