Sofia's Point of View

As I was walking to Layla's room, I bumped into someone. "Oh, are you okay," I asked as I looked at the female I had bumped into. She looked to be around my age, but I had never seen her before. 

Before she could answer, another lady around Stacie's age got in my face. "Watch where you are going," the woman said. She was tall and had long blond hair with grey eyes. She also had a lot of makeup on her face and so did the female I bumped into. The one I bumped into looked to be around my age. I was sure they were related because they looked alike. I was sure the woman was her mother. 

"You don't have to be rude," I said angrily. This lady had no right to disrespect me.

"You don't know who we are, do you? If you did, you wouldn't be speaking to me like that," The older lady said

"I honestly don't care who you are," I replied. The woman was about to say something, but the one I bumped into spoke first.

"Just ignore her mother. I will talk to Ethan about this, and I am sure he will take care of her," the younger female said, causing me to look at her.

"Oh, you think Ethan will take care of me for you?" I said. I was angry, and so was my wolf. 

"Just kill the bitch," My wolf growled. It was getting hard to stay in control of my body. 

"Oh, I know he will. I am his Ma..." she started to say, but her mom cut her off.

"You don't need to answer her, Sweetie. She is probably just a lowlife Omega anyway. Let's just go to Eric's office. I am sure Ethan will be happy to see you ," The older woman said and they started walking toward Eric's office. I followed them to Eric's office and the female around my age looked at me. 

"Why are you following us? I am sure the King doesn't want you up here," she said

"Just ignore her, Amy. Since she doesn't want to listen she will just get punished," the older lady said. Before we could get to Eric's office door it opened. Ethan walked out of the room and his eyes went to mine instantly. 

"Sof, are you okay? I could feel how upset you just were?" Ethan said as he walked over to me. He hadn't even noticed Amy and the other woman as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my lips softly.

"Elizabeth," I heard Tammie say and that caused Ethan to look over at the two women. 

"What are you doing here?" Tammie asked

"We came to visit. You know we have been traveling the world since Eugene passed," the older lady or should I say Elizabeth said. Amy's eyes never left Ethan and me. 

"Ethan," Amy said. 

"Hi, Amy. It has been a while since I have seen you. I would like to introduce you to my mate Sofia," Ethan said, and Amy and Elizabeth both became pale. I couldn't help the smile that came to my face. 

"She's your mate?" Amy asked

"Yes, she is. I am surprised you didn't know from the mark and the fact that she smells just like me," Ethan said as he smiled at me. 

"Oh, we hadn't heard that you had found your mate yet. You know we have been traveling. I wasn't paying attention to her mark, but now I can see it and smell that you two smell like each other," Elizabeth said while Amy still looked pale.

"Yeah, she is the girl Ethan has been in love with since fifth grade. They found out they were mates on his eighteenth birthday," Tammie said

"Oh," Elizabeth said

"Sof, I would like you to meet my aunt Elizabeth and my cousin Amy," Ethan said

"Oh, we met earlier. I didn't know they were your family," I said. I could tell they were worried. I was going to tell him what had happened earlier. 

"Oh, you did? Is that why you were upset?" Ethan asked, and Elizabeth quickly answered before I could.

"There was a bit of a misunderstanding. They had bumped into each other, and your mate got upset," Elizabeth started to say, but I cut her off.

"That is not true. We bumped into each other, and they were upset about it," I replied

"What did they say?" Ethan asked angrily. I could feel through the bond that he was upset, and I was sure he would punish them, family or not if he found out what happened. 

"It's not important," I replied, and Ethan looked at me for a moment before sighing. 

"You don't have to tell me, but I know that you were angry," Ethan said, and then he looked at Elizabeth and Amy. "This will be the last time you make my mate and your future Queen angry. You might be family, but she is my mate and your future queen. You will respect her. Do you understand?" Ethan said

"Yes, we understand. We didn't mean to disrespect her," Elizabeth said, and then she looked at me. "I hope you can forgive us for the misunderstanding," Elizabeth said

"Yes, I forgive you," I replied, and then I looked at Ethan. "I am going to go talk to Layla," I said 

"Okay, My Love," Ethan said and he pulled me into a hug and kissed my lips softly. I didn't miss the way Amy was glaring at me. I knew I would have to watch her. 

I was about to walk away and then I heard Ella's voice. 

"What are they doing here?"
