Ella's Point of View

"You look nice, Sweetheart. Where are you going?" My mom asked as I went to the kitchen

"Thanks Mom. Edward is taking me to lunch," I replied. I was wearing a short pink dress and had my blond hair hanging down my back in spiral curls. I made sure my makeup looked great. 

"You two seem to be getting along. So, I guess you have decided to accept him?" My mom asked

"I think so. He has been treating me good," I said

"I can see that. But what's up with that Doctor? She seems to be trying to cause trouble," My mom said. I knew my mom noticed. She was observant, just like me.

"Don't worry about her mom. I will handle her," I said

"Okay. If you need me know, I am here. All you have to do is ask," My mom said. A few moments later, I heard the doorbell. I went to get it to see Edward standing by the door with a bouquet of pink roses. I couldn't help but smile because he remembered my favorite flower. 

"Hello, Mon Amour. You look beautiful," Edward said as he checked me out. 

"Thank you," I replied. Edward said hi to my mom, and then we left. He opened the passenger side door for me, and I thanked him. Then, he went to the driver's side, and we left. 

"Where are we going to eat?" I asked

"How do you feel about steak?" Edward asked

"It's my favorite," I said

"I know," Edward said. He pulled up to my favorite steakhouse and gave the key to the valet before we headed inside. 

The host took us to our table, and Edward sat next to me.

"What can I get you to drink?" The waitress asked

"I will have a Coke," I said

"I will have the same," Edward said. 

The waitress left, and we looked at the menu. "I still can't believe you eat food," I said

"Ha ha ha. It's not like I haven't heard that one before," Edward said. 

"I wanted to talk to you about some things," Edward said.

"About what?" I asked

"I know we didn't start out on the right food and I made some mistakes. I want you to know that I really care about you. I was hoping..."

"King Edward, Queen Ella." I looked up to see Dr. Malissa standing there.

"Hello Malissa. I didn't expect to see you here," Edward said. He sounded frustrated and I knew he was upset that she interrupted him. 

"Yeah, I was hungry and decided to try this place. I heard the food is good," Dr. Malissa replied.

"You decided to come here alone?" I asked

"No, my friend ditched me, so I am here alone. It's a bit embarrassing. Do you mind if I join you?" Malissa said. I wasn't shocked. I had a feeling that was why she came. She wasn't going to meet a friend. She wanted to mess up Edward and my date. 

"Actually we are in the middle of..." Edward started to say but I cut him off. 

"Sure you can join us," I said with a smile and Edward looked at me with a shocked expression on his face. I knew he was wondering why I would invite her to eat lunch with us when it was obvious I didn't like her.

"Are you sure? I don't want to impose," Dr. Malissa said

"I am sure. Go ahead and have a seat," I replied

"Well, if you insist," Dr. Malissa said.

The waitress came back and took our order and left. 

"Thanks for letting me eat with the both of you," Dr. Malissa said

"It's not a problem. Edward told me you two grew up together. That the two of you were good friends" I replied

"Yes, we did. We were great friends. Did a lot of stuff together."

"Hmm," I replied. I could tell Edward was uncomfortable with Dr. Malissa sitting with us and the whole situation

"I thought with King Edward and my history, you wouldn't want me anywhere near him. Most wouldn't want their beloveds to be around their ex."

"I am not your ex. We were never together, Malissa and you know that," Edward said

"I am sorry. I didn't mean it that way. I just meant we had history," Dr. Malissa said 

"You mean you two used to have sex?" I asked and they both looked at me.

"Yeah, that's what I meant," Dr. Malissa replied. 

The food came and we began to eat. Everyone was quiet. I was sure they were both uncomfortable. I didn't miss how Dr. Malissa would look at Edward. 

"After lunch I was hoping I could take to you alone King Edward," Dr. Malissa said. It wasn't the first time she'd asked to talk to him alone since she had been in the Werewolf Kingdom and he would always tell her no. HE was about to do it again but I cut him off.

"Okay I am done playing this game," I said and they looked at me

"What do you mean? I am not playing a game," Dr. Malissa said

"You know very well what I mean. You have been asking to speak to him alone since you arrived and he always refuses. I see the way you look at him and I know you didn't accidently come to the same restaurant as we did. You were not going to meet a friend here. You followed us. I know what you are trying to do," I said

"I am not," She started to say but I cut her off and looked at Edward

"Do you have feelings for her?" 

"What, no," Edward replied. I could tell he was shocked at my question

"Would you fuck her if she threw herself at you?" I asked

"You know I wouldn't. You are the only woman I want and need, Mon Amina," Edrward replied and I looked at Dr. Malissa. 

"You heard that, right?"

"I, uh," 

"Because I am going to say this one time. I am not one of those females that put up with bullshit. I already told Edward this, now it's your turn to hear it. I am not the one to fuck with. You keep this up, and you will wish you had never come to the werewolf kingdom. I know that was a part of your plan as well. You came here to try to make Edward yours."

"No, I didn't."

"I get it.  You love him, but as you heard him say. He doesn't love you. The best thing for you to do is stop this shit right now. I have seen this before. If you keep this up, you will be the one who gets hurt. I think the two of you should talk. I am going to leave," I said and I got up from my seat.

"Ella," Edward said as I tried to walk away

"I am not upset with you, but you need to take care of this now."
