King Edward's Point of View

I couldn't believe what happened. First, I was shocked because a disgusting rogue had the courage to try and hurt my beloved. I was about to kill him when Ella's eyes turned gold and she somehow burned him to death. Now I needed to figure out what the fuck was going on. 

"Okay, all of your guests' memories have been erased. No one will remember what just happened," The witch said. 

"I am sorry. I never got your name," Sofia asked

"Yes, my name is Glinda," 

"What is wrong with Ella and how do we fix it?" I asked to get straight to the point. 

"There is nothing wrong with Ella. Well not technically 

"How does she have powers?" I asked

"I need to ask her parents that question," Glinda said and we all looked at Eric and Tammie. "Something happened when she was born, didn't it? That is the only way she could have powers like these," Glinda said and Tammie and Eric looked at each other. I could tell they were hiding something. 

"Mom and Dad. What's going on?" Ethan asked. Eric and Tammie just kept starting at each other like they weren't sure if they should tell us or not. I didn't have time for their bullshit

"You need to talk. I know you are hiding something and I need to know what the fuck is going on with my beloved," I said

"I guess we can't keep it a secret now. I never thought something like this would happen," Eric said

"What's going on?" Ethan asked

"When I went into labor with you and Ella, I was so nervous. When I had you, you were born healthy. I was so happy but then Ella started to come. There was some complications and when Ella was born, she wasn't breathing. They said she was dead. A man came to me and told me that she wasn't all the way dead. He said he could bring her back. I asked him what he wanted in return for saving her, and he told me he didn't want anything. He said he was doing it because she was strong and that it would be a waste if she died. He had her drink a golden potion and she started crying. We were so happy when we heard her cry. After that, the man just disappeared and we never saw him again. After a while we forgot about him. Ella seemed to be healthy and we never had problems with her," Eric said

"That man was a warlock. An evil warlock. The potion he gave her was one that held dark magic," Glinda said

"Are you saying that Ella has dark magic in her?" Sofia asked

"Yes, she has dark magic, but also good magic as well. It's up to her which one she chooses to use."

"But she has never shown any signs of having powers," Tammie said

"Actually, that is not true. Ella has always been able to read whether a person is good or bad. That is a sign of magical powers," Sofia said. I knew she was right. Ella could always read a person. I never thought it was because she had magic in her. 

"Still, she never used powers before," Tammie said

"It's because she is getting stronger ever since meeting her mate," Glinda said, and I looked at her. 

"Her powers are getting stronger because of me?" I asked

"Yes, the closer you get, the stronger she will become. You will need to be careful. She has both good and evil magic. One of them will take over one day. She could do good, but she could also do bad," Glinda said, and that worried me. 

"Then, we need to stay away from each other," I said and everyone looked at me. 

"What do you mean?" Sofia asked. 

"I am not a good person. I have done a lot of terrible things. If she is with me she will definitely become evil. I can't let that happen," I said

"Edward, you don't know that. You are her mate. I am sure you will make sure that doesn't happen," Sofia replied

"I am evil. I have killed. I have done so many terrible things. I will only ruin her," I said

"She won't just leave you," Ethan said

"I know. We will have to make her forget me. No one can tell her about me," I said

"No, Edward. She will not forget you," Sofia said

"I can make her forget. But you will have to stay away from her. All traces of you must be destroyed. That is the only way she won't remember you," Glinda said

"Okay," I replied

"I can't believe all of you are okay with this. I won't stay here and watch you do this," Sof said, and she walked out of the room. 

"I will talk to her," Ethan said, and I nodded. 

I caressed Ella's cheek as I looked at my beautiful beloved. I would always love her. She would be the only woman I ever want and love, but I would never be able to have her.
