Sof's Point of View

"There is no way my sister is accepting you, bloodsucker," Ethan said, and then his eyes went to Ella's

"Reject him now," Ethan said, but Ella didn't speak. I knew she couldn't reject King Edward even before I asked her, and she growled at me because I asked if she was going to reject him. There was no way Ella would reject her mate, the one that the Moon Goddess made for her. I knew she had been waiting to meet her mate, and she was sad she didn't meet him on her eighteenth birthday. 

"Ethan, stop," Eric said as he walked over to Ethan and Ethan looked at him

"What do you mean stop, Dad? You can't be okay with this," Ethan said. 

"I don't have time for this childishness. This has nothing to do with you. This is between my mate and me," King Edward said

"She isn't your mate, you bloodsucker," Ethan growled.

"I am trying to stay calm, but you need to watch it, mutt," King Edward said, causing Ethan to growl. Before Ethan could jump at him, I stepped in front of him.

"I SAID STOP," I growled, and that caused them both to look at me. King Edward seemed shocked; I knew it was because he could feel my powerful energy. "You need to stop fighting. This is between King Edward and Ella," I said, and I looked at Ella, who had tears in her eyes. 

"Ella," King Edward whispered as if testing her name on his tongue. 

"Do you want to speak to King Edward?" I asked

"No, I don't want to speak to him, not after everything he's done. Not after he tried to kill all of us. It's obvious he hates us," Ella said  

"You see? I told you," Ethan said happily.

"I don't want to speak to you either, Ethan," Ella said, and she walked away. King Edward was going to follow her, but I stopped him. 

"She needs time," I said. I knew he wanted to follow after her, but he knew I was right

Grandpa Damon walked over to us and shocked me by punching King Edward in the face. I heard all the vampires gasp at what Grandpa Damon did. I was sure they were shocked that he would punch their King. 

"How dare you trick me? You played me and made me believe that you wanted peace, but you really wanted me to bring my granddaughter here so that you could kill her," Grandpa Damon said

"Damon, I..." King Edward started to say, but he was cut off.

"I trusted you. I really believed you wanted to create peace between the werewolves and vampires. You tricked me into helping you become king, didn't you? You didn't mean any of the things you told me about making peace and figuring out a way to make sure there were no more wars. You needed my help to get them here. You knew my granddaughter was the werewolf queen, and you needed me to get her here so that you could kill her," Grandpa Damon said, and King Edward stayed quiet. It looked like he felt sorry for what he did to my grandfather. He felt bad for betraying him.

"Damon, that isn't what I meant to do. I was doing what I had to do. Werewolves have done nothing but hurt us. I am king and as Vampire King have to do everything I can to protect the vampire race. Werewolves are a danger to us all," King Edward said

"Is that really what you think? Do you feel that Werewolves are a danger to us all? You have a werewolf as your beloved. Do you want to kill her too?" Grandpa Damon asked. That caused Ethan, Eric, and King Edward to growl from anger. 

"That is what I thought. You should be ashamed of yourself for using me. I used to think you deserved to be vampire king but now I am worried I might have made a mistake," Grandpa Damon said

"I did what I had to do as King," King Edward said 

"Whatever. I am sorry for everything that happened," Grandpa Damon said

"IT's not your fault, Grandpa but I think it is time for us to go home," I said

"I agree with you. If it is okay, I will go with you. I don't want anything else to happen unexpectantly," Grandpa Damon said

"That is fine," Ethan replied

"Thanks. We should go get your bags and leave," Grandpa Damon said, and we all headed to the rooms where we were going to be staying to gather our belongings. None of us said anything to King Damon. 

When we got to the room, I heard Ella crying. "I will go talk to her," I said, and Ethan nodded before kissing me on my lips quickly. "I will gather our belongings while the two of you talk," Ethan said, and he went to the bedroom where we were going to be staying in to pack

I walked into the room where Ella was upset when I saw that she was sitting on the bed crying.

"Ella," I said 

"I don't want to talk about it. I just want to go home," She said before standing from the bed. "I will pack my bags."
