Forbidden Fruit: Mated To My Sister's Best Friend Chapter 244
Ava's Point of View
"I don't know why you keep coming up here. I told you I don't want nothing to do with you," I said.
I was getting annoyed. Tina and Don had been coming to visit me and I didn't want to see either of them. I knew Don had no idea about my existence but I was sure he didn't want anything to do with me. He had the perfect family. He had his mates and two sons. I am sure deep down he was happy he didn't have to put up with Sof and me when we were young.
Stacie acted like she was an angel. She acted like she wanted to have me and Sofia in her life, like she wasn't upset about our existence. Sofia might fall for that, but there was no way I was going to let her fool me. I knew about the real world. My mom might have betrayed me, but she taught me the facts of life. One thing she taught me was that when someone acted all innocent and like they did no wrong, then they were most likely faking it.
I was sure I was right because why would she want us in her life? Tina literally drugged Don to get him to have sex with her. Stacie could feel all of the pain when they were fucking. There was no way she would like us after all of that. I knew Stacie was up to something. She had to be. No one could be that forgiving.
As for Jason and Nick, I was sure they were playing as well. I was sure they were doing it for their mom. Jason and Nick thought they were better than Sof and me because they grew up with both of their parents. No, they never told me that, but I was sure of it. I didn't want anything to do with any of them. The only one I wanted to have a relationship with was Sof but I knew I fucked that up. I betrayed her too many times, so there was no way she would forgive me.
"Nice to see you, too, Ava. I brought you some gifts," Tina said as she put the bags on the table. I just sighed
"Take them away. I don't want anything from you," I said
"Well, I am not taking them away. There are some nice clothes, smell good, and food in there," Tina said, and I stayed silent, knowing no matter what I said, she wouldn't leave.
"Look, Ava. I am sure by now you know I am stubborn. You might as well take this stuff," Tina said
"Even if I wanted them, they wouldn't let me keep them," I said, and Tina laughed
"Yes, they will. Sof already told them you can keep it," Tina said. We sat there in silence. I didn't have anything to say to her. I honestly wanted her to leave. I had nothing to say to her.
"Look, Ava. I know you hate me, and I am hoping to change that."
"Tina, look.." Before I could finish my statement black smoke filled the room. A moment later my mom was in the room.
"Mom," I sad shocked. How the hell did she get in?
"Hello, Ava."
"Stay away from my daughter," Tina said, and my mom looked at her with a cold smile. She lifted her hands, which caused Tina to fly into the jail wall.
"Tina," I said worriedly. I was relieved when she got up. I didn't know why I cared if she got hurt or not.
"If you want to get out of here, then come on," my mom said. She grabbed my hand quickly and teleported us out of the jail.
A moment later, we were in the woods. I quickly got away from her. "Stay away from me. You tried to kill me," I said
"I know, and I am sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing by getting rid of you, but I was wrong," my mom said. I couldn't believe what she was saying.
"How is killing your daughter the right thing to do? You raised me. You treated me right, just to try and kill me," I said. There were tears coming out of my eyes.
"I am sorry. I did it because I was told that it had to be done. The only way I could save the realm was by killing you. I was wrong and I am sorry."
"So you thought you were saving the world by killing me? That makes no sense. Please just stay away from me," I said and I turned to leave. Suddenly I felt something sharp go into my neck.
"Sorry, I can't do that," My mom said and then darkness took over.
