Ethan's Point of View

I was so upset. We had been working most of the day trying to figure out who was behind the call to the council. I knew whoever called the werewolf council was the key to figuring everything out. I also knew that even though Ava wasn't the one who called, she had something to do with it. The councilman agreed to help me out, but no matter what the witches tried to do, they weren't powerful enough to figure out who made the call to the council

Now it was time for the meeting with the council members, and I was upset because I didn''t have the evidence I needed to prove I didn't harm Ava. I still couldn't believe when they went to question her she lied and said I tried to rape her. This whole situation was crazy. 

"And do you have any proof?" 

"No," I replied, frustrated. I was shocked when I heard Sofia's voice

"My mate might not have the proof, but I do." Everyone became quiet, and their eyes were on Sofia.

"Queen Sofia. You say you have proof?" one of the councilmen asked

"Sof, what are you doing? You can't help him. He is guilty," Ava said. Sof just ignored her and walked next to where I was sitting. 

"Yes, I have proof that King Ethan never assaulted anyone," Sof said, then she looked at Ava. "Ava was lying," Sof replied 

"How could you say that, Sof? You know I told the truth. That is why you left the castle and moved to a house with me," Ava said

"Ava does have a point, Queen Sofia. Why did you move out of the castle? I haven't seen you and King Ethan together since the accusations began."

"I had my reason but I have the proof that King Ethan never raped Ava," Sof said and the light turned off and the monitor came. Everyone looked at the video, which showed me opening the door, and Ava came in. Then it went to me and Ava in the living room. Everyone saw Ava flirt with me and how I kicked Ava out. 

"So, as everyone can see, Ethan never touched Ava. It was she who touched him, so which one of them should be charged with assault?" Sof said. Everyone's eyes went to Ava, who looked shocked. 

"What do you have to say for yourself, Ms. Ava?" The councilman asked

"This is not true. Someone must have forged this video. I can't believe you would frame me, Sofia. I am your twin sister," Ava said

"She didn't frame you, Ava. We all know you did this. Everyone in the kingdom knows my brother would never assault anyone.

"I have a way to prove that I am telling the truth and you framed him," Sof said and Ava looked at Sofia. "Did you falsely accuse my mate of trying to rape you?" Sofia asked her in my queen command

"Yes," Ava said, and everyone gasped

"Why did you do it?" 

"Because I wanted to break you two apart," Ava replied

"Do you know who called the werewolf council?" Sof asked

"Yes," Ava said.

"Who was it" Sofia asked

"Queen Gina," Ava said and that caught my atttention

"Why did she call. Are you helping her?" Sofia asked

"She called to help me break you two apart," Ava said

"So, you lied to me when you said your mom was abusing you," Sofia said

"Yes," Ava replied

"Why did you come here and lie about everything?" sSofia asked

"Because I wanted to tear you two apart. I wanted to ruin your relationships with everyone you know so that you would leave this place and go back home with me."

"Why would you do that?" Sofia asked

"Because," Suddenly a lot of black smoke appeared and a moment later Ava was gone

Sofia's Point of View

"Where did she go?" One of the councilmen asked after all the smoke cleared

"We have to find her, now ," Ethan said nand the warriors and trackers went outside to look for her. Then he walked over to me. "You knew she was lying?" Ethan asked

"Of course I knew that. I knew my mate would never cheat on me," I said 

"Why didn't you tell me about your plan?" Ethan asked

"It had to look like I believed her."

Suddenly Ethan wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. "I love you so much. don't you ever do anything like that to me again. I was so worried," Ethan said

"I love you too," I replied as I hugged him back.

"How are you feeling? How are the pups?" Ethan asked as he rubbed my stomach

"We are fine. Don't worry," I replied

"I am sorry to interrupt your moment but we have to find Ava," Edward said

"Right, let's go."
