Sof's Point of View

Ethan fell to his side of the bed and pulled me to him. "I don't know how, but every time we make love, it gets better," Ethan said as he kissed the top of my head before pulling the covers over our bodies. 

"I know," I replied as I snuggled closer to him. It had been two weeks since Queen Gina escaped. Ava was still in a coma, and Dr. Sally didn't know if she would ever wake up. We were still looking for Queen Gina, but there was no trace of her. It was as if she had disappeared. 

We had been in contact with the vampire, werewolf, and witches'9 council and they had even come to the kingdom to investigate. I pretty much got tired of them and kicked them out when I realized they hadn't come to help us. They just wanted to question us about everything that happened. I ended up kicking them out of the kingdom. 

Of course they were upset, but I didn't care. I never liked the council. The werewolf council was created to help make sure that no one abused their powers in packs. They were created to help the King and Queen. That was what they were created for but that wasn't what they did. They felt they could make the rules. Like they were in charge when in reality I was. I had been thinking about it, and now I feel it is time to end the werewolf council.

Ethan and I took a shower and then went to check on Hope and Jr. While I was feeding Hope one of the guards' mind linked me. "Queen Sofia, Ava is awake."

Ethan and I rushed to the hospital to see my mom and dad were already there with Nick and Jason. When we walked into the room, Ava looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Sof, I am so sorry. I know I messed up, and you won't be able to forgive me. I will take whatever punishment you decide to give me," Ava said. She sounded so weak. 

"We will talk about that later. Right now, you need to get better," I replied. 

We left the room, and my dad spoke. "She said that Queen Gina stabbed her. I know she did a lot of terrible things, but I am sure she regrets is now."

"I agree. I can only imagine how she feels about being betrayed by the Person who raised her. She trusted her so much and look at what happened," I said. 

"No matter what, she needs to be punished for what she did." I turned to see Edward and Ella walking over to us. 

"I agree. We can't let her get away with this. She has done too many bad things," Ethan added. I 

"I know we can't let her off the hook but I also feel sorry for her. The one person she trusted turned on her," I said.

"Queen Sofia, King Ethan. The werewolf council just called and said they will be coming here to question Ava," One of the guards said as they walked over to us. 

"What? She just woke up. How could they know she was awake? Unless..." I started to say but Ethan cut me off

"Someone told them she was awake."

"That means someone in the castle must be giving them information. The question is who," My dad said

"It has to be someone we trust," I said

"We need to figure out who that is," my dad said

"Yes, we do. One thing I know is that I am not letting them question her. They have no right to come here unannounced," I said then I took my phone out and dialed the councils number. 

"Hello," A man said on the other line

"Hello, this is Queen Sofia. I heard the council is planning on coming here to question someone," I said

"Yes, my queen. They plan on leaving tonight so that they can make it there sometime tomorrow," the man said

"Well, let them know that they won't be questioning anyone here," I said. The man was silent for a moment before he spoke

"I am sorry, my queen but that won't work. I know you kicked them out the other day. We had a feeling you would call and say you didn't want us to come but I was told to let you know that no matter what you say they will still be coming," the man said. I was upset. The council thought they were more powerful then Ethan and me. They were wrong. 

"Fine, let them come," I said

""I knew you would understand Queen Sofia," The man said, then we ended the call. 

"They have some nerve. I swear the council thinks they run everything. You should have told them not to come," Edward said

"No, since they want to come then I will let them. But, they won't be questioning anyone," I said

It's time to let the council know who the boss truly is
