Ethan's Point of View

I was so worried that Edward was going to kill Dr. Malissa. He had been pissed ever since Sof and Ella went missing. I had been pissed too but I knew how to keep my cool. Edward, not so much. He was ready for blood. That made me happy because I could tell he cared bout my sister. At first I was worried about him and Ella being fated to be together. I honestly wanted them to reject each other, but now I don't. I was happy they were together because I knew he would protect her with his life. 

I was still worried about how everyone else would take it. Since they were fated, that meant Ella would be the vampire queen. I wondered how everyone would take that. I was sure not everyone would like that. There would be many who would question if she was really meant to be a vampire queen since she was a werewolf. I knew my sister was strong, but I still hated thinking about what she might have to deal with. One thing I knew was that I would always be there for her. I would never let anyone harm her, and I was so happy that I knew Edward wouldn't let anyone hurt her either. 

Now here we are in a cell, and Edward is torturing Dr. Malissa. I didn't care that he was hurting her. I wanted to hurt her as well. I just didn't want him to kill her until we found out that truth. It seemed Dr. Malissa wasn't trying to talk. She kept telling us she didn't have anything to do with what was going on and that Ava had set her up, but I wasn't stupid. I knew she had something to do with it. 

"Fine, I will talk," She said after Edward grabbed her by the neck and pushed her against a wall. He threw her to the ground and told her to talk. 

"Why did you do this? Why would you kidnap my mate and sister?" I asked

"Because I am in love with King Edward," Dr. Malissa said. That didn't shock me, and it didn't look like it shocked Edward either. I am sure we both knew that was her reason. "I have always loved you, King Edward. We have known each other since we were kids. I know you love me too. I am the only woman you let sleep in your room. I even had access to your room. I knew you were going to make me your chosen beloved. But then that bitch showed up."  Right after those words left her mouth, Edward had his hand around her neck again. His eyes were red, his claws and fangs were out. 

"Watch what you say about my beloved. You better tell us everything before I lose my patience," Edward said

"I told you I did it because I love you. You are supposed to be mine. I was so upset after leaving the restaurant you and Ella left me at that when Ava and that older witch showed up I thought it would be a good idea to work with them,"' Dr. Malissa said

"So you are saying Ava had something to do with this?" I asked 

"Yes, she did," Dr. Malissa said. I could tell she was upset by her facial expression. "They told me that all I had to do was kidnap them and they would do the rest. But then that bitch turned on me and shot me," Dr. Malissa said

"Are you telling the truth? Ava is behind this. You know, she said that this was your idea  and that she was just passing by," I said

"What? NO that is not true. The woman she was with gave me the potion. They said all I had to do was give them the potion and she would make sure neither of them came back but Ava turned on me," Dr. Malissa said. I was sure Dr. Malissa was telling the truth. I was sure Ava was involved but trying to play us into thinking she was helping us. I already had a feeling she was lying when she said she just happened to pass by on the way to apologize. It was just too convenient. 

"Is that all?" I asked

"Yes, I promise, I just wanted Ella gone so that I could be with King Edward. I didn't have a problem with the Hybrid queen. I just love you so much, Edward. I know you love me too. You are just confused because of the soulmate bond."

"Oh, is that what you think?" Edward asked calmly. Way too calmly.

"Y yes, King Edward. Remember everything we have been through together. I love you and I know you love me too," Dr. Malissa said

"Well, I can assure you that you are wrong. You really shouldn't have fuck with my beloved," Edward said and then he put his claws through her chest and pulled out her heart.
