Sofia's Point of View

"Everything is in the car. Are you ready to go, My Love?" Ethan  asked

It was Friday night, and Ethan and I were about to leave for the Vampire Kingdom. I was nervous about going there, as I knew some of the vampires wouldn't like werewolves on their territory. 

"Yeah," I said, and Ethan walked over to me, wrapped his arms around my body, and pulled me closer to him. 

"Are you sure you want to do this? We don't have to if you don't want to. How about Don, my dad and I go, and you stay here?" Ethan said

"No, I have to go. It is my responsibility to be there," I said. Ethan stared at me for a moment and then sighed when he realized I wasn't going to change my mind. 

"Okay, but remember not to go anywhere alone, okay?" Ethan said

"Okay," I replied. Ethan and I walked hand in hand to his car. Stacy, Jason, Nick, and my dad were out there waiting for us. Ella was out there as well. I thought she had came to say goodbye but her words shocked me.

"I am going with you," Ella said

"No, you are not," Eric and Ethan said at the same time.

"Yes, I am. I am not a kid anymore, and I want to be there for you and Sof. Plus, I have a weird feeling that I should be there," Ella said. I knew that when Ella had a feeling, it was good to follow it, just like I was supposed to follow mine as well. 

"I think we should let Ella come," I said, and Eric and Ethan looked at me. 

"It's dangerous," Ethan said

"Yeah, but Ella has a feeling, and I feel she needs to follow her instincts," I said

"I agree with Sof," Tammie said. Ethan and Eric knew they had lost the fight when both of us took Ella's side. 

"Fine, but you better stay with one of us," Eric said

"I will, I promise," Ella said

"Okay, let's go," I said, and everyone got in their cars to leave. Ella ended up getting in the backseat of our car. 

"Wait," I looked up to see my mom was coming our way. She was dragging a suitcase. 

"Mom, what are you doing here?" I asked after getting out of the car

"I am coming with you. I want to help if I can," My mom said

"Okay," I replied, and my mom got in the backseat next to Ella. 

"Are you sure letting your mom come with us is a good idea?" Ethan asked

"Yes, I have a feeling it is," I replied, and Ethan started driving. We drove for about five hours and it was one in the morning. We still had about six hours to go before we made it to the Vampire Kingdom. I was tired and wanted to rest in bed. I couldn't stop a yawn from coming, and Ethan's hand tightened on the one he was holding. 

"Are you okay?" Ethan asked

"Yeah, I am just tired," I replied

"I think we should find a hotel so that we can rest. My daughter is pregnant, and she needs to get some sleep," My mom said

"You are right," Ethan said and his eyes did that thing where I knew he was mind linking. I was sure he was mind linking his parents and my dad. It still made me nervous when he did that while driving. I always worried we would get in a crash. 

A hotel came into view a few minutes later, and we pulled into the parking lot. My dad and Ethan's parents did the same thing. We went inside to see if they had any rooms available, and thankfully, they did. 

"We should all get some sleep, and then we will leave around eight in the morning," my dad said

"That sounds good," Ethan replied, and we headed to our rooms. Ethan and I took a shower together. Ethan washed me up, and I did the same to him. We didn't make love; we just washed each other softly before going to sleep. I lay my head on Ethan's chest, and he kissed my head softly. 

"Good night, My Love," Ethan whispered in my ear, and it didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

Ethan's Point of View

I watched Sofia sleeping peacefully in my arms. I kissed the top of her head softly. I didn't want her going to the Vampire Kingdom. She was pregnant with my pups, and I wanted to keep them safe, but I knew she wouldn't let me. She wanted to do everything she could to protect the werewolves. She wanted peace between werewolves and vampires. She was a the true ruler and queen. 

I wanted peace as well. Ever since King Lestat was put to death for his crimes a lot of vampires had been upset with us werewolves. They blamed us. some even said that Sof was his beloved and I stole her from him. They believed that Sof betrayed him which was crazy but I was sure that was what King Lestat had been telling them. 

Since then, our kind and vampires have been fighting. Too many have died because of this and I wanted it to stop. I just didn't think it would be easy to bring peace to the Vampire and Werewolves. The Vampires believed King Lestat tried to do that and got killed because of it. Now they felt we all deserved to be punished. 

My phones rang and I picked it up off the nightstand. Damon was calling. "Hello," I said after answering the phone.

"Hey, I was wondering if you left already," Damon said

"Yeah, we should be there by five in the evening. We had to stop because Sofia needed to rest," I said

"Of course. She is with child," Damon said

"I just hope everything goes okay. You are sure this King Edward wants peace, right? He isn't like King Lestat used to be," I asked.

"I am positive. All he talks about is wanting peace. He is tired of the fighting between our kinds," Damon said. Sof started to move in her sleep, letting me know that if I kept talking, she would wake up. I didn't want to ruin her sleep. 

"I have to go. I will see you tomorrow," I said 

"Goodnight," Damon said, and we ended the call. 

Hopefully Damon was right and this King Edward really wanted peace.
