Ethan's Point of View (Five Days Later)

"I don't get it. Why hasn't anyone found proof that Ava is the one to blame for all of this?" I asked angrily. I was pissed because for the last five days I had been trying to get proof that Ava was up to know good. That she was the one who made up all of the accusations. 

Don, Edward, Ella, Tina, my parents, Stacie, Nick, and Jason were all in the room. They also believed that Ava was up to this. We just couldn't get the proof. The werewolf council was still investigating the accusations about me assaulting members in the kingdom. Everyone they spoke to besides Ava told them that I had never tried to touch any of them. Ava, of course, told them the same thing she told Sofia. That she came to my room to see Sofia, and I tried to force myself on her. She was crazy, and I wished I had never let her stay in the kingdom. 

"We've checked everywhere in the kingdom and the call didn't come from here," Don said, which made me think. If it didn't come from here, then...

"That means it must have come from somewhere else. We need to figure out where," I said

"There is a way we can figure it out, but we need to have a strong with like Sof help us but I don't think she will do that since she believes Ava. Plus, she is pregnant and might get hurt from the spell," Tina said. 

"Yeah, I don't want to risk her health. We have to find another way," I said

"Maybe we can find out with a tracking spell. We just need to see the councilman whom the person spoke to," Tina said

"You are the one who spoke to the woman who accused me, right?" I asked Councilman Ronald

"Yes, I am. What did you want to see me for?"

"I need your help."

Sofia's Point of View

"Are you sure it's a good idea to go to the meeting today? I don't want you to get upset at what you hear," Ava said. I could tell she was worried about me going

"Yes, I have to be there. I am the queen, and he is my mate. I need to be there to see what he says," I said

"But what about the pups? I don't want you to become stressed," Ava said

"You don't have to worry, Ava. I won't," I replied and I turned to leave.

"I will go with you," Ava said

"Okay," I replied, and we left together. Once we arrived at the castle, everyone's eyes went to me.

"Queen Sofia is back. I wondered if she would come."

"I am happy she came. I still can't believe someone lied about King Ethan. Someone is trying to frame him. He has never harmed any of us."

"I agree, and I believe the one making the false accusations is Ava." It was obvious everyone believed Ethan was innocent. I looked at Ava and could tell she was upset by her facial expression. 

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Of course I am okay. These people don't know me," Ava replied 

"Yeah, she is trouble. She might look like our queen, but she is pure evil. How could she make this up about our king?"

"None of you know what you are talking about. You don't know me. You are the evil ones blaming me. I am the victim. All of you will pay," Ava said angrily. I could tell she shocked everyone with her words

"Are you okay?" I asked, and she looked at me.

"Yes, I am sorry. I just got angry," Ava said

"It's okay. Let's go. The meeting is about to start," I said

"See, that woman is crazy. She said she is going to make us all pay."

When we got to the room where the meeting was taking place, my eyes went to Ethan. I had missed him these past five days. It was the longest we had been apart since finding out we were mates. I never thought we would be in this situation, but we are. 

As if sensing my presence, his eyes went to mine, and he smiled. I walked over to my seat and sat with Ava next to me. 

"So you are saying you never abused anyone in the castle?" one of the councilmen asked

"Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. I would never do anything like that," Ethan replied

"But what about Queen Sofia's twin?"

"Not even her. The only woman I want is my mate," Ehtan said as he looked at me

"Oh, he is such a liar," Ava whispered 

"Do you have any proof?" 

"No, , but I know she is the one behind this. She is the one that accused me falsely. That is the reason everyone you asked told you I have never tried to assault them. I also believe she is the one behind the call you received, telling you that I was assaulting women in the pack" Ethann said

"And do you have any proof?" 

"No," Ethan replied. I could hear the frustration in his voice. I decided it was time for me to stand up

"My mate might not have the proof but I do."
