King Edward's Point of View

"Is everyone in place?" I asked as I made my way to the woods where twenty of my men were waiting. I was so happy this day had finally come. I am finally going to be able to get revenge for my parents' deaths. I am also happy that I will be able to get rid of the Hybrid. She never should have been born. 

"Great. I will gain their trust and bring them here, and then we will kill them all," I said, and everyone cheered. I made my way to the castle. My phone rang, and I saw that Damon was calling me. 

"Hello," I said

"Hey, I wanted to make sure you were ready for the meeting. I am about to get my granddaughter and bring her to your office," Damon asked.

"Yes, I am on my way now. I will be there in a few minutes," I said

"Great, we will see you there," Damon said. He was happy because he thought I wanted peace between the werewolves and vampires. I knew he was going to be upset when he learned what I was up to. He was a good man, but I had to get rid of them. Werewolves were terrible creatures. They tried to make it seem like the vampires were the evil ones, but it was really them. They are the ones who started the war long ago. I knew he would understand once I explained everything to him. He would see that what I did was for the greater good. He was only blind because his daughter and granddaughter were hybrids. Thinking about it made me realize that not only was his granddaughter a threat. His daughter was also a threat because she was a hybrid, too. I had to make sure she died as well. 

My phone rang again while I was walking to the castle. I looked at it to see one of my men was calling. 

"Yes," I said

"King Edward. Something has happened. Leroy and his friends started a fight with the hybrid and her people. Damon is there as well. They told them what you were up to."

"What? Why would they do that? I told Leroy to stay away," I growled in anger. Leroy was one of my men, but I didn't fully trust him. He hated the werewolves as well, but he wanted to attack their Kingdom. I had to tell him to calm down and that I had a plan. He let his emotions get the best of him, and he didn't think before doing things. 

"He was upset when you told him to wait in his room and not to do anything rash. He went to the office saying you told him to go there and wait for you. He told them everything about you wanting them gone and not really wanting to have peace. They are fighting now. do you want me to interfere?" 

"No, I am almost there," I replied. I was upset with Leroy for ruining my plan. I guess I am going to have to kill them myself. 

I started running at full speed, and it didn't take me but a few seconds to get to where they were. Suddenly, I smelled the most intoxicating scent. It was hard to explain what it smelled like. The closest I could get to was roses and chocolate.

My eyes went to the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She was about eighteen years old and had long blond hair and the most beautiful ocean blue eyes I had ever seen. "Beloved," I thought in my mind. 

One of my followers grabbed her and was about to bite her neck, but I quickly got to them and tore his head off, making it fall to the ground. I grabbed my Beloved and pulled her to me protectively. She looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes, and I felt like my heart had started to beat for the first time in over one hundred years. 

"Mate," "beloved," We said at the same time. That was when I realized she was a werewolf. I didn't care, though. She was mine and always would be.

"King Edward, we need to kill them all just like we planned," Leroy said, and I glared at him. 

"No one will touch any of them. I want all of you to leave," I said, and everyone started to leave. "Drake, Take Leroy to a cell," I told my second, and he did as I said. Leroy was screaming as Drake dragged him. 

"They all need to die," Leroy was saying. 

"What is going on?" A woman said

"I think they are mates," another woman said

"King Edward is her mate," Damon said 

"You are King Edward," my mate said

"yes," I replied, and then she shocked me by punching me in the face. All the vampires gasped when I didn't punish her for hitting me. I would never hurt my beautiful mate. 

"You are the King. The King that wanted to kill me. To kill my family. I will never accept you," she said, and she ran away. 

I was about to go after her but a girl with green eyes that looked to be around eighteen stopped me. I knew she was the Hybrid Werewolf Queen by her unique scent. "I will go after her," She said. Her mate was standing protectively by her side. 

"Sofia," her mate said

"I will be back. I can tell he won't attack. I can feel it deep inside," The Hybrid Werewolf Queen said before she walked away.
