King Edward's Point of View

I watched as my beloved slept. I was so upset that she was stuck in a hospital room, and I couldn't help but blame myself. I knew the only reason Malissa did this was because she wanted me. She fell in love with me. If I never would have fucked her she would have never thought it would be okay to mess with Ella. Ella wouldn't have been poisoned and nearly killed. I hated seeing her on the hospital bed. Hated knowing that she was in pain because of me. 

It was crazy because all my life I never cared about anyone but myself. I never wanted to have a beloved. I thought they would be a burden but now the only person I cared about was Ella. She meant the world to me. After living for myself you would think I would be upset about this but I wasn't. I was happy. After meeting Ella I knew that wouldn't be able to live without her. I would live for her. I would live to make her happy. I never wanted to see her hurt again and I would do everything in my power to make sure she wouldn't be. Ella was the most beautiful woman in the world and the love of my life. Yes, I, King Edward, the ruler of the vampires was in love. 

Ella was all I could think about. I wanted things I never wanted before in my life. I wanted a home with her. I wanted to make her mine fully. I wanted kids with her. I wanted it all. I wondered how she would feel about completing the mating process with me. Vampires and werewolves completed the process differently. Werewolf marked their mates by biting into their necks. Vampires also bit into their beloved's neck but they also drank from them. I wondered if Ella would be okay with me drinking from her. 

Vampires drank the blood of their beloved often, especially when having sex. It made the sex better. I knew I would have to talk to her about that and hoped she would be comfortable with it. 

A text went off on my phone and I looked at it to see that one of my warriors had text me letting me know Malissa was up. I looked at Ella and then kissed her on her forehead. "I will be back soon, Mon Amina," I said and I got up and let the room. 

Ethan was in another room with Sofia. After they had woken up the Doctors took them to the Queen suite. Sofia was in one room while Ella was in another. I knocked on the door and Ethan told me to come in. He was sitting on the bed looking at Sofia. 

"Malissa is awoke," I said

"Good. Let's go."

When we walked into Malissa hospital room I could see she was chained to the bed and was trying to get free. 

"You might as well stop trying to get loose. You are wasting your time. There is no way you can get out of those chains," I said and Malissa looked at me

"King Edward. Please let me go. I don't know why I am in here. I promise I didn't do anything wrong," Malissa said and I laughed

"Oh really? So you are telling me that you didn't poison Queen Sofia and my beloved and kidnap them?" I asked

"No. I promise I didn't. It must have been that bitch Ava. She set this whole thing up. She used me. This was all her," Malissa said

"And you had nothing to do with it?" Ethan asked

"no, I swear. It wasn't me," Malissa said

"Really. Well, too bad I don't believe you," I said as I walked over to her and took the chains off of her. "Since you don't want to talk I guess I will have to make you," I said and I dragged her out of the hospital.

Ethan and I took her to a cell. "Now you are going to tell me the truth," I  said as I threw her in a cell.

"I promise I am telling you the truth. I didn't do it. It was all Ava. She is setting me up," Malissa said

"Okay," I said and then I grabbed her hand and broke one of the fingers. That caused her to scream in pain. 

"Let's try this again. Why did you do this?" I asked

"I didn't, ahh." I broke another one of her fingers. Then, I lifted her by her throat and held her against the wall. 

"Edward, maybe you should calm down. You don't' want to kill her before we figure out what happened," Ethan said

"That isn't going to happen. She won't die but she will suffer,"  said

"Now tell me why you did it?" I said 

"Okay, I will talk," Malissa said and I threw her on the ground. 

"Talk."
