Sofia's Point of View

"So, what were the three of you talking about before I came outside? I could tell whatever it was must have been funny by how hard you and Blake were laughing," Ella asked. Ella and I were outside waiting for Ethan and King Edward to come back with the spies who were supposed to meet them in King Edward's room. We decided that it would be best for just the two of them to go upstairs so that no one would get suspicious. 

"King Edward just said something that was funny," I replied, and Ella looked at me without saying anything. "So, are you feeling better than you were earlier? You seemed to be very upset," I said

"I don't know Sof. You know what I told you happened when Edward and I went to dinner," Ella said

"Yeah, you ran into some female that he had a past with, and you beat her up," I said

Yeah, that," Ella said, and then she sighed. "You know I told you that the vampire bitch was flirting with him right in front of me. He didn't even tell her that I was his mate, or beloved, or whatever I am supposed to be to him," Ella said

"But you told me he told her to stop," I said

"Yeah, he told her to stop but he never told her who I was. It was liked he was ashamed to tell anyone that I was his mate.  Then, the bitch had the nerve to call me some plain bitch and said that he knew she was the only one who could please him and then I just lost control and beat her ass. I have never felt like that before," Ella said

"Oh, come on, Angela. You and I both know that you have gotten into a few fights before. You have never taken shit from anyone," I said

"That isn't what I am talking about," Ella said

"Then, what are you talking about?" I asked, confused. Ella sighed before speaking.

"I have never felt so much jealousy in my life. I have never felt so much fear. I was worried that she might be right. Maybe I wasn't good enough for him. What if I couldn't satisfy him. I have never been with anyone before, and I know he has been with tons of women. What if I am not experienced enough for him?" Ella said

"So, the reason you are hesitant to give him a chance is not because you think he would hurt you or any of us. It is because you are worried that you are not experienced enough for him, and you are worried he would go back to his old flame or something." I asked

"Yeah, basically," Ella said

"Ella, King Edward thinks that you are worried that he is not being sincere when he says he isn't working with anyone to hurt us. You need to tell him all of this that you told me. I am sure he only wants to be with you. I can tell by the way he looks at you, by the way, he speaks to you. Do you want to try this mate thing out with him?" I asked

"Of course I do. I just don't want to get hurt," Ella replied

"Then you need to tell him that. I am not saying everything will be sunshine and rainbows, but you should do what your heart wants. You should give him a chance if that is what you want to do," I said

"Maybe you are right," Ella said

"I know I am," I replied. A few minutes later Ethan and King Edward walked out of the castle. Three guards were walking behind them with two pack members from the royal kingdom and a woman from the eclipse pack. I didn't know the men but the woman was one of the females that wanted that I knew had a crush on Ethan. "Mandy, you are working with them?" Ella asked with a frown on her face. 

"No, I don't know what's going on. I am not working with anyone," Mandy said but I could tell by her voice that she was lying. 

"Yes, you are and you know it. That is why you came to King Edwards room with these two men.   My dad came to the front of the castle and looked at the two men that the guards were holding. They were in their mid-thirties. 

"So you are the traitors? How could you do this?" My dad asked

"We wouldn't have done it if you didn't make your daughter the ruler. She isn't strong enough to rule the werewolf kingdom," one of the men said

"Well, she has been doing fine so far," My dad said 

"You will take us to where this Mante' is," I said  in my authoritive voice that I knew they wouldn't be able to disobey.

They started walking toward the woods with Ethan, King Edward, Ella, my dad, and Me following behind them. 

It was time we met this Monte' guy.
