Sofia's Point of View

The day had been great. We partied for hours. Then, Ethan and I decided to head up to our room. I was tired, and so were our pups. They had slept through most of the party.

"Did you notice how Ella seemed upset with Edward?" Ethan asked as we lay in bed. I had noticed it and asked Ella if everything was alright. She told me she would talk to me about it later. I knew she didn't want to talk in front of everyone, and it was a party for Ethan and me. When I told her we could go somewhere private to talk, she told me she didn't want to do that because it was my party and that I should be there. 

"Yeah, I plan on talking to her in the morning about it. I could tell she was upset," I said

"He better not have hurt my sister. I told him I would kill him if he did," Ethan said

"I am sure it will be okay. Don't overthink," I replied and Ethan groaned

"Fine, I won't overreact," Ethan said

"Thank you. Now let's get some sleep. I am tired," I said, and it didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

"I woke up to see Ethan holding Hope. I looked at the bassinet where Ethan Jr was in to see that he was sound asleep. We had woken up a few times through the night to feed and change the pups. I noticed that Hope woke up more than Jr. She cried more than him as well. 

"Hey, how long have you been awake?" I asked as I sat up on the bed

"About an hour now," Ethan said

"You could have woken me up," I said

"You needed the sleep," Ethan said, and then I looked over to see Jr.'s eyes were open. I picked him up and started feeding him since it was time for him to eat. Once I was finished feeding him, I changed his diaper. After putting the babies back to sleep, I took a shower and got ready for the day. 

Ethan had to take care of some business with one of the packs. He didn't want to leave me alone with our babies, but Ella offered to come and help. I wanted to talk to her anyway about what happened between her and King Edward.

"So what happened between Edward and you?" I asked and Ella sighed.

"Did you see the way Dr. Malissa was flirting with Edward at the hospital the day you went into labor?" Ella asked

"YEah," Ir replied

"Well, they hooked up a lot of times," Ella said

"Oh," I said. 

"When he took us to our rooms after we left the hospital that night, he asked me if I would stay with him in his room, and I agreed," Ella said. I just sat silently, waiting for her to finish telling me what she had to say. I knew whatever she was going to say wasn't going to be good. 

"I was going to give myself to him that night. I was ready to but when we got to his room Dr. Melissa was waiting for us in his bed, naked," Ella said.

"What?" I asked

"Yeah, he opened the door and she was there. She looked shocked when she saw me. she asked him what I was doing there and I just left. I didn't know what to say and I wanted to kill her. I ended up staying in the room with my dad. I told him I was uncomfortable staying in the vampire castle alone. I was happy he didn't ask me any questions because I wouldn't know how to answer them."

"I am so sorry, Ella,"  I replied

"I talked to him last night after the party. He came to my room, saying he wanted to explain everything to me. My first question to him was did she normally sleep in his room? I already knew the answer. His door was security locked. You would have to get your fingerprint entered in order for the door to open. She obviously had access to his room. He didn't lie to me. He told me that she had access to his room. He told me that they were never a couple but she was the one woman he slept with on a regular. Anyone else was just a one time thing. He said they had an agreement. No emotions, just sex."

"That's a lot," I said

"I know. I told him that she has feelings for him. I could see it by the way she acted yesterday. He told me that she only saw him as a friend. Turns out they grew up together, meaning they are around the same age. He said they have been best friends since forever."

"How do you feel about that?" I asked

"I know she likes him more than a friend. I told him straight up that I am not sharing him with her or anyone else. If he wants to be with her than he might as well reject me. I am not going to be one of those females that lets another think they have a claim over their mate. Edwward is supposed to be mine and only mine," Ella said then she was quiet for a moment before continuing

"He told me that I was exaggerating and to stop being jealous." 

"What?" I asked shocked

"Yeah," Ella replied

"What did you do?" 

"I smacked him in his face and told him to leave," Ella said with tears in her eyes.

"I am so sorry, Ella," I said, and she sighed

"You are so lucky you're mate waited for you. I had to get stuck with a playboy jackass as a mate. I don't know if this will work. I really thought he cared about me and was changing for me, then this happened. You know he didn't even tell her that I was his mate or beloved, as they call it. Why would he keep that from her?"

I didn't know what to say. It was messed up what Ella was going through, and I only hoped everything worked out for them. If he kept hurting her, I agreed with Edward. I would kill him.
