Sofia's Point of View

Ella, Lacy, and I were doing homework when Ethan, Jason, and Nick walked into the family room.

"Hey," Ethan said. I could tell by his facial expression that he was worried that I was still upset about what had happened earlier. 

"Hey," I replied with a smile, causing him to smile at me. I thought about what Ella had said, and I realized she was right. I would be upset if the tables were turned and some females acted the way Mr. King had acted with me in class. I wouldn't want him to work with them so I shouldn't be upset that he feels the same. "Are you finished doing what you had to do with your dad?" I asked

"Yeah, we found out everything we needed to know from Linda. Now we know where Jane is," Ethan said 

"Good, now you can get her," I said happily. I was relieved that he knew where she was hiding. I had been worried that she would come back and try to get me or have someone else do it. Ethan, Jason, and Nick looked at each other before Ethan spoke again. 

"Yeah, we will be able to get her soon," Ethan said. I had a feeling he wasn't telling me everything by the worried expression on his face but I would ask him later when we were alone. 

"Jason and I were wondering if you would like to go to dinner with us tonight?" Nick asked

"Yeah, that would be nice," I replied

"That sounds like fun. I am in," Lacy said and Jason looked at her 

"Um, we were hoping you wouldn't mind if it is just the three of us since we have never got to spend time with her. Ethan isn't even coming with us," Jason said

"Oh, I understand," Lacy said. 

"Thanks, Lacy. You are the best. Next time we all can go," Nick said and Lacy smiled

"That sounds nice. Well, I should head back to my room since we are finished with everything," Lacy said. The sound of her voice told me Lacy was upset. I felt bad because I knew she was upset that they wanted it to be just the three of us. 

"Okay, we will see you later," Jason said

"Okay bye," Lacy said

"Bye," We all said and Lacy left the room

"I think she was upset because she wanted to come. Maybe we should let her come to dinner with us," I said

"She will be fine. Nick and I want to spend time with you alone," Jason replied

"I think that's a good idea. I am sure she will get over it later," Ella said

"I guess," I replied

"Anyway we are going to go and get ready and we will be back up here to get you in about an hour," Nick said

"Okay," I replied and they left

"I guess I might as well go back to my room. Give you two some privacy," Ella said 

"Okay, see you later," I said

"See ya," Ella replied

"Thanks, sis," Ethan said, and Ella left.

"So Linda told you everything?" I asked

"Yeah, I am happy we know where Jane is," Ethan said

"What are you keeping from me?" I asked. Somehow I could feel he was keeping something from me. I could feel his worry. I was feeling his emotions

"I am not keeping anything from you," Etahn replied

"I can feel that you are worried about something. I can feel your anger too and your guilt for not telling me everything but I also can feel you are trying to make it where I don't worry," I said 

"You can feel all of that?" Ethan asked with a shocked expression, and I nodded my head, letting him know I could. "That isn't normal. You shouldn't be able to feel all of that until we finish the mating process," Ethan said

"Well, I can and I would like to know what you aren't telling me. The only reason I am not that upset is because I know you are trying to protect me and not worry me, but I deserve to know what's going on," I said, and Ethan sighed. 

"I know you deserve to know. I will tell you," Ethan said and he was silent for a moment before speaking again. "Jane had help from a very powerful evil witch named Vera. She is hiding her in her Coven. Werewolves can't just go into a witch's coven. It is protected with magic so we can't just walk in and get her. We have to contact the witch's council and let them know what is going on. They would be able to go in and get her for us or allow us access to the coven," Ethan said

"Okay, so we will call the witch's council. I am sure they will let us in once you tell them everything," I said

"Yeah, but I am worried Jane will find out something is wrong and run. Dad and I have some of the guards and warriors standing by the coven just in case she tries to leave but Vera can also teleport if she wants. I can't let Jane get away," Ethan said. I could tell he was worried. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly. I could feel him breathe in my scent, and he sighed. I knew it was relaxing him. 

"You won't let her get away. We will get her. I know it," I said and Ethan nodded. 

"I am sorry about earlier. I want you to know that I trust you. I know you would never do anything to hurt me. It's King Lestat I don't trust," Ethan said

"I know. I am sorry I got upset. If a woman was acting like Mr. King I would be upset as well," I replied

"Thanks for understanding, Love."

"Of course. Now I am going to get ready for dinner," I said

"Okay," Ethan said. He kissed my lips softly and I headed to the bathroom to get ready.
