Sofia's Point of View

"Are you okay, My Love? You seemed upset a moment ago," Ethan asked.

"Yeah, I am fine," I replied. Ethan kissed my lips softly, and then we walked hand in hand to the couch where he was sitting next to Amy. Amy was sitting in the middle of the couch now, and I knew she had done that so that she could sit next to Ethan. That pissed me off, and I was ready to tell her how I felt, but Ethan shocked me by pulling me down with him so that I was sitting on his lap. I was sure I was as red as a tomato, but at the same time, I was happy that he did that. 

"What's the matter, Amy? You look upset," Ella said. I looked at Ella, to see she had a smirk on her face. 

"I am fine," Amy said. When I looked at her, I could tell she was lying because of her facial expression. I was sure she was upset that I was sitting on Ethan's lap. That was when I was sure Ella was right. Amy wanted to be with Ethan. That was never going to happen. Ethan was and would always be mine. 

"Are you sure? Because you look to be upset about something by the way you were glaring at Sofia," Ella said, and Ethan looked at Amy. Before he could say something, Elizabeth spoke

"Oh, I am sure she is just tired after the long trip. We both are, actually. I think it would be best for us to head to our room. Ethan, would you mind showing us to our room," Elizabeth said. I didn't like the thought of him going anywhere with them.

"Actually, we are busy right now," Eric said

"Yeah, we will have Lindsey show you to your room," Tammie said. Lindsey was the head maid. She was an older woman and had been the head maid since Ethan and Ella were babies. 

"Sure, that would be great," Elizabeth said but I could tell she was upset that Ethan wasn't the one taking them to their rooms by her facial expression. 

"Ethan, I was hoping that we could go out and catch up," Amy said

"That would be nice. I will let you know when Sof and I are available to go out," Ethan said, and Amy started to frown. I smiled, knowing he planned on taking me with him. 

"Oh, I was hoping it would just be the two of us. You know, catch up on everything we have missed. It has been a while since I have seen you," Amy said

"What? You don't want to catch up with me too," Ella said, dramatically, acting hurt and Amy glared at her for a moment while Ella smiled innocently.

"I don't see the problem with Sof coming with us. She is my mate, Amy," Ethan said

"Yeah, it seems like you are trying to get Ethan alone. Is there a reason why you would want to do that?" Ell asked

"Of course not. It would be good if she came. It would be great to get to know my new cousin," Amy said, but I knew she was lying. I knew she didn't want me going anywhere with them. 

"Good. It will have to be after our crowing ceremony, though," Ethan said

"Crowning Ceremony! You two are going to be crowned as King and Queen," Elizabeth asked

"Yes, in two weeks," Ethan said 

"Oh, I had no idea. I guess we came at the right time," Elizabeth said. 

There was a knock on the door, and Eric told them to come in. Lindsey walked inside with a smile on her face. "Hello, King Eric, Queen Tammie. Hello everyone. I am here to show our guests to their rooms," Lindsey said, and Elizabeth and Amy stood up to leave. 

"Thank you, Lindsey," Tammie said, and they left. 

"What are they doing here? Did you know they were coming?" Tammie asked once they were gone. It was obvious she didn't want them there.

"No, they just showed up. Elizabeth said she decided to come visit us," Eric said

"That's bull shit. I am sure they are here for something. We haven't seen them since your cousin passed from mysterious circumstances," Tammie said. Her words didn't sit well with me. 

"I know, but what am I supposed to do?" Eric asked

"Tell them to leave," Ella said

"Ella, we can't do that. They are family. She was your uncle's mate," Eric said, and Tammie sighed. Eric placed his hand on hers and started caressing it. "Don't worry. I am sure they will be gone soon. They never stay in one place for very long," Eric said

"I hope so. If they try to cause any trouble, I will kick them out," Tammie said. I had never seen 

"Okay," Eric said, and then he looked at me. 

"So, did Layla say anything to you?"
