Sofia's Point of View

"I already told you I have no idea what you are talking about," Eugene said. He was shaking and it was easy to tell he was lying. 

"Oh, really? Well, if that is the case, how about I introduce you to some people?" Ethan said, and he walked over to Eugene and grabbed his arm. He dragged him out of the room, and I walked behind them to where Ethan was taking him. 

He went to the cell where Matt and Eli were. When we walked inside, Eugene looked at them. His facial expression told it all. 

"Do you know these men?" Ethan asked. I looked at Matt and Eli and saw that they looked like a mess. They were bruised and bloody. I knew Ethan and Edward had to have been the ones to do that to them. I made a note to ask Ethan about that later. 

"No, I have never met them in my life," Eugene said

"Are you sure about that. Because your facial expressions says otherwise," I replied

"Yes, why are you lying. You know us. You are the council member that helped us get Queen Gina out," Eli said. 

"I don't know what you are talking about. I have never met these men in my life," Eugene said

"Oh, really. How about I ask you again," I said, and then I used my command. "Tell me the truth. Do you know these men? " I asked 

"Yes," Eugene said

"Great! Now that that is over. You can stay here with Eli and Matt. Oh, but before I go. Who is the vampire council member that was working with you?" Ethan asked

"I don't know," Eugene said

"Tell me who the vampire councilman is who helped you?" I asked using my command

"I swear I really don't know. He never gave us his name, and he always wore a mask. I have never seen his face. I don't think anyone did," Eugene said, and Ethan and I left the room. 

"We have to figure out who the vampire was that helped them. We need to talk to Edward. He used to be a follower of Queen Gina. Maybe he has an idea about who it is," I said

"That's a good idea.

Edward's Point of View

I was so pissed after talking to Sofia and Ethan. I didn't understand why she wanted to keep Ava alive. She was not someone who could be trusted. I knew she was her sister, but they didn't grow up together, so it shouldn't have been so hard to punish her the way she needed to be punished. I made my way to Ella's room. I needed to see her before I went to the room where Ava was and killed her myself. I knocked on the door, and as soon as Ella answered it, I hugged her tightly. I put my face to her neck and inhaled her scent. Being close to her and smelling her intoxicating scent helped me calm down. 

"Are you okay," Ella asked after a while

"Yes, I missed you. Today has been a crazy one," I said as we walked into her room

"At least Queen Gina and Ava were caught," Ella said

"Yeah but it isn't like Ava is going to get the punishment she deserves. She did so much to get away with some jail time and then exile," I said

"She is Sofia's sister and she did save her life today," Ella said

"So you think she should live?" I asked

"I don't know. I don't like her, but I am happy she made the right choice in the end. I think she has learned her lesson. She didn't have to help Sofia. She could have let her die," Ella said

"I still think she should die for what she did to you. She kidnapped you. What if something had happened to you?" I said

"But nothing did happen. I am here and fine," Ella said

Still, she deserves to die," I said

"Maybe and maybe not," Ella said, and I sighed

"I am so glad they are caught, and we can go to the vampire kingdom soon.  I don't know how much longer I can deal with this craziness," I said

"You really think everything is going to be smooth when we leave? I have a feeling there will be some that challenge the fact that I am the future vampire queen," Ella said, and I smiled. "What?" Ella asked

"You recognized the fact that you are my queen," I said, and she rolled her eyes. I pushed her against the wall, and I could tell that it shocked her by her facial expression.

"Don't roll your eyes at me, Mon Amour," I said, and then I connected my lips to hers.
