Ethan's Point of View

"I told you I have nothing to say to you," Linda said. When I got the message from Ryan that his mom was planning on killing Sofia. I had Tabatha teleport me back to the castle immediately, along with Don, Jason, and my dad. When we got in the room I was happy that Ryan had stopped his mom from hurting her. I was also happy that Sofia was able to use her abilities to stop Jane and Lacy. I was so happy the training Tabatha was doing with her was paying off. We hadn't told anyone else that she was working with Tabatha. The only ones who knew were my dad, my mom, Ella, Don, Jason, Nick, and me. 

Now, I was interrogating Linda. I had to figure out where Vera was, and she was the best person to ask, but she refused to talk. My dad had even tried to mind-link her, but it wasn't working. I knew Vera had to give her something that would prevent her from obeying the Alpha Command. 

"Look, Linda. I know you know something. I don't have time to play any games with you. Just tell me what you know," I growled.

"I already told you I am not going to speak. You might as well do whatever it is you plan to do with me and get it over with because I am not going to tell you anything," Linda said slowly. I wanted to rip her head off, but I needed her to tell me what she knew. 

"It doesn't seem like she is going to say anything, son. You need to get out of there before you do something you will regret," My dad mind-linked me.

"I am going to kill her," Replied through the link

"You can't kill her yet, Ethan. We still need to know what she knows," My dad said, and we ended the link. I looked at her to see she was already looking at me.

"Let me guess. You were speaking to Alpha Eric. How are you going to be a good Alpha if you can't make a decision without your daddy's help?" Linda said. I knew she was trying to piss me off, so I decided to listen to my dad and leave the room. I stood from my seat and looked at her. 

"You will tell me everything one way or another," I said and walked to the door. Before I could leave she spoke.

"That is what you think," She said, and I turned to look at her in the eyes.

"It's not what I think. It's what I know," I replied, and I walked out of the room. When I got out of the room, I hit the wall in anger. 

"Calm down, son. We will find her," My dad said

"We should flush whatever Vera gave her out of her system so she can't disobey your alpha command," Nick said

"I agree," Jason said

"It would take too long. We need to find Vera now. Tomorrow is Sofia's birthday, and I don't want her to make an appearance. We need to find her today," I replied. 

"I don't think she is going to speak, son. We need to wash whatever is in her system out, as Nick said. That is the only way we are going to find out what she knows," My dad said, and I sighed.

"Fine, but let me try one more time, and if she doesn't speak, then we will do what you said," I said

"Okay, son," my dad said. I mindlinked the guards to bring Jane into Linda's cell and walked back into her cell. When I walked in, she rolled her eyes at me. 

"I don't know why you are wasting your time. I already told you over a hundred times now that I am not going to tell you anything," Linda said 

"We will see about that," I replied with a smile on my face. Soon, two guards walked into the cell with Jane. One of them handed me a black duffle bag that I had asked them to bring to me.

"Thanks, the two of you can go now," I said. Jane looked scared when they brought her close to me. Her hands were chained to her back. 

"Sit," I said, and she walked over to the bed and sat down. 

"Why did you bring her here?" Linda asked

"Oh, so you expect me to answer your questions, but you won't answer mine?" I said, and I opened the duffle bag and smiled evilly. I picked up a dagger and looked at Jane. "But I will answer your question. You said you won't talk, and I think it is because you don't care about what I do to you. But I have a feeling you care about what happens to her," I said, and I walked over to Jane. Vera and Jane watched my every move. 

"We are going to play a little game. I will ask you a question, and if you don't answer, I will cut one of Jane's fingers off," I said, and Jane sobbed. 

"You wouldn't do that. I have known you since you were a little boy. You don't have it in you to hurt her," Linda said, and I laughed before taking the dagger out and slashing Jane's cheek, causing it to bleed. I could tell Linda was shocked by her facial expression.

"Oh, that's where you're wrong. Your daughter messed with my mate, and anyone who messes with my mate will pay," I said, and then I looked Linda in the eye. 

"Now, are you going to tell me where Vera is?"
