Sof's Point of View

"Did you find her?" My mom asked. I was in my room with Ella, Tammie, and my mom. My mom had been discharged from the hospital and would be staying with Ethan and me for a few days until she recovered. 

"No, not yet. We found out who helped Queen Gina escape. We have the two guards in a cell, and Eugene is one of them as well. We sent someone to get him," I said

"Eugene the councilman? I knew he was no good," Tammie said.

"I am happy you ended the council. They are always making trouble. It's like they wanted to overrun the kingdom," My mom said. Suddenly, I heard the sirens. 

"Someone is here," I said

"It has to be Queen Gina," my mom said

"I have to go. Stay with the babies," I told Tammie and my mom

"Okay," Tammie said

"No, I am going with you," My mom said

"No, Mom. You are hurt. You have to stay here with the babies," I said. My mom wanted to argue, but she knew I was right.

"Fine, I will stay. Be careful," My mom said

"I will," I replied, and I left. I made my way to the woods. All of the warriors were there looking for whoever trespassed. After a while I saw Ethan and Edward. I made my way to them but then Ethan spoke. I felt someone's presents behind me and was shocked when I turned around to see Queen Gina was standing behind me with a dagger in her hand. Ava was behind her and had stabbed her in the back with a dagger that looked the same as the one Queen Gina was holding. 

Queen Gina turned and looked at Ava who had tears in her eyes. 

"You," Queen Gina started to say  started to say but then became silent

"I won't let you hurt them," Ava said and then Queen Gina fell on the ground unconscious. Ava was crying hysterically. I knew she was sad because she stabbed the woman who raised her. The guards made their way over to where Ava and I were standing in front of Queen Gina's body. They were about to grab Ava but I spoke

"No, just get Queen Gina. I got her," I said

"Yes, Queen Sofia," The guards said and then they took Queen Gina away.

"We can't let Ava get away with everything she has done after everything she did. She must pay like Queen Gina," Edward said

"She saved my life," I said

"So you are just going to let her get away with everything she did?" Edward asked

"No she will still be punished with the same punishment I gave her before Queen Gina took her,"" I said

"You really think she took her against her will. How do we know she wasn't working with Queen Gina and decided to switch sides at the last minute when she realized they wouldn't win?" Edward said

"She could have stabbed me with that dagger but she didn't. I am sure Queen Gina took her. My mom even said it," I said

"Of course, your mom would say that. Ava is her daughter as well," Edward said

"Okay, that is enough. I agree with Sofia. Ava will continue with the same punishment she was supposed to have," Ethan said

"Fine. I am about to leave here anyway. This is your kingdom. But I will never forgive her. If she ever comes on any of the vampire territories, she will be killed on the spot," Edward said before he walked out of the room. I sighed after he left. 

Ethan walked over to me and hugged me tightly. "I know she is changing, Ethan. She could have killed me but decided to save me," I said and Ethan just stayed silent. A guard knocked on the door and we told them to come in. 

"Eugene has arrived." 

"Thanks, take him to a room and we will be there shortly," Ethan said  and the guard left. 

"Let's go confront this asshole," I said and we headed to the interrogation room. I could hear Eugene cussing at the people inside the room as we opened the door. 

"Let me go. You have no right to keep me here. I am the head leader of the werewolf council," Eugene said 

"I don't know if you remember, but the werewolf council no longer exists," I said as Ethan and I walked inside the room. 

"Why am I here?" Eugene asked with a glare on his face.

"I think you know why," I said

"No, I don't," Eugene said

"Stop with the act, Eugene. I need you to tell me why you thought it was okay to betray your king and queen," Ethan said, and I could tell Eugene was getting nervous by his facial expression.

"I... I have no idea what you are talking about."
