Ella's Point of View

Sof and I ended up going back to the party. Even though I had a lot on my mind, I tried to make it seem like everything was good. I was happy that Sof did the same. I played with my niece and nephew. I was happy that everyone else seemed to think everything was okay. It was hard for me to act like everything was fine. I was upset at everyone for keeping all of this from me. Everything was so confusing. I had so many questions. The main one was how could I be mated to a Vampire? Not just any vampire but the Vampire King. All I knew was that I was going to get my answers. I knew Sof was worried about me when I told her that I was going to go to the Vampire Kingdom. I was sure she didn't want me to go, but she knew I wasn't going to change my mind.

"Ella." I looked up to see that my mom was staring at me.

"Yes," I replied

"Are you alright? You haven't been acting like yourself," My mom asked. I wanted to tell her the truth. I wanted to tell her that I was not alright because she and everyone else had been lying to me. I wanted to yell at all of them for keeping things from me, but I kept all of that inside.

"I am fine. I am just tired," I replied

"If you are tired, you should get some rest," My mom said

"I think you are right. I am going to head to my room," I replied. I gave my mom and dad a hug and then walked over to my niece and nephew and gave them a hug as well. After that I went to my room, but I wasn't going up there to rest. I was really going up there to pack and leave. I looked at Sof to see she was already looking at me. She knew about my plan. She knew I was counting on her to help me make sure my plan worked. She nodded, and that let me know that she wasn't going to let me down.

Sof's Point of View

I watched as Ella went to her room. I knew what she was planning. She was planning to go to the Vampire Kingdom to see Edward. I was worried about her but I knew she needed to do this.

"Do you think Ella is doing okay? She seems to be off today."

"I am sure she is fine, Mom. She said she was tired. It has been a long day," Ethan said.

"How did she seem when you talked to her Sof?"

"She seemed fine," I replied not wanting them to know that she knew about King Edward being her mate. That night Ethan and I put the pups to sleep. I watched as they all slept peacefully. I couldn't stop thinking about Ella. She was going to the Vampire Kingdom all alone and that worried me. What if something happened to her on the way? I knew that some of the Vampires were not happy that he had a werewolf as his beloved. I was sure some would want to kill her because of it.

Ethan walked into the room and wrapped his arms around me.

"What's wrong, my love? You seem to be thinking about something. Is it Ella? Are you worried about her? I am sure she will be fine," Ethan said

"You know I never agreed with keeping the truth from her. We were wrong for not telling her. It's like how my mom kept my identity away from me. I always thought I was a human but that wasn't true. You know how that made me feel being lied to," I said

"I know, and it was wrong, but this is different. You know what could happen to Ella if she stayed with Edward. She could become evil. Even Edward agreed That is why he left," Ethan said

"Still, this isn't right. I am sure he would have been able to help make sure that didn't happen. He didn't even try," I said

"I get it. But at least we know Ella is safe and you and I are together with our pups," Ethan said as he kissed me softly. "I love you," Ethan said

"I love you too," I replied.

"I am going to check on my parents. Mom is worried as well," Ethan said

"Okay," I replied, and then he kissed me one last time before leaving

I watched the babies sleep before I figured out I couldn't let Ella do this by herself. I was sure if I left now, I would be able to catch up with her. I wrote Ethan a letter and then kissed my babies on the top of their heads. I knew they would be okay with Ethan and our family. I was sure I wouldn't be gone that long. Just long enough to make sure she gets there safely.

I packed a small bag and then made my way outside.

I walked into the woods hoping I would run into Ella. It took me about thirty minutes to get to the border. Two men were standing there guarding the gate.

"Sof, what are you doing here?" I turned to see Ella standing there.

"I am going to go with you," I said

"What? No. I can't let you do that," Ella said,"

"I am going. I am not going to let you go alone. Now, we have to figure out a way to get past them without them telling Ethan," I said

"That's what I was trying to figure out. I have been here for a while trying to figure out how to get out of here," Ella said

"I have an idea," I rpelied and I closed my eyes. I said some words in my head, and I could feel all the energy coming to me.

"Okay, let's go," I said

"What? Are you sure?" Ella asked

"Yep,' I said, and then we walked over to them. As we walked, the gate opened. We passed the guards without them even seeing us.
