Sofia's Point of View

Ethan, King Edward, and I walked to Ethan's office. I sat next to Ethan while King Edward sat across from us. 

"So what is it you needed to talk to us about?"Ethan asked

"Monte' Contacted me last night," King Edward said

"What? Why are you just telling us this?" Ethan asked

"I was going to tell you earlier, but you left before I made it downstairs," King Edward replied

"What did he say?" I asked

"He told me that he heard I was in the castle with you and that he was going to send three of his spies to my room to help me," King Edward said

"Help you with what?" I asked

"He believes that I came here to destroy you. I am worried because he told me that he had heard rumors about Ella being my beloved. I told him that wasn't true. I made it seem like I was upset that anyone would say something like that," King Edward said

"Do you think he fell for that?" Ethan asked

"He is sending his men to see me so I am sure he did. He told me that they would meet me in my room tonight so that we can discuss my plan on how I am going to destroy your kingdom. I thought you might want to be waiting when they arrive," King Edward said

"That sounds like a good idea. I would love to figure out who these traitors are," I said. They would be punished for trying to harm my mate and my kingdom with death. "I have one question. You never told me who Monte' is," I said

"Monte is a rogue wolf. He wants the rogues to follow him. He has tried to become the rogue king, but as you know, rogues don't take orders from anyone. That is why he created a group: because he wanted to destroy the werewolf kingdom. He has something against the old king, King Don," King Edward said

"What is his problem with him?" I asked

"I am not sure. I just know he doesn't like him or anyone in the royal family," King Edward said. I thought about what King Edward said and wondered why this Monte' didn't like my dad. I wondered if my dad knew him. Maybe he was the one that turned him into a rogue. A plan came into my head and I looked at King Edward

"Maybe you should have the spies take you to where Monte' is. That way we can find him and bring him in. It woud be nice to figure out why he hates my dad," I said 

"It would be nice to get him," King Edward said

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea," Ethan said

"Good, I will gather some of the warriors to come with us," I said 

"No, you should stay here, Love. You are pregnant," Ethan said and I frowned

"I feel fine," I said

"No, you are pregnant, Sof. You have to be careful," Ethan replied

"You know I will be okay. Werewolf Pregnancy isn't as bad as human pregnancy. I am going," I replied. Ethan looked at me for a while before speaking. 

"Fine, I know I can't change your mind, but I want you to stay with me the entire time, okay?" Ethan said

"Okay, I will," I replied with a smile. I mind linked some of the guards to let them know what was going to happen later on.

"Remember to stay by my side, Love," Ethan said

"I know," I replied. King Edward was staring at us with a blank expression on his face. 

"What?" I asked

"I can't believe you are letting her go," King Edward said

"She would have figure out a way to come anyway. At least she isn't sneaking around and I can keep an eye on her to make sure she is safe," Ethan replied

"I am right here, you know," I said but they didn't reply 

"If it were Ella, I would have told her no, and it would have been the end of that," King Edward said and Ethan and I laughed

"Yeah, right," Ethan said

"That would never happen. You honestly don't know who you are mated to," I said

" I know my woman would listen to me," King Edward said, and Ethan and I broke into laughter. He really didn't know Ella.

"I don't know what's so funny," King Edward said 

"What's going on here? What's so funny?" Ella asked

"You should ask King Edward what's so funny," Ethan said, and a chuckle left his mouth again.

I mind-linked Ella and told her what we were doing. "I am coming with you," Ella said

"No, you are not," King Edward said, and Ella glared at him. Ethan and I stayed silent, watching the scene. I wanted to see who would win. I already knew who it would be, but I wanted King Edward to see who it was mated to. 

"Excuse me? I don't know who you think you are, but you are not the boss of me. I am going," Ella said

"You could get hurt," King Edward said

"Are you calling me weak?" Ella asked angrily

"What? No. I..." King Edward started to say, but Ella cut him off

"Because I am not weak. I am a werewolf, and a very strong one at that. I am Alpha Eric's daughter, and I am going, and nothing you say is going to change that," Ella said, and King Edward sighed.

"Fine," King Edward said

So much for  King Edward, thinking he could control her.
