Ava's Point of View

"As long as you do everything I say, the hybrid queen will come to our side," My mom said

"I agree, but I want to make sure you won't harm Sofia. She is my twin and a good person. Her mom was terrible to her. She wasn't raised as a supernatural. She cares about everyone way too much. We need to save her from them," I replied. When we first planned for me to go to the werewolf kingdom and act like I was an abused orphan, the plan was to turn Sofia against her family. I was supposed to gain her trust and then make her leave her mate. As long as she felt the betrayal of Ethan, she would leave on her own and be happy to help my mom. 

I knew it would be hard to get my mom and everyone else in our group to like her. I mean, she is a hybrid that everyone believes is an abomination in my group. I also thought that until I got to know her. Sof isn't what I thought she was. She was a good person. 

"What do you mean, Ava? You want us to let her live after she helps us? We were supposed to use her to become the leaders of all the realms, then we were supposed to kill her," MY mom replied

"You are wrong about her, Mom. Sofia isn't what you think. She is nothing like them. Once you get to know her, you will see and I am sure you will agree with me," I replied. My mom looked at me for a moment with a blank expression on her face before she smiled. "You are right, Sweetheart. I am sure I will see what you see once she get here. As long as she isn't like the others, she can stay with us. She is your sister after all," my mom replied

"Thanks, mom. I am sure you will see her like another daughter," I replied. 

"Well, you should ger back before they get suspicious. Be careful," My mom said then she hugged me. 

"I will," I replied as I hugged her back.

When I got back to the werewolf kingdom I knew the werewolf council was there. I could see there limos and some of the council guards standing outside the castle. I knew they were there because my mom called them and accused Ethan of assault. 

I walked into the castle. I could hear pack members whispering. They were wondering why the council were there. 

"I can't believe you have the guts to come back after you caused all of this drama." I turned around to see Ella and King Edward standing behind me. Ella was glaring at me. 

"What are you talking about?" I asked

"Oh, you want to play dumb. I know what you did. You lied to Sofia and told her my brother tried to rape you but we all know that's not true. To make it worse you reported him to the werewolf council," Ella said

"I didn't lie about that and I don't know what you are talking about. I didn't report him to anyone. The only person I told was Sofia," I replied

"You are lying," Ella said, and then she tried to hit me but King Edward stopped her. "Let me go, Edward. I am going to beat her ass," Ella said

"Stop, Mon Amina. You don't want to cause any more trouble by harming her," King Edward said, and she calmed down. 

"I know you are behind this, and trust me, you will pay for what you did," Ella said, and she walked away. I knew Ella was going to be trouble. She would be the first one I got rid of once I got Sof on my side. 

I was about to walk to Sofia's room, but she walked out of the room. She looked upset.

"Sof," I said, and she looked at me for a moment before walking away. I followed her out of the castle door. 

"Sof, please," I said as I caught up to her. 

"What do you want? Sof asked

"I want to talk to you and tell you I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you," I said

"What are you sorry for? Lying to me about Ethan trying to rape you or reporting the fake assault to the council?" Sof asked

I didn't lie, and I didn't report anything. Look, I know you don't believe me because he is your mate, but I didn't lie to you, and I promise I didn't contact the council. I would never do that to you. You are my sister, my twin sister. I know we haven't known each other for a very long time, but we are family. I never had family before, but with you, I do. I know you don't want to believe this but there are ways for mates to make It where you won't feel the betrayal when they are with another. Witches can make those for them," I said

"Are you saying you think Ethan had a witch make him something so I wouldn't feel the pain from him cheating?" I asked

"That is the only possibility because I am not lying he did try to rape me. Also, I didn't call the council, so that only means I am not the only one he has tried to cheat on you with. If you want me to leave, I will," I said, and I stood to leave, but Sof spoke

"Wait," Sof said, and I looked at her. 

"I am sorry. I am just so upset. I trusted Ethan, and he did this to me. I thought he loved me," Sof said as tears left her eyes. 

"It's okay, Sof. I am here," I said as I hugged her. I couldn't help the smile that came to my face knowing that she believed me. I didn't feel bad because I was doing this for her. She would live a better life once she cut ties with these monsters
