Sofia's Point of View

Ethan carried me to the vampire kingdom hospital. 

"Do you think it's a good idea for her to have the pups here? The vampires aren't really happy that we are here. What if they try to harm them?" My dad asked worried. I was worried as well because I knew most of the vampires hated that I was a hybrid. 

"No one will hurt them," King Edward said

"I will make sure of it. I won't leave your side, My Love," Ethan said 

There was already someone waiting for us when we got to the hospital. They quickly took me to a room where one of the doctors was already waiting. 

"Hello, My King," the doctor said and I didn't miss the way she smiled seductively at Edward

"The Werewolf Queen is in labor and I need you to make sure she has the pups without any problems. I expect for everything to go great and there to be no problems," Edward said

"You can trust me, King Edward. I will make sure everything goes well. No one will be harmed."

"This is Dr. Marissa. She is a great Doctor and one that I trust," Edward said. I didn't miss how Ella looked at him. I knew she didn't like the way Dr. Marissa was looking at Edward and I was sure she wanted to tear her apart. 

"Oh," I moaned 

"Okay. we have to get started," Dr. Marissa said. Everyone left except for Ethan, my mom, and Ella. 

"I need to check how dilated you are and I will start an IV as well," Dr. Marissa said. She got everything ready and asked if I wanted to use anything for the pain. I told her no . I wanted to have the pups naturally. 

"I can't believe you want to do this without pain medication. You should have asked for an epidural," My  mom said

"It's safer without one, and the babies should come faster because epidurals slow down delivery." I said

"That is only for humans. We don't have to worry about the medicine harming our pups," My mom said

"I will be fine," I said

"Okay, we will see how you are feeling in an hour," My mom said

"Shouldn't I deliver before then?" I asked and my mom laughed

"Hopefully but these things can take hours," my mom said

"I am sure it won't take that long,": Ehta said

"Okay, we will see," My mom replied

One Hour Later

"You are doing so good, Queen Sofia. Just keep breathing. Yeah, push," DR Marissa said 

"You are doing so good, My Love,'" Ethan said

"Shut up, Ethan. I hate you. You are the one that did this to me. You are never going to touch me again," I screamed as I felt another contraction. I heard my mom chuckle but I ignored her. She was right. It had been over an hour and I was still in labor. Not only that, but it hurt like hell. I wished I would have listened to my mom and got an epidural

"You are doing good, Sof," Ella said 

"yes, just keep breathing," My mom said

"Okay, another contraction is about to come. I can see the pups head. I just need you to push hard, Okay? Give it all you got," The doctor said I took a deep breath and pushed as hard as I could.

"Yes, just like that. Good job," Dr, Marissa said and then I heard my baby cry. 

"It's a boy," Dr. Marissa said 

Ethan cut the umbilical cord and one of the nurses took him. 

"Where is she going?" I asked

"She is just checking on the pup to make sure he is fine," Dr. Marissa said. 

"I will go see what they aredoing," My mom said 

"Okay," I replied and my mom walked to the other side of the room where the nurse took my pup. 

I felt another contraction and remembered I wasn't done. There was still another pup. Okay, a contraction is about to come. I need you to push just like you did earlier, Okay," Dr. Marissa said and I did as she said. 

Thirty minutes later

"One more push. Yes, that's it. The baby is almost here," Dr. Marissa said and then I heard another cry. 

"You do so good, Sofia," Ella said

"Yes, you did amazing, My Love," Ethan said

"It's a girl," Dr. Marissa said as Ethan cut the umbilical cord. 

"Aww, they are so cute. I can't believe I am an aunt, now. They are going to be so spoiled," Ella said. 

"You feeling okay?" Ethan asked

"Yes, I am sorry I was so mean to you," I said

"It's okay, Sof. You had a good reason to. You are so strong and I love you," Ethan said

"I love you, too," I replied.
