Sof's Point of View

I woke up in Ethan's arms. My head was on his chest, and his arms were wrapped around my body protectively. He made sure not to touch my arm that had the IV in it. I tried to sit up but Ethan's hold on me tightened. 

"Good morning, My Love. How are you feeling?" Ethan asked

"I feel okay, but my head still hurts a little," I said

"I will go tell Dr. Sally so you can get some medicine," Ethan said

"I am fine. It doesn't hurt that bad," I replied. 

"Okay," Ethan said and then Dr. Sally walked inside. 

"Good morning, my King and Queen."

"Good morning," I said

"Good morning, Dr. Sally," Ethan said

"All your tests have come back, and everything seems fine now. It seems the antidote worked," Dr. Sally said

"That's good. Does that mean I can go home now?" I asked

"I want to run some more labs just to make sure we didn't miss anything. As long as those tests come back normal, you are free to go. The results won't take more than an hour to get back," Dr. Sally said

"Okay," I replied. A nurse came in and took some blood and we waited for the results. 

"I am so happy I can go home after these results come back. I miss Jr. and Hope," I said

"I know, My Love. I can't wait until we can get out of here either," Ethan said

"We have a lot to do. We have to figure out everything with Ava. Something still seems off to me. I still don't get why she would come back and save Ella and me after she tried to come between us. Has Malissa woken up yet?" I asked and Ethan started to frown. That let me know something was up. What's wrong?" I asked

" There's something I need to tell you. Malissa woke up last night," Ethan said

"Good we need to talk to her after we leave here," I said. I was happy she was up. Now we could get the answers we need. 

"You can't talk to her. Edward and I already did," Ethan said

"Why can't I talk to her?" I asked

Because she is dead," Ethan said and I stayed silent. "After we spoke to her last night Edward killed her. She, um, had a lot of terrible things to say and to be honest if Edward hadn't killed her I would have," Ethan said. 

"Okay, what did she say?" I asked and Ethan told me everything. I wasn't shocked when he told me that Ava had something to do with her kidnapping us. It did piss me off though.

"Why would Ava do that and think she could get away with it. She should have known Malissa would talk," I said

"I think her plan was to kill Malissa but Malissa made it," Ethan said

"Where is Ava not?" I asked

"She is still in that room with guards around her. Edward and I haven't went to see her. He wanted to go and talk to her after we had finished speaking to Malissa but I told him we needed to wait until you woke up. I didn't want him to lose his control and kill her, too. She is your sister and I feel that is your call to make," Ethan said.

"Thank you. I would like to talk to her,"  I said.  There was a knock on the door and my mom walked inside. 

"Hey, I thought you two might be hungry so I brought some food," My mom said

"Thanks! I am starving," I said. My mom stayed and we all ate together. Ethan told her everything he told me about Ava. I knew she was upset about it all and hurt as well. I knew my mom wanted a relationship with Ava just like I did but there was no way that was going to happen. Not after everything she'd done. 

"The results came back normal. You are free to go after signing the discharge papers," Dr. Sally said

"Great!" I replied

"I will go sign those," Ethan said and he left. Once they were signed Ella and I were discharged at the same time. Her tests had come back normal as well. She already knew everything that happened and I could tell she was upset when we got into the car. 

"I can't believe that bitch would do that. I should have been the one to kill her," Ava said on the way home

"I know you are pissed, Mon Amoura. You don't have to worry about her anymore," Edward said as he wrapped his arm around her and she lay her head on his shoulder. I smiled seeing that. I was happy they were getting along, and it seemed Ella was starting to really trust Edward. I could tell he cared about her and would do anything for her. 

When we got home, I went to see my babies. I was so happy to see they were okay. I was so worried when I woke up in the hospital. The last thing I remembered before I passed out was that they were with me when Malissa came into the bathroom. I was worried she might have hurt them. I was so relieved when I found out Ethan got to them before anyone else could have. 

After this, I promised myself I would make sure my babies never went through anything like that again. I would protect them with everything I had and I knew Ethan would do the same.
