Ethan's Point of View

"Why have they not woken up yet?" Edward asked in frustration. I could tell he was worried, and so was I. Sof and Ella had been unconscious for over two hours. Dr. Sally still hadn't figured out what type of poison was used. She kept saying they could wake up at any minute now. She had been saying that for over an hour, but they were both still passed out. 

"They will wake up soon. I believe this is their body's way of healing," Dr. Sally replied

"You believe but you are not one hundred percent sure," Edward replied 

"Fuck this," Edward said and he got up from his seat. 

"Where are you going?" I asked

"To talk to Ava. She is the only one who knows what's going on and if there is something we need to do in order for them to wake up," Edward said. Dr. Malissa was still unconscious, but Ava was in an interrogation room.

I looked at my parents, Don, and Stacie. Nick and Jason were sitting in the waiting area, and Tina was with the pups. 

"We will stay with them. They will be fine," My mom said, and I nodded before I followed Edward out the door. 

"Where are you going>" Jason asked when we made it to the waiting area.

"To talk to Ava. We need to figure out what the fuck is going on," Edward said without stopping 

"We are coming with you," Jason said and we all made our way to the castle. 

"I was wondering when y'all would show up. I told the guards that you have watching me that you would need my help," Ava said

"I need you to tell me everything?" I said

"I don't know everything. I was on my way to apologize. I felt terrible for lying on you. I thought I was doing the right thing. My mom raised me to believe that all of you were evil. She wanted me to break you and Sof up. I thought I was helping my sister. Anyway, that isn't what's important right now. What's important is how we wake them up. That vampire used a potion to put them to sleep. They need the antidote and I know how to make it," Ava said

"Why didn't you tell the guards this earlier?" Edward asked

"I tried but they wouldn't listen," Ava said

"Fine, you need to make the potion now," I said.

We took Ava out of the interrogation room so that she could make the antidote. 

"Done" Ava said as she handed Edward two viles that had a blue liquid inside. She made the potion with different herbs.

"You better not be playing with us. IF this doesn't work you will wish you weren't born," Edward said

"It is going to work," Ava said, and we walked to the hospital. 

"What is she doing here?" My mom asked as we walked into the room.

"She helped us make a potion. She said it is the only way they will wake up" Nick said. Edward gave Ella some while I gave the other to Sof. 

"Why haven't they woken up yet?" Edward asked right after giving Ella the potion

"You have to wait a moment for the potion to enter their systems. They will wake up soon," Ava replied. A moment later, Sof's eyes opened. 

"Sof," I said, relieved. Right after she woke up, Ella did as well.

"Thank the Goddess the two of you are alright," My mom said

"What happened?" Sof asked

" Why are you here?" Ella asked as she looked at Ava.

"She is the one who made the potion that woke you up," Edward said

"Do you two remember what happened?" I asked. I could see they were thinking before they spoke

"Yeah, we were in the bathroom, and Dr. Malissa showed up. Suddenly, I passed out," Sof said. Then, a worried look came to her face. "The babies."

"The pups are fine, My Love.

"Thank God," Sof replied and then she looked at Ava. 

"Why are you here?" Sof asked

"I came to apologize to you for everything I did and then I saw that vampire had you. I knew I needed to save you. I shot her with this," Ava said

"What is it?" Sof asked

"The bullets are laced with a special root that can weaken a vampire," Ava said

"That root hasn't been around in centuries. How did you get it?" Edward asked

"My mom has it in her coven," Ava said

"Your mom, you mean Queen Gina," I asked, and she sighed

"Yes, I am sorry, Sof. I know I lied to you. I told you that I was mistreated by her but I wasn't," Ava said

"So you came to use me? You wanted to turn me against everyone here so that I would go with you so that you could use me, right?" Sof asked
