Sofia's Point of View

Two Weeks later

"Okay, class, don't forget to do your assignment. There will be a test tomorrow. You are all dismissed," the teacher of last period said and everyone gathered their things to leave. 

"Let's get out of here, My Love," Ethan said and we walked hand in hand out of the class. It had been two weeks since Ethan went to Vera's Coven to find that she and Jane had escaped. They had been looking for them everywhere but it seemed that they had disappeared. Eric had used his Alpha Command to see if Jane's family knew where she was but they didn't. Her mom was still locked in a cell waiting trial. I asked Ethan what they were going to do with her and he said she would be punished severely. He also said once they found Vera and Jane they would be punished in the same way. I had a feeling he meant they would be killed.  In a way I felt bad for them but at the same time I felt relieved that I wouldn't have to worry about them anymore. 

I really felt bad for Kane and Ryan. I could tell that Kane wasn't doing well. He looked so stressed about his mate being in a cell. Ella told me that if Linda was killed he might die and if he didn't he wouldn't be the same. Ryan was so upset about the situation. He wouldn't talk to Ethan because he blamed him. He felt that Ethan lead Jane on to believe that they would be together and that is why she did the things she did. I guess Ryan told Ethan it wasn't a good idea to get with Jane but Ethan didn't listen. 

I understood why Ryan was upset. His whole family was torn apart but I didn't agree with him when he said it was Ethan's fault. Jane is a big girl. Ethan didn't make her do the things she had done. She made the choice to do them and she is the one responsible.

"Ms. Jones," I heard Mr. King say once we got to Ethan's car. 

"Hello, Mr. King," I said

"What do you want King Lestat?" Ethan asked

"I wanted to let your mate know that I was impressed with her report. I have talked to the principle and told him that I believe that you should be one of the choices for the history scholarship. He wants to meet with us in his office Monday Morning," Mr. King said, shocking me. The history scholarship was a $10,000 scholarship that could be used at any school I wanted. 

"Okay, thanks," I said

"You don't have to thank me. You earned it," Mr. King said and he left. Ethan and I got in the car and I knew he wasn't upset that Mr. King had came up to us. 

"I know you are upset, Ethan. I can feel it through the bond," I said and Ethan sighed

"I am getting tired of him. He needs to leave you alone. You are mine," Ethan said. His hands were gripping the steering wheel so tightly that I was afraid it might fall off. I put my hand on his leg and smiled when I saw that his grip was loosing a little. 

"You are right, Ethan. I am yours. You are the only man that I want to be with. You are my mate and I can't wait until Sunday when we become fully mated," I said

"I can't wait Either, My Love. I am sorry. I didn't mean to get so upset," Ethan said

"It's fine. I understand. You can come with me to the principles office on Monday if you are worreid about him," I said

"Oh, I already was going to go wth you. You didn't think I would let you be anywhere near King Lestat without me," Ethan said and I rolled my eyes. "You know your birthday is only two days away. Are you sure you are ready to complete the matebone? Once we do it there is no turning back. We will alway be together," Ethan said

"Of course I am sure. The question is are you sure?" I asked

"Yes, I am sure. Why would you ask me that?" Ethan asked

"Because you keep asking me if I am sure I want to complete the matebond. I just wanted to make sure you weren't asking me because you were having second thoughts," I said

"Trust me I was not having second thoughts. You are the only woman I have ever wanted or will ever want. You are it for me," Ethan said and I smiled at him

"I feel the same. You are the only man I have or will ever want," I said. 

"Then you better be ready because once your party is over I am going to make love to you all night long."
