Ella's Point of View

"Have I told you that you look gorgeous in that red dress?" Edward asked. We were sitting across from each other in a booth at a steakhouse. With everything that's happened, I felt like I needed to get out of the castle. Ava was in the hospital, unconscious, and Sof was sad. I knew it bothered her that members in the kingdom didn't think that Ava deserved what had happened to her. They whispered about it all the time. About how Ava was a terrible person and got what she deserved. I understood Sof. Though Ava made bad mistakes she was still her twin sister. They might not have grown up together, but they did have that twin bong. The same I had with Ethan. 

Edward must have noticed and decided to take me to dinner.

"Yes, you told me that about ten times already," I replied. The waitress came to our table with a bottle of champagne. She put two champagne glasses on the table and poured the liquid in the glasses. Then, she put the bottle of champagne in the center of the table.

"Your food will be ready shortly," the waitress said

"Thanks," I replied, and she left. 

"Thanks for taking me out to dinner. I really needed to get away for a while," I said

"No problem. I could tell you needed to get away. I actually had something I wanted to talk to you about," Edward said after taking a sip of his champagne

"What is it?" I asked

"Well, you know I will be having to go back to the vampire kingdom soon," Edward said. I knew he would. He was the vampire king and he had to take care of all of them. He couldn't stay in the werewolf kingdom forever. 

"I know," I said

"I was hoping you would come back with me. Well, I am going to be honest. I need you to come back with me. You are my beloved. As I have told you before, the bond is stronger for vampires than werewolves and I can't live without you. If we lived so far away, I wouldn't make it. I am not trying to tell you what to do, but..."

"I will go with you," I said, and Edward stared at me silently. 

"You will come with me," Edward said

"Yes, not only because of how hard it will be for you but because of how hard it will be for me. I can't live without you either, Edward."

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that. Thanks, Mon Amour," Edward said, and I just smiled. 

"I know things haven't been great, especially with what Malissa did. I know it is my fault. I should have..."

"No, Edward. Let's not talk about that. I wish you would have waited for me, but you didn't make her do what she did. She decided to do what she did. You are right things didn't start out great but I can tell you are changing for me. I want to be with you," I said and then she frowned

"What's wrong?" Edward asked

"It's nothing important," I said

"Ella, everything about you is important. Now tell me what's wrong," Edward said in a commanding tone. Most would have been afraid by his tone but it turned me on. I could feel myself becoming wet between my legs. Edward's eyes turned red for a moment. I was sure it was because he could smell my arousal. He closed his eyes as if trying to control himself before he opened them, and his eyes went back to their usual grey.

"I guess I am sad that I won't be able to see my family on a daily basis. I have never been away from them for a long period of time, and I will miss them," I said

"I know you will. I know how much you love your family, and they love you. We won't be that far. We will visit them often," Edward said

"They aren't going to be happy that I am leaving. I am worried about my dad and Ethan," I said truthfully

"We will talk to them. Everything will be okay. Trust me," Edward said

"I do trust you," I said truthfully. We might not have started off on the right foot, but I knew I could trust Edward. Deep down, I had always known I could trust him ever since the first time I met him.

The waitress came to our table with our food, and we started eating in complete silence. Once we were finished, we decided to go for a walk. "I know you are still in school, so I was thinking that once you were finished, we would leave. Also, what were your plans after high school?" Edward asked

"I wanted to travel, but that won't happen now," I said

"There will be plenty of time for me to show you the world. Once we get home, we need to have your crowning ceremony," Edward said

"Do you think I will be ready? What if everyone hates me?" I asked. I was a werewolf and I was sure the vampires wouldn't be happy with me becoming their queen.

"You are my queen. Anyone who has a problem with that will have to answer to me," Edward said. I decided to let it go at that moment, though I was worried that there would be a lot of vampires that won't accept me as their queen.
