Ethan's Point of View

"Have you found them," Don asked as he walked over to where I was standing with Edward. Tina, Stacie, and my parents were with him. It had been about thirty minutes since Sof and Ella were missing. We had already looked through the mall and there wasn't any sign of them. The trackers said they couldn't even pick up their scent. 

"We have looked all over the mall. We have some warriors checking outside. We were about to head out there to check as well," I said

"Okay, we will help. Sticie, Tina, and Tammie, why don't you take the pups home while we look?" My dad said

"Okay," My mom replied, and they took the pups home. 

"We should all split up," Edward said and we all agreed.

"Sof, Ella," I called as I walked down the streets looking for them. It had been over and hour and there was still no sign of either Sof or Ella. I had a feeling they might not even be in the pack. I decided to head toward the woods. I mind linked my dad and let him know that I was going to take some of the warrior with me into the woods. He told me okay and we ended the mind link. 

"King Ethan, we still can't catch their scent maybe..."

"No, keep looking," I told the tracker. There was no way I was giving up. We walked about thirty more minutes before I caught both Sof and Ella's scent. 

"Dad, I can smell them. They are somewhere close," I mind linked

"Good, son. Edward and I are on our way. We will be there soon," My dad said and we ended the linked

"Sofia, Ella, can you hear me?" I asked as I walked towards their scent. 

"What are you doing here?" I heard a voice that I knew was Dr. Malissa scream.

"I won't let you hurt my sister." I started to run when I heard Ava's voice. A second later, I heard a gunshot, and when I made it to where they were, I was shocked at what I saw. Dr. Malissa was on the ground unconscious. Ava was kneeling in front of Sofia.

"Get away from them," I growled as two guards went over to Ava and held her by her arms.

"You don't understand. I was helping them. I didn't hurt them," Ava said 

"Take her away. Also, take Dr. Malissa away," I said, and the guard did as I said. I walked over to where Sof and Ella were tied to a tree. 

"Ethan. Oh, my," My dad said as he and Edward walked over to where I was standing. I untied Sof while Edward untied Ella. They were both still unconscious as we carried them out of the woods. Don was waiting for us in a car when we came out of the woods. Edward and I got into the car. Sof was in my lap while Ella was in his.  My dad got into the passenger's side seat, and Don took off toward the pack hospital. 

"Dr. Sally. I will be there soon with Ella and Sofia. They are unconscious and I don't know why. I am afraid someone drugged them or something," I mind linked

"Okay, I will have a room ready," Dr. Sally replied through the link

"Okay, also, the warriors should be sending Dr. Malissa there. Ava is back, and she shot her with something," I mind linked

"Okay, I am on it," Dr. Sally replied and we ended the mind link

"What happened?" Edward asked and I told him everything that I saw happen. 

"So Dr. Malissa and Ava were there and Ava shot Dr. Malissa. I told Malissa to stay away from Ella," Edward growled

"Why would Ava shoot her? It's obvious they weren''t working together," Don said. I knew he had a point. Maybe she was trying to save Sofia but I still didn't trust her. 

"I don't know what happened. Ava is not someone we can trust. Not after everything she did," I said

"I agree. We have to figure out what is going on and even if she helped she still needs to be punished for everything she did," My dad said

"I know you are right. I just wish she would have made better choices. Hopefullly this is a sign that she wants to change," Don said. 

"Come with me," one of the nurses said as soon as we walked into the hospital. Edward and I followed. Edward was carrying Ella while I was carrying Sofia. They put them in a room that had two beds inside. Dr. Sally was waiting for us and started to check on them. 

"How are they, Doc?" I asked

"They're vitals are fine, but I am going to run some test to see if some type of drug was used. I also want to start them on an IV. If they have some type of drug in their systems, the fluids will wash it out," Dr Sally said

"Okay," I replied as Dr. Sally got to work
