Sofia's Point of View

"So, what do you have to say? Why did you do it?" I asked with my arms folded, waiting for her to answer.

"Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamt of being the Luna Queen. I dreamed that Ethan would be my mate, and we would live happily ever after, ruling the werewolf world together. I just knew it would happen, too. Ethan's parents were friends with Uncle Don and Aunt Stacie. I knew that we had to be destined to be together. I never listen to the rumor about him and that Jane bitch. I knew she was just someone he was using to get what he needed until we were old enough to sense we were mates, but then you ruined everything," Lacy said, shocking me. I just stared at her, shocked at what she said.

"Lacy," I started to say, but she cut me off. 

"Did you know that Uncle Don and Aunt Lacy were supposed to bring Jason, Nick, and me to Ethan and Ella's birthday party, but something came up, and we couldn't make it? I was so upset that we couldn't go, but I knew we would see each other soon. I couldn't believe it when King Eric called Uncle Don and told him about you. I was shocked to learn he had a long-lost daughter, but when I found out that you were Ethan's mate, I was furious. I knew I had to break the two of you apart," Lacy said, and then she took a vile out of her pocket with a blue liquid inside and opened it.

"What is that?" I asked as she drank what was in it. Suddenly, her eyes turned red, and her nails started extending into claws. The claws were bigger than any werewolf I had seen. 

"it is something that is going to help me kill you," Lacy said in a deep, manly voice that shocked me. 

"Lacy, you need to calm down. I am sorry for whatever you think I did, but Ethan is not your mate. He is mine," I said, and she growled so loud that the room shook. I was sure the whole castle had shook.

"You know, I thought you were smarter than that, Sofia. Didn't you wonder where your guards were before I showed up here?" Lacy asked

"Did you do something to them, Lacy?" I asked

"No, not me, but don't worry. The person who took care of them said they were just sleeping and would wake up in a few hours. Sadly I can't say the same thing about you. You will be dead soon," Lacy said, and her teeth turned extended to fangs. Lacy made a move to jump on me, but I lifted my hands and made her fly into the wall, causing a giant hole to appear. 

"You bitch," Lacy said angrily, and then she grabbed her head and started to scream like she was in pain. 

"Lacy," I said as she screamed. Lacy looked behind me, and a panicked look came to her face. 

"What did you do to me?" Lacy asked, and I turned to see that she was staring at Jane, Linda, Ryan, and another woman I was sure was Vera. 

I quickly moved away from them and tried to run out of the door, but Vera suddenly appeared in front of it before I could open it.

"I am sorry, but I can't let you go," the lady said

"You are Vera, Aren't you?" I asked

"Yes, I am. I want you to know there are no hard feelings. This is just business," Vera said

"Enough of that. You are going to die for what you did to my family," Linda said

"I haven't done anything to your family," I spat.

"Yes, you did. Because of you, my daughter will never become the Luna Queen. You stole Ethan from her. You are the reason we are in hiding. So now you have to die," Linda said

"Enough of all of this small talk. I am going to kill the bitch," Jane said, and she ran over to me. Before she could get to me, I lifted my hand and made her fly into the dining room. 

"You bitch," Linda said, and she took a knife out of her hand. Before she could move, Ryan had his arms around her, stopping her.

"No, mom," Ryan said

"What are you doing, son? Get off of me," Linda said. The front door to my room opened, and I was shocked to see some of the warriors, along with Jason, Nick, Eric, Don, Ethan, and Kane, standing there. 

"Take them to a cell," Eric said 

"What the..." Linda said and then she looked at Ryan. "You, how could you do this to me? I am your mother," Linda screamed.

"I couldn't let you hurt her mom. She is innocent," Ryan said, and she looked at Kane. 

"Kane, please help me. I am your mate," Linda said, but Kane looked away from her. 

"Fine then. If that is how you feel, then I, Linda Turner Young, Reject you, Kane Young, as my mate and Beta," Linda said, and they both fell on the floor in pain.

"Dad," Ryan said as he ran over to where his dad was, trying to help him. Kane put his hand up, stopping Ryan, and he looked at Linda. 

"I, Kane Young, accept Linda Turner Young's Rejection," Kane said, and Linda started screaming in pain.
